When Xia Meili left his penthouse, Xuan Long began his daily routine. He went jogging in the park that was near StarLight. After the light warm-up, he went to his personal gym because people would stare at him when he was in the StarLigth Gym. After working out it was now around 12:48 PM almost time for him to finally look at Wu Ling.
He was ready to hack into the police station database to get the basic information. Depending on how much information there is he might have to look somewhere else for more in-depth information. As he was about to put his fingers on the keyboard, Xuan Long suddenly stopped all movement. Someone entered his house. Xuan Long didn't want to alert the person, so he slowly moved his right hand underneath the couch. There underneath the couch was a lightweight costume built ZEV technologies G34 Dragonfly. Chambered 9mm hollow point. Few seconds past and still no movement from the intruder. Xuan Long pretended to work on his laptop while waiting for the intruder to get closer to him.
Couple minutes past by and the intruder is behind Xuan Long with a gun pointed to his head.
"If you're gonna pull the trigger then do it." While unfazed by the cold sensation of the barrel behind his head.
"How'd you know it was me!?" The intruder felt surprised.
"Come around and sit down. Tell me what's been how've you been these past few years?" Xuan Long gestures the intruder to sit down.
"Don't dodge the question Long-ge. How'd you know it was?" The young man sat down beside Xuan Long and pleated.
"No one besides you has the keys to this place. Also, no one knows that I live here besides you. Everyone who knows me as Xuan Long knows that he lives in a complex near the company. Also, I could smell your cologne when you entered." Xuan Long continues to look at his laptop. "Now tell me, how've you been Li Jing? I'm curious if you have a girlfriend. No, wait maybe a wife if grandma didn't already try to set you up."
"I don't have a girlfriend or a wife. And you have no idea how many times grandma set me up with a woman. All of them were just after our family's money and name. I had to beg grandma to stop and let me find one for myself." Li Jing complained to his brother.
"*laughing* I see that grandma hasn't changed all these years I was gone. What about grandpa and father? How are they doing?" Xuan Long couldn't help but be excited to know how his family was doing.
"Well, grandpa still working at the company as a stand-in CEO when father isn't around. Plus since he owns forty-three percent in shares he has to show up for the monthly board meeting. While father is still running the company as the current CEO. He's been wanting to pass it to you once you've come back." Li Jing happily speaks to Xuan Long.
"Well, I'm going to have to disappoint him. I will be only running the company until you've gained more experience in the family business." Xuan Long says while smiling at his little brother.
"what!? Noooo I don't wanna be CEO. You're much better than me in running a company." Li Jing starts to complain like a baby.
"Stop acting like a baby and grow up. Later today I'm gonna have a talk with grandpa and father. In which I'll pass the CEO position onto you. And you gonna be apart of that talk whether you like it or not." Xuan Long states as his hits Li Jing's head.
"Fine, but only on one condition." Li Jing said with a smirk.
"Speak." Though Xuan Long already knew what his little brother was going to say.
"You have to build me a car with the details that I want." Li Jing knew this was the only way for him to get this special car.
" *sigh* Fine, I'll build you one, but that can come later." Xuan Long knew this request was going to come sooner or later. "Now I want to know what's going on with the five great families."
"Right let's start with the gold dragon family. Recently they've been mobilizing their people. For what reason I haven't figured out. Though I do know that they're dealing in some illegal crimes and trades. Such as drugs, human trafficking, guns, and some other things that I have to look into more." Li Jing started to report on the five great families.
"What about the white and blue dragon family?" Xuan Long was curious as to what they were doing.
"Well it's just as you said before the gold dragon family pressured both white and blue dragon family into allying with them. However instead of allies it's more like they either blackmailed or threatened the family into being their slaves." Li Jing flawlessly reports about these two families.
"And what about the red dragon family? What are they doing?" From what Xuan Long hears this family hasn't done anything.
"The red dragon family hasn't made a move, yet. And it seems that they don't intend to come in between the gold dragon family. That is unless the gold dragon family does something to offend them." Li Jing says in a angry tone.
"Don't worry they're going to have to make a move soon. I'll make sure that they ally with us, the black dragon family." Xuan Long had a evil smirk while looking at the reports. "Anything else?"
"That's it for the five families." Li Jing shuddered when he saw his big brother's face.
In that moment Li Jing's phone rang on the table. Both brothers looked at the caller ID and it was their father. Li Jing quickly picks up and answers the phone. "Hello father, how are... WHAT!? Why!? I'll be there right now."
"What happened?" Xuan Long knew something must've happened Li Jing has to leave right away.
"Apparently the gold dragon family showed up at our house. It seem they want to cause some trouble with our company and family." Li Jing started to panic as it's to sudden for them to make a move right now.
"Calm down first little brother. They're probably after our shares in the company. I want you to go and stall until I come. They're probably thinking that since I'm not here they can take our company." Xuan Long calmingly explains what to do.
"What are you going to do?" Li Jing knows that his big brother doesn't do things on a whim.
"I planned to do this later on but since they made their move It's time for me make mine. Let the game of chess begin." Xuan Long had a evil look in his eyes.
After explaining what Li Jing should do when he get home. Xuan Long drove his car into the territory of the red dragon family.
'I don't know if this is going right now but it's a gamble. I just hope they agree to my terms.' Xuan Long thought to himself after finally arriving at the main base or the home of the old red dragon.
