"Eh? You don't want to hang out?" I ask over the phone.
"I am so sorry Chichi but I am busy with training. A practice match against the runner-up of last year's national volleyball is in a week so Coach wants us to use this week to practice. I am so sorry."
"It's alright. Good luck on your match next week." I encourage him.
"Thank you Chichi. I am so sorry." Yuu apologizes again before hanging up.
"Was he busy?" Ren asks staring at me from the sofa.
"Yeah. He had to train." I reply with a smile.
"Oh."
The door bell rings just as I put my phone on the counter.
I look at Ren. "Are you expecting someone?"
Ren shakes his head. "Are you?"
"Why would I ask you if I was?" I shake my head and go to get the door. I open it to see Orion, Daniel, Quantum and Quasar. "What are you doing here?"
"We came to visit." Daniel replies and steps into the modern apartment without being invited. He takes his shoes off and changes into house slippers before saying hi to Ren.
"Hi. Can we come in?" Quantum and Quasar has manners.
I step to the side while glaring at Daniel who has made himself at home on one of the two sofas.
"I brought snacks." Orion says bringing my attention to him. He lifts the shopping bag up to show.
I smile. "You know me best." I half hug him while taking the snacks off him.
He smiles and changes shoes before walking in. "Got any ice?"
"In the freezer." I reply.
Orion nods and grabs a cup from a drawer. He opens the fridge grabs the ice tray and fills the cup with it. He then goes into the bottom of the fridge and pulls out a soft drink bottle.
I look away and take the snacks out of the bag and onto the dining table.
Orion sits across from my snacks while sipping his cold drink. "What are you going to do next?" He asks.
"Henry should be plotting in the shadows and should make his move at least in a month. The maximum would be in November or December. I have Nicholas watching his bank account and Felix watching the pack. Nicholas has set Dexter up with keeping an eye out on Henry's actions." I answer sitting down.
"You don't trust Dex?" Orion asks holding his chin with his left hand.
"He's too close to Henry."
"But you can read his mind."
"I still don't like it."
"You hold grudges." Orion says.
"I have many grudges." I agree with him.
Orion shakes his head. "You are so stubborn."
"It's genetic."
"Mother didn't have this trait."
"Ellora was naïve."
"You still holding a grudge against her for staying with Henry?"
I look at Orion and tilt my head. He glances away knowing that the answer is yes.
"Anyway, what do you plan to do with family?" Orion asks changing the subject.
"If they keep out of my way I will keep out of theirs. Even though we are blood related they shouldn't ask for anything."
"You are so bias!"
"You just realized?"
"..." Orion can't refute.
"Hey Adira." Daniel says from the sofa.
"What?" I turn around and look at him.
"Look at the TV." Daniel says.
I look at the TV to see that it's on an entertainment channel but what catches my eye is the news they are talking about.
"Kiyoshi Kitamura the leader of Kitamura Group has always been rumored to have a son. We can confirm that he has a son. The son is currently studying in Shizen International High in Nagoya Japan. The son's name is Ren Yamashita." The reporter says. A photo of Ren comes up on the screen.
My eyes widen and I look at the four boys sitting on the couch. All four are looking at me wanting to know what to do next. I whip my head to Orion.
"Orion get that taken down now!" I growl.
"On it." Orion says and calls someone. He commands the person to get all information on Ren to be taken down. He hangs up afterwards.
"Next on our program is Orion Stone has gone back to studying. It is either a coincidence or these two heirs know each other for Orion is also studying at Shizen International High."
My phone rings. I pick it up.
"ADIRA CHIKARA ASTRID YUKIMURA!!!!!!" The person on the other end screams. The scream was so loud that Ren can hear it from the other side of the apartment.
"Excuse me." I say and go to my room which is soundproof.
"You! We agreed!" Edith screeches.
"I didn't know that Orion was in Nagoya until he showed up in school as a new student."
"So when were you going to tell me?" Edith asks.
"Until the year ended." I reply honestly.
"You! Chikara!" Edith yells in frustration. "Get him back! Get him back now!!"
"No."
"No? NO!"
"I refuse to send him back unless it is his request. You can't control everything in your life and if you think that way you are blinded by power." I hang up. Aish she is going to be a pain. I grab my phone out and call someone.
"Hello?" A man asks from the other end.
"Uncle Hunter! Edith is trying to send Oreo to Stone Corporation!" I whine like a spoilt child.
A sigh comes from the other end. "What do you want me to do?"
"Stop her. Change her mind or you could kill her to avoid future troubles?"
"Adira!" Hunter shouts.
"Fine. Just make sure that she gives up on the idea of sending Oreo back to school."
"Okay." Uncle Hunter agrees and hangs up.
Uncle Hunter is the 6th son of Edith and Leon. The elder brother of Cora and Ellora. Like his name he is off the race Hunters which hunt other races one of the races responsible for making the pure-blood phoenix's extinct.
Nowadays hunters hunt ferals, rogue's, fallen angels and devils which are all species which have lost their insanity.
Although he was named after his hunter race he is also apart of the werecat race which are huge cats mainly being lions, pumas or cheetahs. Werecats are rare and mainly from Africa or Alaska.
