After changing close Minxi put on her heels and went to her underground garage to pick her car. She decided to go with the slick black Zenv Zenvo ST1 and started the engine and headed off to her Uncles house. In the background, a man was staring in her direction but she didn't seem to notice a thing.
After reaching her Uncles villa she was stopped at the gate to show her identification and was soon let in after.
"MinXi"
"Uncle Xi how have you been"
"Well, oh how you have grown you look more and more like" your mother he kept the last word to himself
"I know," Minxi said a little dejectedly
"ok now hurry and get in you two," Aunt Mian said as she went to hug Minxi and welcome her into the villa.
The family of three went into the living room and sat down, but Aunt Mian soon left to check on dinner
" Where is big brother Jiron, is he not home right now"
"No, your cousin went out of the country on a business trip he will return next week"
"Oh ok"
"Dinner is ready, come I made your favorites Minxi"
"Mmm smells good"
The three sat down and had a scrumptious meal over some small talk and wine. MInxi had not felt so happy in a long time she wished moments like this would last longer.
After the marvelous dinner, Uncle Xi thought he should bring up the topic now. MInxi saw the look she was being given and knew what he wanted to talk, but before it eve started she said "No"
"Uncle Xi, we talked about this and I don't think I must engage myself in such messy relationships, and I certainly don't need one to take care of me."
"Just think about you are about to turn 26 and I'm not getting younger, I just want someone to take care of you when I'm gone."
"I don't need a man to take care of me I can take care of myself."
"Do you plan to stay single forever then"
" If I must I will"
"You have to get over what your father did and open up a bit I'm worried about you and saying this for your own good. Now I have a friend and he and I thought that you and his son would be a good match."
'What!!"
" Hear me out just meet him once if you don't like him I won't say anything else."
"Uncle you Uhggh"
"Please Minxi having a partner is no such a bad thing and the boy seems quite nice," said Aunt Mian while bringing in the tea.
"ok, but only this time I hope that you won't match make me again next time or I won't forgive you or Aunt Mian"
' Meeting won't hurt, right? it's just a meeting nothing will happen' thought Minxi
"Ok then it is settled you two will meet at RiverMi Hotel for a dinner date at 7 pm don't be late ok" Uncle Xi stated looking elated over the fact that Minxi finally accepted his deal.
After being at her Uncles house for hours it was getting later and Minxi decided to call it a night and head home.
She had to get some sleep and prepare to look after her company work before the dinner meeting tomorrow. She had the feeling that it will be a very hectic day tomorrow that it made her develop a mild headache.
