When school finishes Aito asks me to the school indoor pool to practice.
"Do I have to? I might turn into a mermaid if I touch water" I gasp at the thought.
"Why are you the competitor then?" Aito asks impatient.
"Because I'm an awesome swimmer" I give a direct answer.
Aito facepalms himself in frustration. "Just hop in the goddamn pool!" He raises his voice.
"I don't want to" I stand my ground firmly.
"You have to practice"
"I'm already an olympic stage swimmer why do I need to practice?"
"Olympic swimmers train everyday" Aito shouts.
"Well lucky I'm not an olympic swimmer" I shoot back.
"Just get in the pool"
"No"
"Yes"
"It's dirty. It's unhygienic"
"It's clean"
"It might not be. Do you clean it?" my voice is slightly above it's average tone.
Aito get so frustated that he pushes me into the pool.
"Yah!" I yell. I hang onto the diving boards like my life depends on it. My feet is the only thing that touches the water. "You haven't even got in yet and you dare try to push me in" I shout at him.
"HOW ARE YOU STILL HANGING ON?!?! Aito roars furious.
"I'm a natural athlete even when I try not to be" I tell the honest truth.
"Then practice"
"You practice. You're telling me to practice and yet you aren't practicing yourself. SUCH A HYPOCRITE!" I shout at him so even if someone was deaf they'd still hear.
"You want me to get in. Fine. I'll get in" Aito takes his t-shirt off an dives into the water in his black swimming trunks. Aito resurfaces and yells at me. "I'm in now, now you get in"
"No" I shake my head still hanging onto the diving board.
"Fine your choice" Aito swims towards me and grab my feet trying to pull me into the water.
"Let go" I snap at him. Aito looks shocked at first but continues pulling my feet. "Fine then don't blame me for being rude Aito Abe. HELP MOLESTER!! PERVERT!!" I yell sounding scared.
"Eh?!?" Aito lets go of my feet.
Ren, Daniel, Quantum and Quasar burst through the door.
"Where's the pervert? I'll kill him" Daniel rolls up his sleeve getting ready for a fight.
"See I warned you to let go of my feet" I look at Aito smugly.
"You lied" He shouts.
"Meh. To you I might have lied but to other people they'd think you have a foot fetish" I climb onto the diving board.
"Foot fetish" Aito shivers in disgust at the thought. "That's even more unhygienic than the swimming pool."
"See you just admitted that the swimming pool is unhygienic" I point my finger at him in glee.
"I didn't mean it. It's just a metaphor" Aito denies.
"I've never heard that metaphor"
"So I take it there is no pervert" Daniel shoulders slouch in disappointment.
"There's no pervert."
"So why were you screaming?" Quantum asks mad that he wasted time.
"He tried to push me into the dirty and unhygienic pool" I blame Aito.
"Pushing Adira into the pool is the worst mistake you could possibly make" Daniel gets goosebumps remembering when a child once pushed me into a public pool.
"Why what'll happen?" Quasar asks curious.
"It won't end well" Daniel shakes his head.
"Why aren't you and Ren friends? You two are just as curious and nosy as each other" I say.
"Well, family isn't on good terms" Quasars says.
"You mean the gang"
"Yes" Quasar says before realizing what he said. He puts his hand over his mouth.
"When did you know?" Quantum asks.
"When Quasar introduced his name" I admit. "Some of my connections is an old friend of your mother."
"Really who?" Quasar asks.
"Koharu"
"That's aunty" Quatum and Quasar gasp. "Who are you?" They ask in amazement.
"A small cute 16 year old girl named Adira Blackwell" I say smartly.
"Argh!" the 4 boys groan and walk out of the pool.
"Now that the distractions are gone. Get in!" Aito yells at me.
"But like you said before the pool is unhygnic.
"Why did Teacher Ito choose you as the female swimmer?" Aito asks to himself which I manage to hear.
"Have you ever watched one of Daniel's races?" I ask.
"Yes I've seen his track and swimming races before" Aito snaps.
"I was the one who taught him how to swim"
Aito doesn't believe me. "Prove it."
"Fine now that you've stayed in long enough I'll show you how awesome I am" I say. When chatting with Aito I was using the water element to seperate the dirty water and the clean water. I crouch on the board and lean forward in a slow and gentle dive. I start free style at my own pace.
"That's really nothing" Aito says when I've done 200 meters.
"Well I did show you that I can swim" I hop out of the pool and get changed back into my school uniform.
I walkout leaving Aito alone in the pool building. I hang my swimsuit on the piece of rope strung across for wet clothes. I then go to the field where Ren, Quantum, Quasar and Daniel are practicing relay as we're in the red team with class 1-8.
"Why don't you join us Adira?" Daniel asks when they stop for a short break.
"I'd rather not" I say disgusted by the smell of sweat. "I heard that you 3 are going to do some tricks after the cheerings."
"Yes" Quasar says. "I'm awesome at doing flips." Quasar demonstrates with a nice backflip.
"That's good... for a begginner" I tell him.
"If you think you could do better then go ahead" Quasar huffs.
"Well don't mind if I do" I walk onto the field and do a few warm up exercises.
"Hurry up" Aito voices. He stands in front of me with wet hair.
"Stay at least 10 meters away" I tuck my shirt into my pants. I then look straight ahead with fierce eyes. I take a a few steps before peforming a perfect roundoff backflip 360.
"Wow. So you really are an Ulitmate master" Ren gasps.
"Daniel don't you have to flip from one side to the other?" I ask.
"Yes" Daniel says. "You should do it with me" He whines.
I smile. "No." I untuck my white shirt and go back to watching them.
I look at the group of 5 and think to myself.
