I fall asleep and Killian does the same after a while.
Killian and I both wake up at 3:30, we get changed and run. We take Asra, Thunder and the 2 large dogs with us. We make it back at 4:30 and start preparing breakfast. We wake everyone up at 5:30 to exercise and practice. At 5:50 everyone sits down to eat. 5:59 they start getting ready for school and at 6:30 we start making our way to school.
"Bye" I wave good-bye to the Blackwell's before running to the sweets shop.
I buy a slice of chocolate cake and buy a small carton of chocolate milk to go with it. When I make it to school lots of people stare at me but I ignore them since I grew up with people staring at me. I walk to my classroom and take a seat in my desk.
"What happened to your eye?" Ren's voice comes behind me.
Ignored.
"What did you do last night to make your eye like that?" Ren asks getting annoyed that I'm ignoring him.
The teacher walks in and class starts. Ren sleeps and I take notes. When classes is over and lunch starts I walk out of the class and to the back building. I see both Quasar and his twin there.
"What happened to your eye?" Quasar asks when he sees my face.
"Nothing" I answer while jumping over the fence.
"So how did you two happen to know each other?" Quasar's twin brother asks.
"We met yesterday" Quasar says while jumping over the fence.
"Oh and now you're skipping school with her?" the twin brother says.
"We're not skipping school, we're just going to get lunch and we get back before classes start" Quasar says to his brother.
"Well you can stay here and chit-chat but I'm going" I say.
"Chikara what are you doing?" Ren's voice shouts.
"Nothing that concerns you" I answer with sass.
"Do you even know who they are?" Ren asks.
"Nope but unlike you they don't ask unnecessary questions" I answer while walking away.
"Chikara I'll tell the bosses" Ren threatens.
"They can only control me because I've known them for over a decade. Have we known each other for a decade??" I ask.
"No" Ren says.
"Well then I guess I have to go" I say.
"Do you know him?" Quasar asks when we're out of Ren's shouting distance.
"Friend of a friend" I answer.
"He works with gangs" Quasar's twin brother says.
"At least he doesn't smoke" I say coldly.
"Who smokes?" Quasar asks.
"Your brother" I asnwer while walking up to a food stall and ordering.
"You smoke Quantum?" Quasar asks his brother.
"Wait his name is Quantum?" I ask.
"Yes"
"Ha. Well doesn't your parents love science" I am shocked.
"Wait you said he was my brother. I never told you I had a brother, so how did you know?" Quasar asks.
"I saw your tattoos. And you say he works for gangs, I say you own a gang" I say under my breath. We walk back to school in which Ren is still near the fence.
"Just tell me what happened to your eye and I'll leave you alone" Ren offers.
"No"
"I know you went with the bosses because when I showed up to work people told me that they left and then before you came back they showed up"
"I'm not telling you. Like I said yesterday you don't know me" I coldly say while looking at him. "Now leave me alone."
"He just said the bosses so let me guess your friends with the people who are the bosses" Quantum says.
"Class is starting" I walk to my class with Ren hot on my heels. I turn around to look at him and say fiercly "We've only known each other for less than a week so stop acting like you're a friend or someone I need to inform everything that happens because to me. You are nothing more than someone who has been told to watch over me at school."
We walk into class and don't talk for the rest of the day. When I am walking home I see Teacher Ito holding 2 vanilla ice-creams. He walks up to me and hands me one.
"Had a rough day Chikara?" He asks.
"Isn't school supposed to be rough?" I ask while slowly eating the ice-cream.
"I heard you having an arguement with Yamashita-san" Teacher Ito says.
"So what? He asked about my private life and he is only supposed to worry about what happens at school not outside" I say with anger. I don't like someone who keeps asking even though I said it's fine.
"What happened because you can tell me Chikara?" Teacher Ito says with sadness and concern.
"I don't know" I answer him.
"Are you trying to block everyone out again?" Teacher Ito shakes my shoulders.
"I'm not trying to" I say allowing him to shake my shoulders.
"Then why aren't you telling me?" He shouts.
"Something is blocking me from talking to Oreo and I don't know where it's coming from and who it is" I say.
"What?! Someone's trying to stop you from contacting Orion?" Teacher Ito says with a pained expression. His hands go back to his side.
"Yes we were supposed to talk last night but he didn't pick up. Killian and the rest also tried calling him" I say while looking at the ground.
" I'll try to contact him" Teacher Ito says with determanation in his eyes.
"Even if you do try I bet someone will stop you once they hear you voice" I say while walking away.
Epstein Ito was the eldest child in the orphanage with his wife being the second. They know what I would do to save Orion even if it was horrible. Like how I burned down the orphanage.
"Try to clear things up with Yamashita-san" Teacher Ito calls out after me.
I wave a hand in the air saying good-bye. I walk to Damien's club. I walk into Theodore's office and see 4 people in there.
"I would have thought that your eye will be better seeing as you have a way with medicine" Damien says playfully mocking me.
"Yes because without my medicine knowledge you would have all been dead by now" I say the last part coldly.
"We heard from Ren that you two had a fight. Do you want to fill us in?" Theodore says with a poker face.
"He was asking how did I get the bruise on my eye. I told him I tripped, he didn't believe" I take a seat on the chair in front of the desk. All 3 of them look at each other with guilt in their eyes.
"Sorry" The trio says together.
"It's not your fault. I volountered for it so I'm partly to blame" I tell them.
"Adi let's go and try the new dish I made" Beatrix says while linking her arm in mine.
"Okay" I say. I stay for a fe hours before heading home and falling asleep.
