The Myths shake their heads when hearing Madam Blackwell. Ren nods agreeing that his english needs improvement not shocked that Madam Blackwell can speak Japanese fluently.
"Your birthday feast has already been set up, Kill." Madam Blackwell informs her grandson.
"Thank you Grandma but you shouldn't be standing. It's bad for your back." Killian scolds his grandmother gently and quickly supports her.
"Stop being such a worry wart. It doesn't suit your nickname." Madam Blackwell says while getting dragged away from Killian.
"I didn't tell you to call me Kill. You should just call me Kiki like all the rest."
"But that's a girly name."
"Lian is more of a girly name." Lance comments.
Madam Blackwell shoots him a glare.
Lance shuts up when sensing her killing aura.
"She used to be a trader when she was in her teen years 600 years ago." I whisper to Ren.
Ren nods before asking, "How old is she?"
"647." I reply.
"Isn't Edith older?" Ren asks.
"Yes. She's in her 800's."
"So how-" Ren starts.
I cut him off. "She is nearing a demon's life span which makes her age. She will life for a few more years though since she is a higher rank than average but she will look old."
"Okay."
We walk into the dining room which a long table with lots of different plates of food are present. The table are already filled halfway with some of the Myths families being there.
Only ones that aren't here are the Woods who are still trying to clean up their packs up from the more recent attacks which has been happening for a few months now. If it continues next month I will have to get involved.
"Those are Killian's uncles and aunts." I say pointing to the four people over to the side talking with the Myths families.
Three look exactly like Kingsley while one looks exactly like Kiara. Like the male and female versions of each other which they are.
"Everyone is here so we will immediately start with the feast before the birthday cake." Madam Blackwell shouts catching everyone's attention.
We quickly sit down in empty seats before digging into the food like the others.
Ren stops after looking around. "Why can I only see one of Aunt Kiara's family here?"
"That is all Aunt Kiara has is her brother, Kezie." I answer him. "Their parents died when they were teens."
"Oh." Ren looks down at his food.
Kiara looks over before smiling. I smile back knowing that she knows what Ren asked but she doesn't mind. Her motto is 'even if life is hard get up and keep fighting.'
We all talk to each other and Ren's personality makes him get along with everyone especially Aunt Kiara's brother, Kezie who loves robots or technology all together. Japan is one of the most advanced countries with their soccer playing robots.
"Kingsley go get the cake." Madam Blackwell orders her son.
"Yes ma." Kingsley obeys.
Kingston bursts out laughing when seeing his younger brother get up so obediently.
"Kingston you can go help since you have so much energy."
Kingston smiles falls and he stares at Madam Blackwell with big eyes. "Ma..."
"Go!" Madam Blackwell raises her voice scaring all four of her children.
Kabira and Kaarina flee to help with the cake with their brothers.
After a minutes the four second generation of Blackwell's come back with a five tiered cake. The cake is grey on the bottom and slowly fades to black which a black smoke comes from the top.
"Stop using your magic on the cake Kabira." Madam Blackwell scolds.
The black smoke disappears and Kabira shows a guilty face. "I thought it would encourage them to learn wisp."
"Says the only one who can in the second generation." Kingsley mutters.
"What did you say?" Kaarina asks her brother.
"Nothing." Kingsley hurriedly says and places the cake on the table. "Who's cutting it?" He changes the subject.
"I will." Aunt Kiara offers and she gets the knife from the table and begins to cut the cake into even pieces.
With the help of others the cake is soon given to everyone.
Aria takes small bites while muttering under her breath.
"What was that Ari? Something about Kaarina's magic?" Lance asks loudly beside her.
"What's wrong with my magic?" Kaarina asks taking Lance's bait.
Lance shrugs and points to Aria discreetly but everyone can see.
"What's wrong with my magic, angel?" Kaarina asks.
Aria looks up with a frown. "Nothing, why?"
"You were saying that you hated her magic." Lance comments.
"Is that true, angel?" Kaarina asks standing up. She is the only one who still believes that angels hate demons.
"So what if it's true?" Aria asks also standing up.
"Stop it Kaarina!" Kingsley hisses.
"She didn't mean anything. It was Lance." Kabira hisses eyes turning darker than black.
Kaarina doesn't stand down. "If you hate my magic than I hate yours. What's with your float. It may as well be bloat."
"Aria stand down!" I yell seeing Aria lunge for Kaarina.
"Look what you've done Lance." Killian hisses and stands up to help hold his Aunt.
Lance blinks looking confused.
"Lance!" Orion growls.
"I didn't know she would say that." Lance mutters.
"Kiara take Ren to the next room." Madam Blackwell orders which Kiara is already doing. "Kaarina stop it or I'll send you to the Shadow Realm!"
Kaarina stops her hand which is about to touch Aria. Aria takes this opportunity to pin Kaarina to the ground.
"At least I have some curves. Your soulmate left you for a chubbier woman." Aria says in her bossy tone.
Kaarina squirms underneath Aria but Aria has already tied her with her whip.
All of a sudden Aria gets lifted into the air by someone which she starts to move around to break loose.
"Stop it, Aria." Lance growls finding it hard to hold her.
"Let go you troublemaker!" Aria shouts. A light shines and when it fades the two have disappeared.
"They won't be back." I say still sitting down. I did yell to stop Aria but I didn't leave my seat.
"Kaarina go to Shadow Realm to reflect." Madam Blackwell commands.
Kaarina grinds her teeth in anger but she disappears.
"So sorry." Kabira apologizes to Aunt Alice but Aunt Alice also apologizes.
"It's our fault Aria is too easily angered."
"No Kaarina shouldn't of brought up something that all girls are self-conscious about. She herself is."
"The birthday party is ruined so we'll go our separate ways." Aunt Imogen says still eating the birthday cake. "Still an awesome baker Madam Blackwell." She compliments before saying short goodbyes and leaving with the Foxes.
