A few days pass and Ren and I are still avoiding each other.
I specifically go out when I hear that Ren's in his room or playing in the games room. Sometimes I'd even stay up late so that I can play in the games room while he's asleep. I'm such a genius.
I'm in my room playing a fighting game on my phone when I hear Ren get up from his bedroom. I continue playing my game until I hear the door shut. I jump off my bed and run down the stairs to check if he's actually gone. When I see that he's walking into the elevator I let out a small squeal.
"I've got the house to myself. Ain't having it any other way." I sing totally making the words up. I'm so multi-talented.
I run to the couch and turn on the TV. I change the channel to catch up on my show which is meant for children. I am a child at heart.
A few hours go by and I start to worry since Ren hasn't came home yet and I can't smell him. "Lion." I call out.
Lion appears from my ring. "What can I do for you?" She asks.
"Find Ren." I say. She pouts. "Please." I add.
"Since you said it so nicely." Lion says before disappearing.
A few seconds later something clicks in the door. I stand up and walk towards.
"My god. You're finally back. I thought something bad happened..." My sentence fades away. I stand petrified by the smiling person in front of me.
"Glad to see a warm welcome." Chandler Jones smiles but to me it looks vicious.
"How did you find me?" I ask grabbing the frying pan on the counter of the kitchen.
"You shouldn't have followed your gut." Chandler says looking at my stomach.
"Are you saying I'm fat?" I ask angry. I'm as skinny as a twig. How dare you!
"No. Just that for a small thing you sure eat a lot." Chandler chuckles.
"And yet for someone who doesn't eat a lot you sure are fat." I mutter but he hears loud and clear.
Chandler puts on a scowl. "You stole something from me. I want it back."
"You stole it first and haven't you ever heard the term 'finders keepers losers weepers'?" I smile at him.
"Where are they?" Chandler asks obviously talking about the car.
"They are drifting in the ocean." I answer thinking he's talking about his people.
"Where's the cars?!" Chandler roars grabbing onto my shoulders.
"They're.... not telling."
"Tell me!" Chandler shakes my shoulders.
"In the water." I reply honestly since the cars were placed in a secret room underneath a swimming pool.
Chandler pushes me into the counter which I hit his head with the frying pan. He steps back a bit but seeing an opportunity I hit his cheek with the frying pan creating a loud 'slap'! Chandler looks me in the eyes which I smile. Bad choice when facing a hunter. He pulls out a baseball bat thingy which I've seen in documentaries caveman use it.
"Damn you're so ancient." I hop up onto the counter and laugh.
Chandler swings his bat at me and to evade it, I roll backwards on the counter. I place my hands on the counter and using all my weight (which isn't much) I push off. My feet hit Chandler directly in his abdomen making him fall to the ground and cough up blood but he doesn't stay down for long.
He grabs my ankle and pulls me to the ground before turning us around and caging me in his arms.
I giggle cutely. "I always knew I was pretty but isn't this a bit too fast?"
Chandler barfs and groans as I pull my knee up and kick him accurately between his legs. I flip us over and sit on his abdomen.
"I don't think this is meant to be." I say dramatically placing my hand on my forehead and pretending to cry.
Chandler grabs the frying pan on the ground and smashes it on my head but the frying pan dents and I don't feel anything except a tickle. Rookie's mistake for the both of us. I spoke too soon. The bat comes back into his hands and he smashes it down onto my head. I fall back holding my head from the pain.
Damn hunter weapons!
Astrid takes over and which I let her. My eyes go dark purple and she immediately kicks Chandler off of us since he took the chance to grab us when we were swapping.
He moves back in shock before grabbing a nearby chair and throwing it at us. We dodge and pin him to the couch in a matter of seconds but before we can do anything something hits us in the back of the head but something also pierces our stomach from the front. I take control and look down at my stomach to see Chandler's hand inside.
I tilt my head before the pain gets me and I slide off of Chandler and onto the floor.
"Ow!" I groan holding my stomach.
Chandler slowly sits up and wipes his hand from the blood. "Never think you've won." He spits.
I look at him. "Same to you." I say before my wound heals and flip the couch. I grab his bat and hit him a few times with it. "How does it feel?" I ask hitting his head. I kick him into the wall beside the TV.
"Great but it's a bit ticklish." He stands up and grabs the TV. He hurls it at me which I duck. He takes this time to use his hunter speed which is faster than a werewolves to lunge at me.
We topple over the couch and land on the floor. I kick him off me but he keeps a firm grip on my hand and throws me to the stairs. I collide with them bringing the stairs down along with Asra who heard the commotion.
Asra runs towards Chandler and she jumps at him while her body grows bigger and by the time she bites onto his arm she's the size of a grizzly bear. Chandler shrieks in pain before throwing Asra into the wall beside me.
I stand up and heal her before Chandler grabs my by the hair. I twist my body around, grab his leg and reach up to grab the collar of his shirt. I pull down making him fall to the ground. He hisses when his nose broke his fall and is now bleeding. He turns around and grabs my waist. He throws me behind him.
My eyes widen in horror when knowing where he threw me.
Crash!
