On the way home Minxi happens to see a familiar-looking park outside the car window if she didn't remember correctly that park should be the one that she moused to take her to play every Friday when she came early off her office work shifts.
Stop the car near the park over there
The car brought a sense of nostalgia and old fond memories of laughter, sounds of swings, and sweet smiles exchanged between her mother and herself.
Minxi found a bench and sat herself down to watch the ongoing children playing with their parents and others leaving the playground as the sun was setting rather quickly in the distance. As she was basking in the warm sunlight breeze someone came and sat next to her. Obviously Minxi noticed but took no action to prevent the stranger from sitting there as well nor did she look at them.
After a while, she felt a gaze often lingering on her so she turned to look at the stranger that sat next to her. To her surprise, the man was quite the looker. He was tall even when he was sitting with dark raven hair that looks slightly silverish in the golden sun, tanned golden skin, thick eyebrows, phoenix shaped eyes, a long straight nose, and thick kissable lips, but his most striking facial feature was his dark blue grayish eyes that seem to contain all the secrets in the world they were so clear, sharp, and fascinating.
After a while Min xi caught herself staring and chided herself for being rude so she quickly looked away.
The man next to her had sensed her staring at him but decided not to say anything
As the sun finally set and disappeared Minxi decided to leave she stood up and was going to pick up her handbag but the strap was being sat on by the man with raven hair.
After contemplating for a bit Minxi voiced out her thought by saying
Excuse me, sir, can you please move a little I need to get my bag and your sitting on it."
The man turned to her, looked down, and then back at her. Minxi was a little embarrassed at his stare and looked away. The man slowly stood up, picked up the handle of the bag ad gave it to her.
Minxi felt uneasy with the gaze the man was looking at her with so she grabbed her bag and gave a quick" Thank You" before hurting off to her car on the other side of the street.
As the car was leaving she gave a quick look to the man on the other side of the road and her surprise he was still looking at her.
" drive" Minxi took her gaze off from the stranger and gave the driver instructions and off the car went into the night.
Raven Hair POV:
I decide to sit next to her in hopes she would recognize me, but she didn't but I was satisfied with being this close. Since I haven't been this close to since that time.
It felt good to feel a gaze lingering on me. I knew she was admiring my face as that seems to be the thing she was staring at most at this moment, but she was looking for an awfully long time and I'm beginning to feel a little shy.
I thought I would start a conversation but I didn't know what to talk about so the only words that came out of my mouth were my excuse to sit next to her.
God, I feel like an idiot.
Watching the sunset on the playground with her wasn't so bad. In fact, it reminded me of when we first met as kids it was this exact playground she used to come here every day with her mom and it was near my old elementary school. remembering those days where the best times of our lives.
Slowly the sun started to disappear into the horizon and time flew by. I felt movement next to me and I thought she's leaving already.
She got up but then paused for a while before she turned to me and started speaking to me. At first, I thought I was hearing things till she tugged on her bag and I realized I was sitting on the strap. So I moved off in the slowest movements I think I have ever made and stood up. I thought I would hand her the bag and leave a good impression on her so I took the handle of the bag and gave it to her. In rather quick movements though she swiftly grabbed the bag from my hands and dashed off in the cuteness manner possible all the way to the other side of the street where her driver had parked her car.
I watched until the car was out of sight before moving to get into my own car far off the other side of the playground.
