"F*ck!" I curse and kick the nearest pole which I maybe shouldn't have. The cement pole collapses from the kick and my foot hurts from the impact.
Asra howls sadly when she lost the person and it's scent.
"It's not your fault, girl. The person is clearly a supernatural." I pat her head in reassurance.
She walks around my legs making me unable to move which I pat her head and she releases me. I teleport us back to the apartment and flop onto the couch.
"You didn't get the person?" Theodore asks, unpacking groceries.
"No. He was too fast for Asra and he retracted his scent so that he wouldn't be smelt." I groan in frustration. "Where's Ren?"
"He's upstairs once we came back he unpacked the cold foods before retreating to his room. He's probably thinking about what happened today."
"See I just knew it was a bad idea to leave him behind. Kiyoshi should have took him too." I say.
"So you think I can't handle the pressure?" Ren's voice sounds from the stairs.
I look up to see him with a blank look on his face. "Exactly. You haven't gone through with proper training."
"So your training doesn't count as proper training?"
"Yes. My training doesn't count as training instead it's kinder garden teaching." I say. "I've had to hold back so many times." I groan.
"So why don't you come at me without holding back?" Ren suggests his voice rising in anger.
"If I did that you would be dead." I sit up and stare at him coldly. "You're not ready for an actual battle."
"How can I be when I haven't tried because the person teaching me thinks I'm a weak and vulnerable child?!" Ren shouts.
[Disrespect] Astrid growls inside my head.
"That's exactly what I think." I nod my head. "You are weak. You are vulnerable. You haven't been trained like us and if you want someone to blame. BLAME KIYOSHI!!!" I growl.
"Adira." Theodore warns.
"I'm not blaming you!"
"Really? Because it sure hell sounds like it."
"So what if I blame you for not teaching me because it's true. You aren't training me. You trained the Blackwell children better than you trained me!" Ren shouts.
"Don't you dare bring the Blackwell children into this and for your information the Blackwell children are angels and demons not a long life human."
"See you think I'm weak!" Ren shouts pointing his finger at me.
Astrid screeches loudly inside my head at his hand. Before she can try and take over my body I teleport behind Ren and kick him.
Ren falls down the stairs and stops once he collides with the wall. He looks up at me in shock.
"You wanted a fight. That's a fight. Don't expect any opponent to fight fair because fighting in the real life is full of dirty tricks and if we were to swap bodies for a day you would kill my body in a matter of seconds because you are weak and vulnerable." I hiss. I turn around and walk into my room and slam the door shut.
Asra howls and follows. She growls at Ren when she passes before opening my door and shutting it.
"Never ever disrespect a phoenix especially if the phoenix is a Yukimura." Theodore gives Ren advice. "All Yukimura's have bad tempers but being from that family it's reasonable." He mutters leaving the apartment.
Ren still lays on the floor looking shocked. He finally picks himself up and walks to his room, also slamming the door shut.

I sit at my table and look at the folders on my desk. "Junior."
Junior appears. "Yes Senior."
"Find out who Asra was barking at." I order.
"Yes." Junior takes the mission and disappears.
I pull out my phone and call Reiji who's still staying with Nicholas. "Watch your back." I warn him.
"Something wrong?" Reiji asks concerned.
"Someone caught Asra's attention." I sigh.
I sense Reiji nod. "Be careful." He warns me.
"I'm always careful." I innocently say making both of us laugh.
"Do you want to me to tell Little Mister?" Reiji asks using his nickname for Orion.
"No. Oreo should only worry about the company so don't tell him. Please." I add at the end.
Reiji chuckles. "Okay. Remember you still have Ocean and Lion to protect you and you can call for more animals at anytime. I'll go back and grab them."
"Thanks Reiji but I'm alright. I have Asra and Astrid which are more than enough animals."
Astrid scoffs in my head. [Animal! I'm no animal! I'm a phoenix. A majestic mythical creature not an animal]
"Okay. I have to go. Nicholas is calling me." Reiji says.
"Don't tell him either." I quickly say.
"Didn't even cross my mind to tell him the truth but I was going to remind him to keep his guard up." Reiji chuckles.
"Okay. Bye, bye Reiji." I say.
"Bye, bye Little Missy." Reiji says hanging up.
I quickly go through the folders and correct the mistakes before sending it via spirit mail which is just summoning a mail spirit to deliver it to Junior when he goes back to the office.
I cook a basic vegetable stir fry and going for a quick shower afterwards. I lay down on my bed and look through the Myth's family chat with everyone in it.
I find out that Kiara and Kailey have gone back to Mura castle but the others haven't. Aunt Lumi's youngest daughter got another tooth pulled out after fighting with the Woods Brothers. Aria's siblings have had a scolding by Master Bai for changing the castle's temperature.
I put my phone on the charger and turn the lights off without leaving the comfort of my bed.
"Night Asra." I tell her patting her head.
She howls softly in response and puts her head on my stomach.
Just when I'm about to doze off a huge crash sounds making Asra and I jump to our feet. I walk out my room and open Ren's room without knocking.
"Go to sle- What the hell did you do?" I shout in surprise when seeing his face through the wall between his and the room next door (thankfully I don't have the room right next door).
"Why didn't you knock?" He asks angry from not having privacy.
"Since you decided to throw your head through the damn wall." I say not minding his tone. I look around the room to find his chair tipped over. "Not weak and vulnerable he said. Ready for a battle he said. But he can't even beat a wooden chair."
"Don't laugh. It's not funny." Ren grumbles.
"No it's not funny. It's hilarious. Stay still." I command him. I go back into my room and grab my phone before going to into the middle room. "Cheese." I say smiling. I take a picture and send it to the family group chat #Epicfail laughing emoji.
I finally turn back to Ren and push his head through the wall. I fix the wall with a wave of my hand and go back to my room to sleep with hearing Ren cursing.
