Hijiri's vision turned blurry as the burning feeling in her stomach began to grow more and more painful. Her legs shook heavily, feeling the sharp claws still going through her chest; she could feel the Monsters' sharp rustic metal claws through her chest. Hijiri couldn't hold herself up anymore; her legs quickly gave out but her body still held up because of the sharp object through her.
"So boring..." The Monster sighed harshly pulling his claws from out Hijiri's skin. Her body rolled backwards as more blood gushed out from where she was impaled. Her clothing was now covered in her blood as well as the floor beneath her. She wasn't dead despite the gruesome attack. She twitched slightly every few seconds which made the Monster, Jack The Ripper, laugh hysterically. "Ooooh boy! You got some spunk in ya!" His voice was deep and husky. It sounded like he always had something in the back of his throat - it was a disgusting voice. If Hijiri could move, the first thing she would do was plug her ears. "Hahahahahaha!!! Jack The Ripper is my name! I don't got a game! I like killing pretty little things like yerself!"
"Holy Shit!" Arumigi dropped the brown paper bag, a wave of nausea overcame him when he saw Hijiri's bloodied body. The Monster turned around with his blood covered face when he heard Arumigi.
"Oooooh~" He showed off his multiple set of sharp teeth that had some flesh in-between them. They were probably from the women Hijiri had heard scream beforehand."I don't normally go for ya guys, but I can't just let ya go aftha this." Jack The Ripper then quickly slashed at Arumigi who was still caught in his daze. Before his claws could come in contact with his face, he was stopped.
"Jack The Ripper," Hijiri muttered darkly as she gripped a part of the Monsters' 'elbow'. Her face wasn't visible since it was covered with so much blood but her wounds she had before seem to miraculously have healed. Her clothing was still ripped a
"What the hell!?" The Monster screeched as he flipped Hijiri to the ground when he felt her grip his elbow. The teen coughed up blood but it wasn't as intense as before. Arumigi snapped out of his fearful daze when he saw Hijiri become hurt again.
"Are you okay!?" Arumigi knelt down trying to help her stand up. His eyes then wandered down to her clothing which was ripped around her breast area - where Jack had struck her. His face became colored in red, but he quickly covered her with his Academy blazer which was too big for her. "How....how are you..."
"Alive?" Hijiri coughed up some more blood as she used Arumigi for support. Her eyes seemed to have changed color from before. Arumigi definitely would have remembered if Hijiri's eyes were bright red. Her dark hair that was pulled in a low ponytail was floating slightly - Arumigi's own red eyes widened. His glasses moved down a bit from the bridge of his nose. He's seen his mom use her Sariyoku like that. "I'm using my-"
"Your Sariyoku," Arumigi finished for her. "Your Sariyoku Nature is Regenerative."
"You brats are starting to piss me off!!" Jack The Ripper screeched angrily preparing himself to attack the two.
"Yeah....how'd you...." Hijiri felt a wave of dizziness overtake her body. Before she collapsed, Arumigi caught her body so that she wouldn't fall again. Arumigi could feel Hijiri shaking intensely - she was as scared as he was.
"I'm Arumigi Shimizu," Arumigi smiled, showing off his sharp teeth. "Asagao Class."
Hijiri showed a small weak smile back, "Hijiri....Sesui...." She then tilted her head with confusion. "Um...? Nun Class?" She was unsure what Arumigi meant by the last part of his introduction.
"PREPARE TO DIEEEEE!!!"
Suddenly there was a pale purple glow that threw off Jack The Ripper. He stopped in his tracks unsure what the hell that glow even was. It was Arumigi - his body was glowing brightly as it spiraled up into the air. He took a shape of a weird spear of some sorts, but he was still just a glowing figure of an axe of some sorts.
Instinctively, Hijiri reached out when the figure of the axe dropped down to the ground. He landed right into both of her hands, and the feeling felt completely natural to Hijiri despite the fact she's never been in combat before.
"Woah...." Hijiri twirled the purple figure like it didn't weigh like anything. For someone as small as her, she should have a tough time but she easily swung Arumigi's blade around like nothing. Even Arumigi - who didn't transform fully was quite worried at how easily Hijiri could move him.
"You might throw your back out with all that swinging." He sarcastically retorted seeing how Hijiri was being a little too carefree in a dangerous situation like this one.
"Sorry, couldn't help--" Hijiri's whole body froze. "Kyaaaaa!!" She cried when she realized that the axe she was swinging around could talk. "Oh my god! It's talking to me!!"
