With my back already healed, jumping over the hole wouldn't pose any trouble for me, but with just a single gesture from the golem - aimed most likely at calming me rather than actually doing something as systems like that could be operated with just a single thought of the owner - the broken floor got covered with a thin layer of some kind of material.
Taking the first step on this strange footing, I was sure that it would either instantly fail and cause me to fail, or do so only when I would put my trust into Golem and start walking through it. With my shockwave at the tip of my tongue, I crossed the formerly broken floor and arrived back at the open platform, where the princess waited for me with her eyes wide open.
"How did you do that?"
