When I was reborn in this world, I was born as a beastman named Felix, or more accurately a demi-human fox. My eyes were brown with catlike features. My ears, hair, and tail were a bright red and orange, while the tip was white. Not only that, my hands and feet have also sharp black nails that can be used for fights. But mostly we have the body of a human.
My mother named Felicia Dane was a single mom raising me in a small village called Calli village. It has a population roughly made up of 500 people, mostly made up of humans and other beastmen. While I was only two years old, my Mom would take me to the market to shop with her. As I was closely following behind my Mom, a beastkin lady called out to her.
"Felicia!" She says while waving.
"Oh, hi Lala" Mom waves back.
While my Mom was chatting with her friend, I notice someone hiding behind Mom's friend.
"Felicia, is that your son?" Mom's friend pointed at me.
"Yes, his my adorable little boy Felix." Mom pats my head.
"Hello there Felix, nice to meet you." She waves at me, which I wave back. "Say hi to my daughter, Sally."
When Mom's friend introduce herself to me, She pats the back of the little girl, shyly tugging beside her mother's dress.
"He-hello there, I'm Sally." With a hint of shyness, she spoke to me softly.
"Hi! my name is Felix." I happily introduce myself
After introducing myself, she then buries her face into her mother's dress.
"She's a bit shy when meeting someone new, but when you get to know her, she's a very energetic little girl." Her mother said to me.
Now that I can clearly see her, I took a good look at her. Sally has gray hair that reaches down her neck, with a gray tail and ears, with deep blue eyes.
'She reminds me of a gray wolf." I thought to myself
After Mom was done chatting with her friend, we wave goodbye
[A Few Days Later]
I manage to meet Sally at a lake outside of town. After playing for a bit, I underestimated how energetic she was. We were playing multiple games and it includes a lot of physical activity. After an hour of playing, we were exhausted. Good thing I have a good body due to being a beastman or just physically resilient, maybe both.
"I never thought... that someone... could... catch up with me..." Sally says while panting for air.
"I'm beginning... to question... where you got… so much energy..." I said to her while also panting for air.
After that, we became friends.
[Two Years Later]
I'm now four-years-old and this will be the first time I have to go to school in this world. My Mom, who is excited about me going to school gave me the biggest smile.
"Felix," She says as she pats my head. "I want you to learn as much as possible so that you can be successful in your life." She says as she kisses my forehead.
"Ok, mom!" I happily said to her.
"I love you, little Felix!" She says to me.
"Love you too! Bye!" I wave to her before heading to school.
After walking for a few minutes, I reach the town hall where classes are being held. I saw Sally waiting at the doorway, scanning the surrounding before spotting me, she quickly waves at me.
"Took you long enough!" She says while grinning.
"You can just wait for me inside, you know?" I said to her.
"Yeah…" She says with a long pause. "But it's full of other kids that I don't know." She says with a nervous voice.
"Now that you mention it. We were always playing together, while the other kids left us alone." I said to her.
'Or that we were too energetic for the others to catch up.' I thought to myself.
"Hey! I'm here with you, so there's nothing to worry about!" I energetically said to her.
"Yeah! Let's go inside!" Dragging me inside to where the classes are held.
As we arrive in the classroom, we saw a few kids from the neighborhood. We then head inside to search for a place to sit, when suddenly three boys walk toward us with a grin, making everyone uneasy.
"Look what we have here, a flea-ridden beastkins." A fat kid with somewhat expensive clothing said to us.
"Yea! What dirty animals!"
"You should be skinned, and made as a rug!"
Bullies. The most cliché and annoying people you can find at any school, trying their hardest to assert dominance. I have experienced bullying in my previous life and it's also here. When I see the others, they just look away, especially the other beastkin kids. Well, I'll just ignore the bullies like I always do.
"Let's find a seat, Sally," I said to her nonchalantly.
"O-ok." She says nervously.
We went around the bullies like they were invisible and found two vacant seats Sally and I then sat down on the chairs and ignore them so that we won't be harassed, or that's what I thought when fat fingers suddenly grab my shoulder.
"What do you think you're doing!?" A vein pops in my head as he said that.
"Sitting on our seats," I replied.
"Did I give you permission!?"
'He's starting to get in my nerves.'
"You don't have any permission to say that, idiot."
"Why you!" Making a fist, he hurls his right to my face.
With a quick reaction, I caught his fist.
'Hey, this has barely any strength.'
While grabbing his fist, I dug my nails on his skin, making it painful for him, but making sure it doesn't bleed. I then show him my most ferocious grin, while wincing from my nails.
"This will be your first warning. If you ever harass me or the others, you will see my bad side and it will not be pretty" As they stare at my eyes, they saw a very cold and dangerous meaning behind it.
A few seconds later, a familiar smell hits my nose. When I look at the three, I saw damp patches on their pants.
'Pfft! Did they seriously wet themselves?' I thought while holding my laughter in.
"I think you want to go home and change your pants." Pointing at the patch.
"EEEEGGGHHHH!!!~" Then they ran away, crying.
"Good grief, are you ok Sally?" I scratch my head. "Sorry, you have to see that," I said while smiling nervously.
Sally's cheeks went red.
"Y-your so cool!
"Amazing."
"You were a bit scary, but that was so amazing what you did for us!"
"They were running with there tails between their legs!"
My classmates who are now surrounding me gave comments after comments about how I dealt with the bullies. Then a young man enters the room, noticing the clothes and pointy ears he has.
"Ok, class, please settle down, the lessons about to start"
When we heard that, we went to our seats.
"Thank you," Sally whispers to me.
"There's no need to say thank you, I did it for all of us."
"I really mean it" She shakes her head. "thank you." Her cheeks are red as a tomato.
"The boy is now growing up fast." God Chuckles.
"Yes, he is."
"So what will happen?"
"He will become something greater in the future."
