Selene wrapped her arms around Spain's neck and hold tight. She tightly closed her eyes when she felt her back gets numb after sleeping for hours in such a position. "Shit!"
"Don't curse. It sadden my being." The wind whistled on the leaves. "Why were you in such a place when it's already dark, Selene?"
"I overslept", she is sulking. She looked at his eyes. The same crimson eyes in her dreams but it felt different. Spain headed not to her room but rather in the riverside.
She could feel the cold fresh air that brush into her skin. It made her shiver a bit as she is wearing a fitted Celtic dress. The she opened her eyes and saw a perfect reflection of the moon. "Wow.." she got amazed of what she saw.
He saw her amused beauty for the night sky. He gradually pulled her away from him. Holding her hand and put a cloak on her back.
Her body was trembling when he pulled her close. "I won't let you go." He smiled at her as an assurance. Spain gently pressed her hand. He stared at her beauty that is glowing with the night sky as the dim moonlight shine on her rosy skin.
"Let's go to a place where no one can find you." He jokingly released his hold on her. He put his hands at the back of his head as he walked on her pace.
Selene stop on midway. "You go first. I don't know where we were heading." She pouted.
He rubbed his nape. "Come." It took less than twenty minutes of walking when they approached a rock and his hand searched for a rotating knob, revealing a secret passage under ground.
Selene's jaw dropped when she saw the rock move on its own. "Wow." She is in awe again.
Torch across the passage lighted on its own. "Welcome to my humble abode." He welcomed her with a warm smile.
Her eyes drifted to the torch. "Why I haven't known of this place despite of my frequent visit?" Selene asked as she looked around walking through the passage. She touched the wall.
They walked to a passage until they reached the exit and they are welcomed by a maze garden. "This is my secret place."
"I'll be lost if I enter that maze." She looked at him then point her finger in the maze.
"Only brave and pure souls get there out alive. It is cursed." He informed her. He held his hand, leading her way to the mansion.
"Really? I'm not brave so I'm not gonna try it." She looked at him.
He nodded. "Okay" He sat on the bar stool and pour a wine on a chalice and sipped on it.
"Would you like spending the night here, Selene? Don't get me wrong. I am not pushing you away or inviting you. You can stay here as long as you want.", Spain almost stuttered when he said those words.
Selene slowly walked towards him and kissed him on his forehead.
