I'm sneaking down the dark hallways of the hospital and have to admit it's spooky with the white walls and moonlight shining here and there. I'm just anticipating a ghost jumping out in front of me but thankfully none show up.
I open the door which I feel Ren and Daniel's presence in since they share a room. The first thing I see is a creepy Daniel.
"Well, well, well. Adira." He says. He sits cross-legged on the sofa by the backwall. He stares straight at me with deep black eyes with a murderous look within.
I frown when I see that he has vampire eyes. "What happened?"
"I got nearly blown up is what happened." Daniel sighs, eyes turning back to the chocolate brown.
I nod and sit on his bed. I glance at Ren to see that he's recovering from his minor injuries. I look back at Daniel when he coughs. He raises a questioning eyebrow. "Grey Owl and Fox."
Daniel nods.
I only knew that Toshio was Grey Owl when Daniel pointed out his dirty fighting technique but I was the one to find Fox all on my own when I was going to the toilet.
"Both of their bodies have been found an hour ago by Diana and Darcy. They have gotten rid of the bodies and didn't raise any suspicion. The Blue Woods pack and that other pack have been massacred just 5 minutes ago by Oreo and the girls."
Daniel nods before getting serious. "You're now in hiding so don't kill anyone else, it might blow your cover. If your cover is blown you, the Blackwell's and us will all be put in a messy fight which they are not ready for. You also have severely pissed the elders families off by killing them and making their grandchildren replace them all except one. But even though she might not be pissed she still poses at threat."
"Junior is currently keeping an eye on all the elders old or young. And as of now I am in full rogue mode as of Edith's words." I stare him in the eyes while saying.
Daniel nods. "It's getting late. You should go back." He stands up which I get up and walk to the door. I open it and step out when I hear his voice. "Aito's funeral is going to happen in four days."
I turn back and look at him. I slowly bow 90 degrees. I then stand straight and march back to my room which is soooooo far away.
I open the door and sit down on the small couch in the corner. I look at the pure white walls and tiles on the ground. This place reminds me of the cell that Henry used to lock Orion and I up in and would only let us out if chores were to be done or Bethany and Brittany wanted to be b*tches and rub it in my face that I'm powerless.
"Senior." Junior appears on the hospital bed.
I look over at him "Did you find it?"
"Yes." Junior puts a folder on the bed. I stand up and walk towards him. "Henry and Bethany are involved."
I pause for a second before smiling coldy. "You know what to do." I tell him and grab the folder.
"Don't you think that tarnishing his image is a bit too extreme since your brothers live with him? This will stain their image."
"I asked for their permission and they're happy to comply with my actions. And do you really think that I would tarnish Henry's and Bethany's reputation without having a plan to save my brothers'?" I raise my eyebrow while asking.
"Of course not although you don't show it that often but you dote on all your brothers even Dexter." Junior shakes his head.
"How is everything with you?" I ask him while taking a seat.
"The same. If I'm not helping you run errands than I'm working or spending time in Renata's purple mountains." Junior says pulling purple dirt out from his pocket. "Purple mountain's have gotten even more brighter than ever before."
"Mhm." I hum in agreement. "That reminds me, how is the new elders doing?"
Junior looks up from the dirt shocked by this question. He lowers his head while remembering. "They have grown really angry ever since you killed their grandparents but with Edith watching over them like a hawk they don't dare to stupidly act out instead they are likely to be planning a secret rebellion with their families."
"If they do that just kill them and appoint new elders but this time let Master Bai choose. We don't want elders like the last one who always wanted power."
"Wouldn't having timid elders be more troublesome?" Junior asks. Although he has been around for a few hundred years and knows what everyone's thinking Master Bai is different and likes to keep to himself. Sometimes even I don't know what he's thinking.
"Just wait and you'll see."
"Okay." Junior nods. A ding sounds in the air and he checks his watch. "Goodnight Senior." He says before disappearing to do a different errand.
I quickly look at the folder to see lots of photos before closing it and setting it onto the bedside table. I then lay down and send a message to a group chat before closing my eyes and falling into a light sleep.
