Wow!, Lagos State University is very nice. The city itself is very beautiful, I know that am going to enjoy my stay here,so it my first day of school and am so anxious to meet people and make friends,my roommate is nice and I love my room and the house all thanks to my mom.
After getting to class I sat down on an empty seat since I was a little bit early, looking beautiful in my white blouse and black skirt,I just kept on looking everywhere because it foreign to me
"Hi" A beautiful dark girl said to me drawing me away from my thoughts
"Oh hi"I said back to her
"Am Veronica"she said smiling
"Am Corrie"
"Is anyone sitting beside you Corrie"
"No just me"
"Okay "she said sitting down",I know in a few hours the class would be crowded"
"Yeah"I replied
"Am so excited to be here"
"Yeah,me too"
"Am glad am not the only one feeling nervous,I mean it wasn't easy to get into faculty of law so I can't wait for my first lecture"
"Yeah me too"
Within a few hours the class was filled to the brim and the lecturer came in to give us a advice and tell us the courses we would be taking, everyone was sad 🙁 that lectures won't take place today I followed Veronica and we went to the canteen to eat,she really is nice
"So are you staying in the hostel"
Shaking my head "No am not"
"That so nice I wish I could rent house somewhere"
"Why can't you"I asked feeling confused
"It expensive"
"Oh"
"Anyway my roommate is nice,so am grateful"
"My roommate is nice too"
"What are you having "she asked
"Fried rice and chicken with curry sauce at the side"
"Okay am going to have what you are having"She said to the waiter who served us our food and we carried it to an empty seat since we have been in the queue waiting.

After Eating
"Let's exchange numbers"I said to her
"Okay"she said calling out her number
"So am going back to my house,do you want a lift"
"Oh,you have a car"
"Yes I do"
"Okay then thank you"she said smiling
After dropping Veronica at her hostel I went back to the house and slept till evening until the opening of the front door woke me up
"Corrie are you at home"Benita shouted
I came out of my room cause we have separate rooms, one sitting room and a kitchen
"am at home"
"How was your first day"she asked smiling
"It was nice I met a new friend"
"That nice,so am going out later with my friends do you want to come along "she said opening the fridge to take water"
"To where"I asked
"This amazing club to party"
"Sorry I think am going to pass I just got here and I haven't settled down yet"
"All the more reason to come out with us"
"No sorry"I said not wanting to be rude
"Okay then maybe another time"she said walking to her room door
"Okay"I said softly,she went into her room and closed the door,I hope I haven't hurt her feelings,I heard my phone ringing and went into my room to answer it
"Hello Mom"
"Corrie you haven't given me a call today"
"Really mom, sorry I've just been very busy today
"Okay darling"
"How is Mamacita ❤️"
"She is fine darling only missing you"
"I miss her too "
"What about me"
"I miss you too mom
"Okay, have to go"
"Okay Mom"

"Bye"I said ending the call,then went to the kitchen to prepare dinner while knocking on benita's door asking her if she was going to eat to which she answered yes then I went ahead to the kitchen to prepare dinner.
