After school finishes and Ren has another volleyball practice I walk on a busy street with my bag over my shoulder. I informed Reiji to wait for Ren after school so that they can walk home together as I'm not able to.
"Do you think it will be a boy or a girl?" Someone asks breaking the silence.
"I hope it's healthy." I answer.
"Ha. We all do." Epstein laughs. "Melanie would be happy to see you after so many years."
"I am happy to see her." I reply and we continue walking until we get to a more quieter suburb. Epstein leads me into a cute cottage which is the perfect size for a small family. "It looks like you're already prepared for a child." I say taking my shoes off.
"Yes. Mel and I decided that we wanted one after moving to Japan. Unfortunately there were some difficulties but we finally got one." Epstein smiles sadly at first before smiling gently remembering that his wife is pregnant.
Epstein opens the door and before he can even say 'I'm home' a woman screaming in pain occurs.
Epstein and I run into the cottage and look at the beautiful woman standing in the middle of the kitchen. On the floor is a puddle of water but by the way she's screaming it's not water.
"Chikara call the mid-wife!" Epstein orders and his face shows concern and anxiousness.
I quickly grab the smartphone on the dining table and find the contact 'mid-wife'. I call it and quickly say that the baby is on it's way.
"Darling go get the bag labeled labor in the lounge room. Chikara nice to see you but can you help me get to the living room?" The beautiful woman, Melanie asks in a calm manner.
"Of course and nice to see you too." I say before quickly guiding her to the living room.
By this time Epstein has gotten the labor bag and taken a mat out. He puts it on the ground and I look away when he starts to take Melanie's pants off. He puts a blanket over her legs before telling me to get the door.
I quickly open the door to find two women and point to Melanie in the living room. The room has now started to smell of blood and another odor that I am definitely not going to say. I block my nose and go to the kitchen to get a snack from their fridge. I summon a nose peg and can't smell anymore. I also block my hearing so that I can't hear Melanie's screams which damn she should've been an opera singer.

'Aw. I thought we had a special connection.' I whine and mentally cringe at my own words.
Nine hours later,
"So a concrete apartment would be called a mansion?" I look at Epstein in surprise.
"Yes." Epstein nods.
An hour ago Melanie couldn't stand him screaming in pain from her squeezing his hand so she sent him away. Also because Epstein looked like he was going to pass out from all the blood. One thing is that Epstein has a phobia of blood and Melanie is the tougher partner of the two.
"But it's just an apartment."
Epstein shrugs. "You've always lived in villas so of course you wouldn't know about it."
I pout. "It ain't my fault I'm rich."
Epstein laughs. "You could pull one on me if you were under 5 but now you can't."
One of the mid-wives knock on the door.
"Excuse me. Misses Ito has finished."
Before I can even speak Epstein rushes out of the door. I smile and nod at the nurse.
"Thank you." I wait in the room for ten minutes so that Melanie and Epstein can have some time with their child. "What are you going to call it?" I ask as soon as I walk into the living room. I look at the child in Epstein's arms.
"I don't know." Epstein says and looks at the sleeping baby.
"You cannot name that baby, Epstein." Melanie says from the bed I brought in the living room for her to rest in while keeping an eye on her baby and clumsy husband.
"Can we at least call it something in english?" Epstein asks his wife.
Melanie doesn't respond.
"She fell asleep." I say.
"Let her rest then." Epstein says and puts the baby in the cott in the bedroom.
"It's late. Go to bed, I'll watch over."
Epstein nods.
I sit on the couch and take out my phone.
Kara: Has Felix came back?
Nicho: Yes
Kara: Good. You can come back anytime
Nicho: .....
I then text Christopher,
Kara: It's great that Fei has come back
Chris Bear: .....
Kara: By the way Melanie and Esptein had a child
Chris Bear: Really? That's awesome. What they call it?
Kara: Haven't named it yet. All are asleep
Chris Bear: Then I should let you go
Kara: Okay. Night
Chris Bear: Night little sis
I put my phone back in my pocket and cross my legs into the lotus position to meditate.
My spirit lake hasn't yet recovered from the time I drained it dry when Lorenzo had a seizure. Since then I teleported and changed appearance which has taken a small toll on Astrid hence her ignoring me.
"Asra." I summon her to let her look over the house.
Four hours later,
I get disturbed by the baby crying.
"Aish." I mutter and stop meditating. "Little Kin stop crying." I tell the small baby who's wailing. I put up a sound barrier so that Epstein nor Melanie can hear the child.
"Wah!" The baby boy continues to cry.
I pout when it doesn't listen. Babies are so hard. I don't want one. I huff when thinking and look away from the baby.
"Ah!" The baby screams.
My ears twicth when hearing it wail. Damn it could be a dolpin.
"Okay. Don't cry little Kin. Your parents are tired." I say calmly. The baby wails louder. "Aiyah! Why are you crying for? Are you hungry? I am too."
"It pooped." Lion appears and blocks her nose.
"What?" I whip my head to look at the baby. "That's disgusting."
"It's a baby, Adira. It can't go to the toilet." Lion rolls her eyes.
"So what am I supossed to do?" I turn to her since she knows so much.
"Change its diaper."
"No. I refuse to touch it."
"Do it or are you going to wake Melanie and Epstein up to do it?" Lion asks and crosses her arms.
I look at Epstein contemplating if I should wake him. It is his child.
I sigh and summon a pair of cleaing gloves. "After I do this will you promise to not cry?" I ask him.
The baby stops.
"I'll take your silence as a yes but if you break it I will eat you." I threaten the baby.
I take a deep breath and begin to change the baby's diaper. I grimace and look away when I take it's pants off. I use magic to clean him and manually put a clean diaper on him like I've seen Killian do numerous times.
"Ew!" I whine and burn the diaper. I use a shield to keep the smoke and ashes from going near the child. After the diaper turns into ash they disappear from the shield. "You should be grateful little Kin. Do you know how hard it is to make a shield? No, well I just meditated and used it on you." I huff and pout.
"Kin?"
