"Calm down Danny." I shout to the phone.
"But Ren has broken his ankle. Kiyoshi might have my head. What do I do?" Daniel panics.
"He won't have your head."
"This is all your fault!" Daniel blames.
"My fault? How?"
"If you didn't come to school I wouldn't have known that Ren was Kiyoshi's son and never would have befriended him."
"So you're only hanging out with Ren because of me?"
"Yes."
"Then you can get lost. You *sshole!"
"Adi!"
I throw my phone at the wall not even bothering to hang up.
Melanie and Epstein's eyes widen. She's pissed. RUN! They think before thinking that I might get more mad if they tried.
"What's wrong?" Melanie asks with a small voice. Although she is stronger well stronger than her husband she still can't put up with me losing my sh*t.
"You can never trust that Carter! Always thinking of himself!" I throw my hands in the air. "I should've quit being his friend ages ago! He goes on about being scared of Kitamura's yet he acts like them! Only thinking of himself and befriending people not because they like him but because they are acquainted to someone important!"
"What did Daniel say exactly?" Epstein asks.
"He was panicking that Kiyoshi might have his head. He then started blaming me for him being friends with Ren. How dare he!" I growl.
Melanie and Epstein look at each other. "Why are you mad?"
"I-" The question catches me off guard. I blink while thinking about it. I screech in frustration (thank god Epstein put a stone shield on Ren so that he doesn't hear). "I DON'T KNOW!"
"Why do you think you're upset?" Epstein asks like a therapist.
"Probably because Ren is a friend."
"Is he an important friend?"
"Well if comparing him to the Myths than not so much but if bringing up that I have been assigned to protect him from Kiyoshi who is close friends to Edith who can gather powerful figures to beat me than he is most important." I answer.
"I am not talking about the assignment but friendship. You said that he is not important as the Myths that is understandable since you six are basically one but would he be in the top 5 priorities?" Epstein asks.
I think about it. "Well first and foremost the top priority would be the Myths, then my wolf brothers, then Myths families and then it would be my second group of friends which he is in and then family."
"So he is the fourth priority?"
"I just said that. Can't you hear?" I ask Epstein. "Anymore questions?"
"No. I have concluded that Ren is important to you."
"So why am I angry at Daniel?" I ask him since he holds all the answers (note the sarcasm).
"He is a bit more important than young Carter because of the request made from Kiyoshi so you want the best for him like you want the best for everyone that you are close to." Epstein explains.
"Are we in your second group of friends?" Melanie asks.
"Yes. Same as the Li triplets, Wang Tao, Daniel, Quantum, Quasar and Ren." I reply.
While we are talking something we don't know about is happening in Tokyo which would make the year go off my plan,
A phone rings in an office. The co-workers glare at the phone's owner.
"Sorry." The worker apologizes before grabbing the phone and slipping out of the building. As soon as she is on the busy street her smile fades. She connects the call with a frown. "What?" She hisses.
"I know where Orion Stone is." A man's voice comes from the other side.
"Where?" The woman asks.
"Nagoya. He is in school."
The woman says silent after hearing the location and reason.
"Are you going to come down Miss Kuge?" The man asks hearing her silence.
"Yes. Get me a place to stay." Michiko Kuge orders.
"Everything comes with a price Miss Kuge." The man says.
"What do you want?" Michiko hisses.
"I want you to help me with exterminating a pest." The man answers with venom.
"Oh? Would this pest have anything to do with your precious?" Michiko asks.
"Yes." The man responds truthfully.
"Sure. I get Orion and you get your girl." Michiko says with delight.
"Don't hurt my precious." The man growls.
"I won't if she stays out of my way of getting the Stone heir." Michiko hangs up and immediately applies for a leave coming up with the excuse that her mother is sick. She walks out of Stone Corporation building with her handbag. 'Like I would care about that old hag' She sneers in her head.
Michiko grabs a cab and goes to the airport. She books the first flight and in an hour she is on her way to Nagoya.
A little bit over an hour the plane lands and Michiko puts her sunglasses on to block from the hot midday sun. She walks with her suitcase which she had someone get before going to the airport. While walking she looks around and finding the person who is supposed to pick her up isn't here, she calls him.
"Where are you?" She hisses.
The man sends her an address before hanging up.
Michiko stomps her foot. 'When I am Misses Stone I am going to kill that b*stard!' She curses in her heart.
She catches another cab and goes to the location the man gave her. When the cab stops she looks at the building to see that it's a small two story apartment building. Her eyes narrow with hatred and disgust. She pays the cab driver before walking up the stairs to the second story of the white building.
Michiko stops in front of one of the four doors before lifting her hand and knocking with her knuckles.
"Coming!" A man's voice says from the other side. Noise sounds before the door opens.
Standing before Michiko is a handsome boy about to transition from a late teen to an adult. He has brown eyes with light beige colored skin tone making him look delicate and lean. The only thing that is unusual feature about him is his white hair with brown streak.
"Michiko Kuge." The teen says coldly.
"Yuu Yachi."
