I go back to my room and get changed.
I change into my school uniform which is a long-sleeved white blouse and black blazer with a tie. I am supposed to wear skirt but I didn't like it so I brought the male school pants instead. Because the pants were too long I hacked some of the bottom off and sewed on a new hem. I fill a backpack with pencils, books and food.
I walk out of my room and into the bathroom. I brush my teeth and brush my hair. I walk out the bathroom and nearly collide with Kendra and the male twins Kayne and Kobi.
"Watch where you are going" I say to them.
"Adira you are not going to school with your hair like that. Are you?" Kala asks while tying Kendall's hair.
"What's wrong with my hair?" I ask.
"Wearing your hair down on the first day is a big no" Kailey says while brushing Kai's hair which needs a trim again.
"Then I will put it up in a ponytail" I say while gathering my jet black hair.
"No, no, no, no!" Killian says while grabbing my hands.
"Not you too!" I whine.
"You should listen to them" Killian says.
"Why? I just want my hair simple" I whine.
"Let Killian put your hair up" Kala says.
"But we have to go" I grumble.
"We can do it while we walk" Killian suggests.
"Fine" I agree. "Grab your things we're going." I shout.
"Okay" I hear nearly all of them reply.
"Bye" we all say to the 4 people who are staying.
"Bye" they respond.
I have a piece of toast in my mouth while the breakfast burrito in a plastic bag in my other hand. I slip my backpack on my back. I slip on my grey high tops and walk out of the house. I hear the door shutting at Ren's house and look over.
"You've got to be kidding me" Ren and I say loudly when we see each other.
"Hey look Adi you two go to the same school" Killian points out.
"F*ck" I say out loud. I whip out my phone and look up my contacts.
"She won't let you change, you know that right?" Killian says while placing his hand on my head.
"I might as well try and if that doesn't work I'll just threaten Orion" I say.
"You really are the best younger sister we could ask for Adi" Killian says while patting my head.
I suck in a deep breath trying to calm myself. "Okay let's go" I say while walking out the gate.
"So boss we are in the same school. Ha" Ren says haughtily.
"I guess we are, servant" I say with an evil smile. I conitnue walking in the direction of the subway.
"Hey wait up!" Ren shouts when I keep on walking. He runs out of his gate and catches up with his long legs.
"Adira can I do your hair now?" Killian asks.
"Sure but I only want 2 dutch braids" I say.
"Okay" Killian says while splitting my hair in two even sides.
"Having your older brother doing your hair because you're too lazy to. I assume" Ren says. "And what type of toast are you eating?" he asks.
"It's called vegemite and is loved by Australians. It is black and has a bitter taste so you won't like it" I say while biting into the toast.
We walk to the subway and get on the one that takes us in the direction of our schools.
"Why aren't you going to the same school?" Ren asks while looking at our uniforms.
"Because we want to do different things" Kian answers.
"Wouldn't that be expensive?" Ren asks another question.
"Not reallly" Kaena answers.
"Who are you?" Ren asks Kaena.
"I'm the one after Kian" Kaena responds. Although we have been living next door to each other for a few days we don't interact much.
"Oh and what about the others?" Ren asks.
"Kala, Kailey, Killian, me, Kian, Kaena, Kaelynn, Kendall, Kai, Kayne, Kobi, Kendra, Kennedy, Kolte and Kimberly" I say placing them in the order oldest to the youngest.
"Oldest to youngest" Killian says after I do.
"Oh" Ren responds before going quiet. We don't talk after that.
We reach our destination and get off after 25 minutes. I walk the ones younger than Kian to their school before quickly walking to mine. I arrive 30 minutes before the time.
"Good start to the day" I say while eating my breakfast burrito. I walk to the office to recieve my information. I get my infromation and see that I am in the class 1-4. "Cool" I say. I also get a key to a small cube at the front exit that's to change into another set of shoes. I go to the front exit and look for my locker. "Found it" I say when I finally find it.
"Did you hear a new sweet shop just opened." I over hear someone talking. My ears listen in on their conversation.
"Yes they have an amazing strawberry macaron" I hear someone else say.
"What was it called again. Um..."
"It was just called sweets, sweets and more sweets"
I close my locker and run out of the school. When I run past the teachers at the front they yell at me but I don't listen because my mind is too preoccupied by sweets. I find the sweet shop and walk through their door.
"Yum" I drool over the smell of sweets. i walk up to the counter and see dozens of different cakes. I look at the names of the cakes and find the strawberry macaron which the people were talking about. I order three and walk out of the shop.
"Excuse me" I hear someone say behind me. I ignore it because I don't know that voice. I sense a hand is coming towards me so I step to the side and someone falls onto the ground.
"Are you alright?" I ask politely.
"Um.. yes" the person stands up and dusts the dirt off of his clothes. I see that he is wearing the school uniform for my school. The boy is considered handsome is about 6 feet tall and has dark brown hair and blue eyes. Slim. Tall. Handsome. Blue eyes. What most girls are into.
'Must be a playboy' I say to Astrid who hasn't spoken much since we moved out of Mura castle.
'Yup' She responds. 'You're going to be late if you don't leave now' she reminds me.
'Thanks' I thank her.
"Sorry but I have to go" I say while walking off.
"Ah... wait. Um they just sold out of strawberry macrons and I saw that you just brought three" The boy says.
"So?" I ask.
"Can I have one?" He asks.
"What?!"
"I said can I have one?" He repeats his question.
"Are you going to pay?" I ask him.
"Huh? Oh yeah sure" He answers while pulling out his wallet.
"Sorry but I really have to go so I will take this and you can have this" I say while taking his money and giving him a macaron.
"Thanks" I hear him say but I have already started running away.
"I made it" I say when I arrive at the class 1-4 just when the teacher has rounded the corner. I bow to the teacher who is a male.