Arumigi became dumbfounded, he thought she would have established that fact when he said he was an Asagao. Even then, Hijiri literally saw him transform into this glowing figure. He pushed up his glasses that had fallen down the bridge of his nose.
"Shut up for a sec!" He yelled, grabbing her attention. "The Monster is who you should be scared of not me!"
Hijiri gripped tightly to Arumigi's blazer remembering that Monsters had literally skewered her before. She buttoned some of the buttons up to cover her exposed chest, since Jack The Ripper had destroyed parts of her dress.
She nodded, swinging the axe so that the blade part - or figure of the blade faced the Monster that was in front of her.
"Right!"
Jack The Ripper stuck out his long bumpy tongue in amusement at the sudden confidence boost. "Aw how cute~" He teased, showing off his claw that was covered in Hijiri's blood. "I can't wait until you're nothing but tiny bits of flesh in my teeth~" He then launched his huge unproportional body straight at Hijiri with his claws right in front.
Hijiri faltered a bit but tightened her grip on the glowing figure in her hands. Her stance was quite off as well but she didn't back away, because she knew she could defeat this Monster. Even when Arumigi wasn't there she could still feel his presence and it was like he was guiding her.
"Take This!!" She screamed, swinging the glowing figure downwards at the nape of the Monsters' neck. Hijiri had cleanly sliced Jack The Ripper's head right off his gigantic torso without much of a sweat. There was a loud, 'Clank!' sound echoing throughout the street because she had swung the blade so hard, and it went through the Monster's neck like it was butter that the axe hit the ground. Several cracks began to form, lifting some of the concrete as well. The petite girl stumbled back, barely managing to keep herself up.
"You can't go to bed just yet." Arumigi grew serious which was rare. "You've got to destroy that thing's whole body, so you can get his dark seed. Destroying his head won't do anything, he'll just grow it back."
Hijiri was only half-listening though. She could barely stand, so how did Arumigi expect her to fully listen to him? She shook her head as her breathing grew more and more heavy. The weapon in her hands grew heavier as well with each breath she took. She could feel heat radiate off the weapon as well, at first it was bearable now it was starting to feel like she was holding a match with the flame nearing her fingers.
"What do you mean, 'No'! You gotta move!" Arumigi grew annoyed which just caused the weapon to grow even hotter. His Sariyoku's frequencies were becoming out of control and were becoming louder and out of sync with Hijiri. They weren't officially partners but he could really burn off Hijiri's hand if he didn't keep himself in check. Of course, Hijiri didn't know much about this so she didn't understand why her weapon was becoming hotter every second she stood still.
Hijiri was becoming overwhelmed with Arumigi's yelling; she was already so tired from using her Sariyoku to heal her wounds from earlier. She was barely holding herself up, the girl unconsciously tightened her grip on the handle which burned her hands. Hijiri quickly dropped the glowing figure making an even louder sound.
"What the hell!?"
"It...it..." Hijiri was at a loss for words. She fell down to the ground landing on her knees not knowing what to do in this hyper tense situation. Burn herself out or literally burn herself on Arumigi?
"YAHAHHAHHAHAHAH!" The Monsters' head hadn't fully come in yet but his body was moving with ease. The dismembered head rolled around gleefully as it regained consciousness. "Now itssa yer turn to feel ya head get sliced!!" Jack The Ripper's headless body movements were clunky at first but quickly got the hang of moving around again. "DIE!" He screeched getting ready to slice Hijiri's head.
"Crap! Move you dumbass!!" Arumigi tried to transform out of his Asagao form but he was experiencing difficulty doing so. He had never had someone hold him - no use him for as long as Hijiri did. He was unsure how to become his normal human self again.
"I call upon my Asagao, Akiraka!" A familiar voice from above yelled. It was Tokiru coming to save Arumigi once again. When a large bow formed in her hands, Tokiru pulled the string and a bright white glow in place of an arrow appeared. "Shooting Starlight!" A white flashed blinded everyone as it shot straight through Jack The Ripper's torso. His whole body disintegrated with that one shot.
Arumigi felt a strange wave of nostalgia. This situation reminded him of when he was younger and had gotten caught in the Witch Deliah's Labyrinth. At the time Tokiru was about to graduate at the Academy but had decided to still take a mission - it was her last mission. Now Tokiru has become one of Sir. Pumpkins closest servants to the point when there's an important secret mission, she's the first he calls on. Her Asagao partner, Akiraka isn't even a FULL200% but still is incredibly strong.
