We were let out of the room at dusk, just as the last glimpse of the sun could be seen as it illuminates the underside of clouds and the sky in vibrant warmth. I looked into the glaring sun as we went out with my hands to cover some of the light.
"Hurry up,"
"Otherwise your not going to find a date,"
The tigers shouted back at me as they went with the rest of the group who followed Mr Hu.
I turned around and caught up to them with a short jog.
"Hey, worry about that yourself, with my looks even if I arrive late I'll still get a date."
I walk beside them. They laughed at my words as if ridiculous and I ended up laughing with them for an unknown reason.
"Sure stallion."
Eleanor added then as if that wasn't enough.
"With your looks you'll definitely get a date, maybe with a middle class. Wait this is only for high and noble. Sigh, better luck next time."
She then did a sarcastic pity face at me. I opened my mouth and took a deep breath in then closed it and my nostrils flared exaggerated and I pursued my lips.
"Well that's just rude Fox,"
I did a playful pout afterwards.
"Keep up the good work Vixen,"
"Your way with words is just fascinating, mind giving me lessons?"
The tigers were complimenting her with laugher at my reaction in between.
"That's not a good way with words that's insulting!"
I shouted back playfully.
"Ahhhhh yes, but young clot, she insults in a logical way that's filled with facts."
"Something our poor brains could never hope to do."
They did it with a pointer finger and in a posh voice with a big grin on their faces.
"Bastards really know how to piss me off,"
I said with a smile and they just laughed.
"But can you boys keep up?"
Eleanor said with a hand to her chin.
"We will, please teach us the ways master."
They said in unison and on their knees. I laughed at their antiques.
"Of course these apes aren't good enough for my fiancé, what were they thinking."
Dominic said then hooking Eleanor's arms, she didn't refuse but kept smiling.
"Oh yeah?"
"Then how are you good enough for her?"
They were playfully pulling their sleeves up but carefully as to not ruin the suits they were in.
"Welllll, I'm a high class and your noble. I'm only head via marriage but you are by birth. I'm not as educated as you two are."
Each point he made, the more confused we were. What point was he trying to prove?
"In conclusion, I'm less worthy of her then you two apes,"
He seemed proud of it. We all burst out laughing at that reverse verbal attack at the twins.
"See? None of you apes are worthy of the likes of me!"
Eleanor said with playful bravado. She even ended it with a low laugh and an exaggerated smug grin which we laughed more at.
"What about me your highness?"
I said to continue the play.
"Mmmmm, I might consider it if you spin around 5 times then jump on the spot while saying Eleanor is the queen repeatedly until you finish your jumps. "
She opened one eye to consider at the start of her speech then when she made her demand the tigers laughed even harder. Dominic even gave out a louder chuckle. She said it so seriously that I could refuse. So I got ready to complete the demand with a big grin. I span five times, ballerina style with a leg up and hands above my head in an oval shape. They were watching me and laughing looking as if they were about to collapse from laughter any moment. Then I stopped and let out some pants and put out a stop sign indicated a second of rest. Then took an exaggerated breath and jumped on the spot while exclaiming quite loudly, Eleanor is the queen.
Oh that was a workout, laughing and physical exercise at the same time.
Everyone was practically on the ground but still moving forward to follow Mr Hu.
We were all dressed in ball material. Us boys all in suits and Eleanor in a ball gown. Anastasia wasn't locked in with us in the room, she was taken to a seperate room as there was no space available for another person in the room. Eleanor moving backwards then tripped on a root of the undergrowth as the ground was still part of the forest.
She fell backwards but me and my quick actions also being the first to notice her trip caught her. I grabbed her hand and gave it a little tug to delay the fall before positioning myself behind her and catching the rest of her.
"Can't let the queen's dress get dirtied can we?"
"Not at all my knight in shining armour,"
We chuckled at that.
"Oooo, their flirting,"
"Dominic you better do something befor he takes your fiancé,"
He stalked towards us with a glare while I still had my smile as I looked at his face.
With a final step forward he grabbed her other hand and with his free hand on her torso then spun her out of my loose grip.
"Go find your own queen, this one is mine to serve."
He said with a straight face while Eleanor gave me a wink while accepting Dominic's lead and twirled and flaunting the custom made ball gown.
The tiger twins clapped.
"Good job, stealing your queen back from the arms of evil."
"Hey I'm not evil!"
I said with a glare and pout.
"If the angel rejects you then you must be."
They stated as if it were as a matter of fact.
Dominic smiled at Eleanor's soft smile. The same smile she's shown me countless times. Mr Hu stopped and turned around to face us as he spoke in seriousness.
"Alright heirs, we've arrived, you can stop your bantering now and get into business, like you've been moulded to do since birth,"
