A few days later.
I wake up and take a shower before wrapping a towel around me and standing at the end of my hospital bed which has clothes sprawled on it.
"Uh." I sigh, grabbing the clothes and slipping them on. I turn around and look at the full body mirror which someone brought in last night despite the door being locked. It was probably Nicholas or Daniel but I take no chances and clean the clothes using magic.
I stand there with a tight fitting tank top in the color of black. Over it is a black leather jacket embroidered on it is a blue spirit stone since Aitos' mother is from the water goddesses. I'm actually wearing a small, black pleated skirt which stops just below mid-thigh. I wear black heel boots with silver spikes embedded on them and black leggings since I don't want anyone to see my panties if the wind blows. To show respect I have apple red streaks in my hair and a blue spirit flower.
The door opens and Daniel walks in. "Are you ready?" He asks. I look over at him to see that he's wearing a long black velvet coat which brings out his black eyes and paper white skin despite having a love for the sun. The coat is what every vampire has to wear for any funeral it shows respect to the ancestors and to the deceased person. He wears black pants and boots and also has a blue spirit flower but in his pants pocket.
I nod and follow him out of the hospital and into a black rolls Royce phantom which the other three are already standing beside. Daniel sits in the driver seat and I sit in the middle back seat since the boys can't all fit. Ren sits in the passenger sit and the twins sit on either side of me.
"Sniff!" Ren and the twins are already on the verge of crying and by looking at their eyes I can tell that they've already.
"Don't worry just think of this funeral as we are sending him off to university." I say trying to cheer them up.
"Easy for you to say. You're not even crying despite being friends." Quasar snaps a few tears escaping.
'Humans are so emotionally unstable' I think but don't dare voice it out in case one of them dobs me in to my brothers. "Darling I didn't even cry for my birth mother and siblings death despite watching them die."
"Tut, tut, tut!" Daniel voices at Quasar knowing that he f*cked up.
"I didn't even cry when I was getting whipped or burned by boiling oil." I smile maliciously. "Life goes on either way. We all are born into this world to die!" I hiss venomously.
Quasar shivers by my tone since I directed all the venom words at him.
"You should've kept your mouth shut." Daniel scolds him quietly.
No one says anything and we arrive at the cemetery which already has a few cars parked and people talking.
We hop out of the car and walk up to the security guard which Aitos' mother hired to keep outsiders out. We flash him a invitation and walk between graves before reaching a huge hole and a glass casket (a bit too extravagant seeing as he can't see it and it's a waste of money).
Inside the casket is Aito in a dark blue suit looking clean and healthy but we know that underneath would be a nasty wound.
A woman with stunning silky, long, black hair and the darkest blue eyes that I have ever seen walks towards the casket. The woman's clothes look exactly like a raging ocean which is actually her water element reflecting what she's feeling.
The woman has a tinge of redness around her eyes from crying. She carries blue spirit flowers in her hands. She lays them down beside Aitos' body before looking around. Our eyes lock and she storms over.
Slap!
I look down knowing that this was coming towards me.
"Why did you kill him? He wasn't even 17, he had three more years to go!" Kakichima yells. "You and your family are all the same killing his father and now him. Why can't you just leave the glitches alone?"
"Madam glitches hold tremendous power which can destroy everything in their path and I didn't kill him we were all attacked when we went to the competition. I would've saved him if he wasn't a glitch so he was destined to die anyway." I say and place my spirit flower in her hands. "I'm sorry for your lost. I really am. If you'll excuse me."
I start to walk back to the rolls Royce since I don't want Aito's funeral to be ruined by me.
"You do know that Adira was so devastated when she found out that Aito was a glitch that she couldn't heal him. Adira and Aito had something in common." Daniel says which surprises Kakichima. "They are both glitches." He says handing her his flower and walking away.
"Rest in peace." Quantum, Quasar and Ren do the same and walks back to the car.
"Are you really not going to see him off?" Ren asks.
"No but you can go." I tell him from the drivers seat.
Daniel looks at me and nods. "Let's go and watch the funeral from a distance." He says and drags Ren away by the collar seeing as he wasn't moving.
"Bye." I wave and start the engine. I grab an earring from my ring and put it in one of my piercings which I haven't used for months. "Lance do you-?" I start.
"Yes we have successfully got Blue Woods and Janus pack's land." Lance cuts in knowing what I wanted to ask.
"Okay." I nod and continue driving.
"How was the funeral?" He asks.
"I went then met Kakichima and got slapped."
"Damn! What are you going to do about it?"
"Let it be. Edith killed her husband so it's only natural that she thinks I killed her son."
"Don't worry Adi everything is under control here well except for the fox's and my sisters." Lance sighs through the earring.
"Why what's wrong?" I ask.
"They are running everywhere in their animal forms, leaving fur everywhere and knocking things over." Lance grumbles.
"That's to be expected since they should have a good connection with their other half."
"Yes but they shift inside and the fox boys and my brothers aren't helping by playing chase with them."
"Just smash one of the aunt Lumi's plates and blame it on them. That'll surely kick him out." I suggest.
"Good idea. Now do you want to keep both pack houses or demolish them?" He asks switching the subject back onto the packs.
"Um.... whatever you see fit since I don't need the land and I thought that you would like to expand your pack." I tell him.
"Well the pack has gotten bigger and my brothers need to get a life so okay." Lance agrees while dissing his brothers. (The Woods came from America but Grandmother Woods migrated to Australia when Aunt Lumi was a toddler).
I nod and continue driving to somewhere. I look at the beautiful ocean and draw a star into the sand and sit in the middle of it.
