"Are you deaf?" The elder asked coldly.
Only then did Xia Hongye snap back from his thoughts and quickly said, "Sir, I know."

The elder's eyes flashed with surprise. If he caught Ye Chen, he could claim credit from Tang Ao.

The elder's face turned angry again. It seemed that he had gotten happy too soon.
"Hmph! I heard that this brat has a close relationship with your daughter. Where's your daughter? Ask her to come out now!"
"My daughter and her mother went to my mother-in-law's home a few days ago. They haven't returned yet. Even if they want to rush over, it will take some time."
