Back to the present. The officer had been standing in front of Xuan Long for about five minutes. "Excuse me, sir!" the officer was annoyed now. Xuan Long was dragged back into reality looking up from his tablet and looked back down. 'Are you being serious! I've been standing here trying to get your attention and you don't even saying anything!' the officer was pissed off now. Before she can even saying anything to him, Xuan Long quickly wrote something on his tablet and showed it to the officer. Her angered face turned to a soft and apologetic. She felt stupid for not noticing the bandages around face.
"I'm very sorry for not noticing earlier. But I hope you can still answer my questions about this incident." the officer still had to question him because of the investigation. Xuan Long nodded, starting to doing something on his tablet again. He then turns his tablet for the officer to see what he wrote down. On the tablet it said, 'I have some information on Zhen Kexi and why he did this. Can you wait five minutes and I'll hand over the information?'.
The officer agreed to wait five minutes for the information. Xuan Long took out a flash drive and connected it his tablet. In reality, it took only about a minute to transfer the information to the flash drive. After the information was transferred, he still had about four minutes to do something. He hacked into the police data base without alarming the police or other hackers. He looked up a certain name and that name is Wu Ling.
Wu Ling, age 25, occupation police officer. Yes that's right, Wu Ling was the officer standing before him. Looking at the data base something about her caught his eyes and smirk appeared on his face. Wu Ling couldn't tell that he was smirking because the bandages were covering his face. In Xuan Long's mind he noted that he will do full investigation on her later when he was free. After he was done looking at the data base, he left the without leaving a trace that he there in data base. He took out flash drive and handed it to Wu Ling. She took it but was a little hesitant about it. While looking at the flash drive, Xuan Long took out a pen and piece of paper to write down his name and number.
"Thank you, for your cooperation. Also I just want to apologize again for being anger at you. I didn't notice the bandages. Like the bandages should've been the first thing I should've noticed. I was just annoyed that I was being ignored, but I shouldn't have been anger." at this point Wu Ling just continues talking about her mistakes and keeps apologizing. Xuan Long looks at her in astonishment and for the first time in years he smiles. Not that anyone would notice the smile underneath the bandages.
Wu Ling continues talking until she sees Xuan Long emotionless face and starts to blush. "I'm sorry, when I start talking I just can't stop. It's a habit of mine that I should fix but I really can't." she says sorry for talking but here she is doing it again and saying sorry. She even bows every time she apologizes. She final stopped talking when she saw Xuan Long write on his tablet. After a few seconds, he handed Wu Ling the tablet. When she saw what he wrote she blushed. Before she can say anything Lin Jun come over to make sure Xuan Long is fine.
"Is everything fine over here?" Lin Jun was worried about Xuan Long.
"No no, everything's fine. I was apologizing to him and thanking him for the information on the culprit." Wu Ling says while clearly being embarrassing. "Well, since you have your information, is Xuan Long free to leave?" Lin Jun wanted to leave as soon as possible.
"Ah yes, since I've the information, he's able to leave. Though, we will call you either of you to the police station if we have further questions. If that is fine with the both of you?" Though asking wasn't really necessary to ask them to come to the station. Wu Ling still asked their permission.
"Yes, that is fine with. I have already given my contact info the other officer." Lin Jun looks at Xuan Long "Is that fine with you Long?" Xuan Long nodded his head in agreement.
"Well, since everything is over Xuan Long and I will be leaving." Lin Jun really wanted a drink right now. "Yes, thank you for cooperating and have a nice day." Wu Ling quickly said before hurrying back to her superior. As Lin Jun and Xuan Long went toward the car, Xuan Long looked over his shoulder and saw Wu Ling. A smile appeared underneath his bandaged face.

- 30 minutes after the incident -
Lin Jun and Xuan Long finally arrive at the bar and it's now 9:20pm. They entered the bar and sat at the end of the table. Lin Jun ordered two glasses of whiskey. He downed the whiskey in one go and ordered more. Xuan Long, on the other hand, had to slightly move the bandages over his move to drink. He was carefully enough not to show much of his lips though. As time passed, Lin Jun and Xuan Long talked about the company, their lives, and the recent incident. It was now 11:20pm. Lin Jun wanted to call it a night and head home.
"What's your address? I'll drop you off and then head home." Since Lin Jun knew that they were gonna drink, he had someone drive them here in his car. Xuan Long shook his head, indicating that he'll be fine and will walk home. "Are you sure? It will be easier for you to let me drop you off. Plus it's already late." Lin Jun knew that Xuan Long can take of himself, but still was slightly worried for him.
Xuan Long nodded and took out his tablet and starting writing something. He handed it to Lin Jun after a while. Written on the tablet was, [Don't worry I'll be fine. Thank you for inviting me out for a drink.] Lin Jun breathed out a sigh, "Fine, since you said you'll be fine. I won't worry, but my offer still stands if you decide to change your mind." With that Lin Jun got in his car and ordered his driver to go take him home. Xuan Long stood their until he couldn't Lin Jun's car. He then waved for a taxi and went home for tonight. He was extremely exhausted for some reason.
