Chapter 20 - Chapter 20

M. held a file of a Chinese woman. While M. drank from a cup of coffee, I had looked at her file in detail. Xe Mu, twenty-five years old, studied at Peking University. She had an older sister named Xe Cu. She died on the day of the collapse of the house. Her ability was to travel through time and space. Xe Mu can create illusions. "Are there people who are near them?" I disturbed him while drinking. "The cleaning lady who works in the women's building should have the best access." "When she's in class?" "Then a professor?" he replied. He gave me the file of the cleaning lady: Martenz-Paradez and a Mr. Wong, a professor of European works of art. The longer I was used to jumping out of my skin. I looked at the professor, I could imagine him, when I closed my eyes, I heard voices in my environment. I opened my eyes, looked around me to find that I was in the teacher's room. I felt uncomfortable. I wore his typical classic dresses. Especially the tie, which was too tight, suffocated me. When I heard footsteps behind me, I turned to the professor who wanted to go through. "Excuse me," I asked him in English. He looked at me confused. He probably wasn't used to that. "Where is Xe Mu?" "I don't think they have a class anymore. Maybe at home." I thanked him before he disappeared. As soon as he was out of sight, I went out to the corridor, where I quickly got to the stairs. Students greeted me when I had almost made it, a woman called for me. "Mr. Wong, I have to discuss something with you," she looked around to be on the safe side. It was an older woman standing in front of me. "You want to explain to me why I got an insufficient grade for a written work?" «Not now!» I didn't know what to say, I wasn't Professor Wong. "Next time, I'll explain your mistakes to you. I don't have time now," I turned around and ran outside, where I saw two monotonous houses. At one exit only women ran and at the other only men. I was approaching the women's entrance when a female guard stopped me. "Only women are allowed here." As she approached me, I looked for another person I could own. Out of nowhere, a cleaning trolley from Martenz-Paradez came out of a lift. Within seconds, I opened my eyes where I was holding a rag in my hands. Mr. Wong stood opposite me wondering what he was doing here. With her cleaning column I returned to the elevator. With one of my locks, I opened the door to the elevator that took me to the first floor. I asked a group of students who were walking past me which room Xe Mu was in. She stood, silent because they didn't know it, until someone announced that she was on the third floor. Probably the rearmost door on the right. Without taking a look at me, they turned away from me. How arrogant and naïve. I limped back to the lift in her overweight body, pressed the button that led me to the third floor. I crossed the corridor to the last door on the right, where I knocked. On the way, I wondered how Martenz Paradez could cope with this overweight. It took a while for a woman with green-brown eyes, back-length brown blond hair with a gray sweater to open the door. She had shorter blue pants and pink half-perforated socks. I asked her if Xe Mu lived in this room. She nodded, but went shopping. "Should I say her when she come back?" she wanted to know. "Not necessary. I'll let her know myself." Xe Mu ran back from a store, took out her keys, and entered. "Hi, Gabi," she greeted her friend, not knowing that I had owned her, right after I said the last sentence of the cleaning lady, I stood at the next eye opening Paradez, who asked me what she wanted from me. I replied, "It's nothing," I slowly closed the door. I sat at her work table, which was not far from the door. I had to act when I scribbled their task. I couldn't do anything else in her body. She was too thin as a board, no breasts, no ass cheeks, until Xe Mu came, her things she bought was on the kitchen table behind me and went into the shower. Slowly I got up, took a kitchen knife, with which I ran into the bathroom. Hot water ran over her naked body as I raised her curtain. She didn't scream at all, so I murdered her in cold blood, at least that's what I believed, because when I ran out of the bathroom, someone tried to suffocate me with a bath towel. My knife fell to the ground, with this person throwing out of the bathroom. I tried to hit the person with my elbow, which I only hit after a while. It was Xe Mu who was not dead. Did I kill an illusion? With a right hook she hit me over. I felt the pain strongly. I forgot that I was in the body of a woman who felt more pain. When I fell, she ran away. I had no time to lose, ran after her after I got the kitchen knife. Hot water ran over her naked body as I raised her curtain. When I tried to get in, the door closed, so I had to run down the stairs. Once at the bottom, the door opened. She ran towards me, throwing her to the ground holding on, only to realize that it was again an illusion. I continued to run after her out of the building into a meadow. Probably Xe Mu was also aware that she was going to die. She will have no chance of surviving. I jumped on them with the kitchen knife. It was raining, the weather: depressed. I stabbed her several times, she groaned until she died. A gloomy day.
