Chereads / The Unwilling Heir / Chapter 28 - Another trip to the clinic

Chapter 28 - Another trip to the clinic

I watched as the tiger disappeared into the distance, it seemed to know where it was going so I wasn't too worried.

I then thought of the confusing layout of the house and went outside to go check it out.

I went outside to see the back wall of the house, it looked exactly the same as it did when I scanned the area. I subconsciously scratched the side of my head a little.

Whaaaat?????

That didn't make sense at all!

The interior of the house was way too big to fit into this structure. I couldn't go back either because the walls were all blocked.

Huh.

That's weird.

I'll come back to it later though.

Right now I need to get some stitches, my head was basically red and blood dripped down continuously. The majority of the bleeding had stopped though it left dried blood which made it awkward when moving.

I got some wet wipes off one of the employees by asking and started wiping my self before getting into the car.

Mark was again giving me a worried look, one he wouldn't be giving me in one month time.

I then remembered I still had to plan that out and get him a job with one of the big businesses.

There was no paper message left behind this time and they intended to kill me.

Yuuta wouldn't of survived that. I barely survived that!

There was a stinging pain on my face and whole body, my cloths were also quite torn.

"Let's go back to the mansion, I need a change of clothes before going back to visit her again." I sighed.

Mark nodded in return and started to drive back to the mansion.

...

I went to the drawers and just picked up a pair of jeans and a plain white T-shirt.

I left them on the bed and went into the en-suite.

The mirror showed a blood face with an especially bloody cheek. Now I had a mirror I could wipe of the blood with lower risk of infection.

I ripped of a piece of toilet paper and wetted it, I then proceed to dab my face with the wet toilet paper until most of the blood was off.

There was a large gash running vertically down my cheek and just barely missing my eye. Phew I'm not blind.

There was a perimeter of dried blood around the shiny wounded area that I didn't was to wipe off in case some tissue got inside the gash.

I put on my cloths that were on the bed and walked straight out of the mansion to the garage where Mark was waiting.

I saw him looking at his phone while leaning on the bonnet of the car on one leg.

He looked and and made eye contact with me, then he got in and started the engine.

He back out and drove out of the drive way towards the Medical Centre, again.

...

"Back again are we Coltus?"

"Yep"

I dawdled to the chair beside the desk.

She cleaned the wounded area and proceeded to inspect my gash.

"Gash will need stitches, take off your shirt I know you've got minor injuries,"

She gave a directed look, I sighed and conceded.

I turned around to show her my back as that was where the minority of the scars were. I didn't want her seeing my front.

She took off her glasses to inspect my back which was littered with scars both old and new.

She sighed afterwards.

"Turn after Micheal,"

I turned and showed her the front. There was at least two times more scars on the front, it was not something I was comfortable showing openly.

"Just treat the one on my face, the rest will just heal in time."

She lifted an eyebrow but still nodded as she turned around to continue writing.

I sat down and fixed my shirt.

"I'm going to apply the numb cream and do some stitches, come back in a week for a checkup."

"K "

She took out the kit and proceeded to stitch up my wound then sticking a piece of bandage to cover and prevent infection.

"Thanks,"

I walked out and planed not to come back for a check up.

"Thank you for coming!"

I walked out ignoring the admin lady. Looks like I have to visit the last location.

...

I went back home to plop myself onto the overly plush bed and wanted to forget the things that happened. The reason why I wanted to forget these things were unclear but I just felt like it.

I couldn't force myself to sleep because I wasn't at all tired. There wasn't really anything wrong in my life right now. I've been going to school as normal between these trips to the locations. It's been two weeks since Yuuta came up to me and asked. I've always been going to these various locations on a Saturday and left Sunday to heal up.

I'm basically a straight A+ student and everyone believes that I'm the handsome scholarship student, speaking of that basically every middle class girl has confessed to me. Now everyone calls me ungrateful for not excepting any of them and blah blah blah. It's tiring.

Now that I think about it, I'm only normal on the weekdays. Well considered normal.

I'm friendless but normal. Is that still normal?

On the weekends people would think that I'm a part of a specialised police force, which technically I am. Being Coltus head still is quite a repulsive idea to me and the original plan to run away when the chains loosen is still fresh in my mind. I'm not giving up yet. I've also decided that once I've gotten Natalia dead or alive I'm going to go and have some fun on the weekends! Don't know how yet but I'll get there. I fell asleep after about an hour of thinking to myself. Well tomorrow is heal up day. I'll just do some homework and get back to it.
