We stop after an hour for a break before dragging out martial arts equipment. We start perfecting our offense and defense together. We practice for 4 hours or so before stopping because the mat is getting too wet from our sweat. By the end we are all exhausted.
The reason why we practice so hard is of a number of reasons but the main one is that we are always the front line if we ever get attacked. Like at the cemetery we were the only ones fighting because we are the strongest people in Mura castle.
I look at my watch and see that it is only 10am. "Hey we should go for a swim to cool off" I suggest to my friends. They nod at my words.
We look at each other before dashing out the door at full speed. We take the stairs down to the ground floor and sprint out of the front door. As soon we are out Lance shifts into a 12 foot wolf so that he can be faster.
"That's not fair" Aria yells. In response Lance sprints faster on all fours.
I close my eyes before opening them to show them glowing in a dark purple light. I was keeping my black hair but now that I am using a bit of my phoenix powers my bright red hair grows to it's full length which is touches the ground. My speed increases and I pass Lance with my red hair flowing behind me. The small moat turns into a big river and in minutes I can see the end of the river.
I increase my pace and jump off the edge of the cliff.
"Ahh" I scream while plunging down. I am having too much fun. I turn my body in midair to go into the diving position, seconds later I crash into the water with a small splash.
I swim to the bottom of the lake to wait for the others. 10 seconds later I see a huge shadow falling into the water. The shadow crashes into the water creating huge ripples. I see that the shadow is Lance in his wolf form.
He changes back into his human form and also swims to the bottom of the lake. Lance brang a spare pants to change into so that he isn't naked. When he is in arms-length I put my hands over his mouth and soon an air bubble emerges in the palm of my hand. The air bubble can just cover Lance's mouth and noise which allows him to breath.
We wait until Killian and Atasi jumps down and so now we are only waiting for Aria. She was seconds behind KiKi and Yes, so it only takes seconds for her to dive into the lake. We swim to the surface of the lake to breath fresh air. We stay and play in the lake for 15 minutes until we trudge to the banks and lay down not caring if dirt sticks to our backs.
I look at the 4 wonderful people that I call my friends. I just can't imagine leaving them just for going to a public school. I think of the good and bad memories I have with them. A bright smile blooms on my face by just looking at them.
"What's wrong?" Aria who is on my right asks when she notices my smile.
"I am just thinking how can I ever leave you behind just to go to some school in for who-knows-where" I speak what is on my mind.
"If you ever choose to go to school you could always bring us with you" Atasi says calmly.
"But if I do leave and take you with me who will look after Orion in Tokyo?" I say.
"You could just take one of us" Lance comments.
"But will you be able to choose!!?" Killian speaks like he is a hosting a game show.
"Well I'm not going" Atasi declares.
We all sit up and stare at her and ask "Why."
"I can't bear to leave my family. Even if you could take a whole family with you I still wouldn't go because Papi and Ma are training all year round" Atasi speaks honestly.
"That is true" We murmur.
"Well then now that you said that I can't either" Aria says. We all look at her now. "Well with designing and training I am busy. I also have to look after my younger siblings who wouldn't be able to go anywhere without taking their pets. Mom and Dad can't leave the cafe either."
"If I went with you it would be weird seeing as I have many older brothers" Lance says in deep thought.
I nod at their words. They are absolutely right if I choose to leave I can't take any of them seeing as they have their own lives.
"Well..... I don't mind. I mean if you don't mind that Mum is pregnant then we would be happy to go" Killian volunteers.
"Really" my eyes start shining.
"Well.. yeah. All the twins want a break from modeling and Mum is pregnant so she should rest" Killian says.
"But do you really think I should go?" I ask them concerned about their opinions.
"You could meet your soulmate if you're lucky" Aria nudges my shoulder while she jokes.
"Impossible. Adi doesn't have a soulmate. She's a glitch remember" Lance speaks up and said the truth.
"Well she could still fall in love!" Aria kicks Lance with her foot for being too truthful.
"Exactly" Killian and Atasi backs her up.
I shake my head at what they are talking about. "As if I am going to fall in love. Ha! If that ever happens I will stop eating pineapple" I declare.
"You don't even eat pineapple" They refute.
"..."
"Talk to Master Bai and Orion they should have a say too" Atasi says proudly.
"You're right, At" we all praise her.
"I'm feeling uncomfortable with being wet and muddy" Aria whines. We nod our heads in agreement.
We jump back into the lake to wash the dirt of our backs and walk up the brick path. We reach the castle where we split up and change out of our fitness clothes.
I return to my room and change into a hipster outfit. After I am done changing I go to find Orion.
I find him in his office sorting through information about his artists in Starlight Entertainment. A company which he built and has been running for 3 years. I move across the room before sitting on the end of his desk.
"Something I can help you with Deer?" Orion says not looking up from the paper.
"There is actually" I respond while peeping at the contents on the paper. I catch a glimpse of a photo with a woman and a man which is blurred.
"Okay what is it?" Orion lifts his gaze to meet my eyes.
"First let's call Master Bai over so that I don't have to say this twice" I suggest.
I pick up the phone on Orion's desk and dial Master Bai's number. I tell him that I have something important to tell him. I hang up the phone and look at Orion who is examining my face probably to figure out what I want to tell him. Luckily he can't read minds.
Whoosh!
Master Bai enters through the window. He takes a seat on the sofa and looks at Orion and I with a cold gaze. Master Bai doesn't like Orion. He thinks that Orion doesn't do much or something like that I kind of stopped listening after he said he doesn't like my brother.
"What did you call me here for?" Master Bai says sternly. If I didn't know that he was such a child I would've probably labeled him as a block of ice.
"It's about the school thing" I speak cautiously.
