At the same time, Odom was expanding the town, he had built five large blacksmith houses that were able to fully accommodate hundreds of blacksmiths working. The blacksmiths would be able to exchange their experiences with each other as well.
The reason these Dwarfs respected him so much was because they knew that this old human was a Grandmaster blacksmith.
This garnered far more sincere respect from the Dwarfs than their respect for the strong.
