Flames POV
After a long talk with Fang I felt I needed a break and decided to take a walk around on my own after all this is my home and I want to explore every inch of it.
I know before I was used to seeing towering castle walls i could walk around in as a dragon decked out in gold and jewels but now it all seemed to grand now that I lived a life as a poor human. don't get me wrong jewels are a girls no wait a dragons best friend as we hoard them away in caves but still it was to much to fast it was enough to make even an owl lose its head.
Fang said I can be whatever I want and not just a dragon and right now i feel like hiding like a spider hides away in a corner but he also stated their is a risk in doing that with the crown that holds all my powers as bugs have no brain i could easily lose control of myself and get stuck as a bug. Yuck. i needed that crown and fast but its been centuries since I've seen it let alone remember where I hid it.
Ugh I hate my life.

time ticked away as Flame tried settling into her new life as queen at first it was hard but with the help of Fang and the others she was able to manage.
Fang never pushed her to hard to regain all her memories though Flame could tell it was hurting him that she couldn't fully remember him or their past but she knew he made her heart race and skip beats and she really liked him. every day she handled her queenly duty's of overseeing all the clans under her reign and when done she checked on the orphan children still left in her care after the others were reunited with their families or adopted by someone of the same animal race to help them adjust to their new lives and at night she tried to meditate and focus her mind on her memories to see if she could remember anything but she always failed luckily Fang told her of of ane elder who might be able to help her with a magic he called dream walking a
it was originally a method she created to help those who were suffering from nightmares and Flame originally taught it to him Flames first thought when when Fang told her this was the old saying 'the teacher becomes the student ' causing her to laugh only to be questioned by Fang who just stared at her with an unamused look after she told him
Flames POV
the days passed by in a blur with all the work I had to do it was stressful at times and boring sometimes especially sitting and listening to all the elders complaints but still I listened and tried to find a solution to make them happy so they would leave me alone luckily Viper, Una, and Fang were big helps as Una took notes while Fang and Viper helped strategize for a good result but after about a month of this I needed a break so I decided to dip out of my history lesson the lady who taught it was just so boring I would nod off so today I'm skipping it I just need to avoid Fang so he doesn't prevent me from going out and that was going to require some help so I called in reinforcement from Una and Viper.
Una made a distraction while Viper snuck me past the guards so we three could explore I was bored with exploring the castle walls and room I wanted to see outside and Una told me of this one spot by the lake that was supposed to be really relaxing.
