Naomi was still in her thoughts thinking about how to solve this mystery, mystery behind her dream.
"Are you ready Naomi?", Amanda asked while looking in the mirror and checking for any final touches if required, "I am ready, let's go" said Amanda.
"Yes, let's go I am ready too, don't know till when I will be able to tolerate the party," Naomi said while both of them walked out of the room. They locked the room and took their respective keys and put that in their clutches.
They started for the venue, the lift was busy so they took the stairs. They went towards the Viena building and went to the basement. The hall was really well decorated, disco setup was also there for the students to dance and enjoy. A lot of people were there already, enjoying the party, doing some moves on the beats standing on their places, some were having drinks and snacks. The hall was very big, it was made for this type of occasion only as it could gather a large number of people. Seniors were having purple-colored hand bands, to distinguish them from the juniors. There were only some of the seniors present, who were busy managing the stage duties and the students as well. The decoration and the organization, all in all, was very impressive. Naomi looked around, she located some of her classmates, this made her remember that guy, he was nowhere to be seen. Maybe he hasn't come, she thought to herself and exclaimed lucky he. She looked behind towards the entrance, there he was, entering the hall. He looked at her, their gaze met but just for less than a second and Naomi quickly changed her gaze and started looking somewhere else and twirled her head to the front.
"Let's get to the food counter", Amanda said looking in the direction where snacks and drinks were kept and held Naomi's hand and took her there. Some were still coming, others were talking and enjoying. Then a sudden announcement came from the stage.
"Hey fresher's, hope you are enjoying the party", "We seniors have organized this party like our seniors did for us". "Wooooooo", said the crowd. "So let's begin with the first thing on the list, which is the impromptu performance, in this we will choose the performer whom we will call to perform and they will perform what we tell them to perform". "Is it cool?", asked another senior standing near the stage. "Yes", shouted the crowd. "God knows what gonna happen," said some of them to each other. "All of you must have been given the tickets while entering inside, so there's a number written on it", "so whose number be announced has to come on stage". "Ok, I will say a random number for you and then you have to act accordingly", said the senior. " So, the number is 71, check your tickets please". Naomi saw her ticket, it was her ticket number, so she was the first to perform on stage.
"It's my number Amanda", she told her. "Oh my God, Best of luck to you", said Amanda looking at Naomi giving generous look. Naomi felt a little bit nervous, but consoled herself and went on stage. The crowd started hooting loudly.
"So, what task to be given to you," said the senior to Naomi who was standing on the stage. "I think we should announce one more number, if it's a boy then you both have to dance together and if it's a girl then we will have a face-off. "Ok, the next number is Ummm, 83". All of them saw their tickets. A person from the back started to walk towards the stage. Naomi thought to herself, "where I got stuck, I should have seen this in my today's dream instead of the classroom one, maybe I would have turned down the party or swapped this ticket with someone else. But could she change the future? A question to be thought about. That person came in front he was the same guy of her class. Oh my God, Naomi thought to herself, I can't believe, only he among such a large number of people.
"So it's a guy," said the senior, "Let's have a duet dance performance". The crowd started hooting once again. They came closer to dance.
"I don't know how to dance", Naomi came closer to his ears and whispered.
"Ok, Losen up yourself, I will make you dance", said he.
Today if something wrong happened, it will be so humiliating, Naomi thought to herself.
A dance number started to play from behind. They both started to perform. The dance went on, suddenly Naomi foot slip and she was about to fall but was saved by the guy from falling, and he converted that move into a dance move so that nobody can find out. The dance was over and they performed a lovely dance. All the students clapped for them, the senior also clapped and then he called for the next number.
Naomi went to Amanda and stood beside her. "You were awesome Naomi", said Amanda. "Really, but that boy was more good, he danced very well, he only made me dance this well", said Naomi looking at the boy who went past her and stood at the adjacent but far corner of the room. She was about to say thanks but can't. He really stays isolated she thought.
The person whose number was announced came on stage for the turn. " Say some lines of your favorite actor's movie", said the senior. The performances were fun, everyone was hooting and enjoying. Impromptu performances were going on.
"I am going in the room, I am feeling tired, I will come again sometime later," she said to Amanda and walked out.
In the room-
Naomi came inside the room and sat on the bed. She was not tired, being tired was not the reason that brought her inside the room. It was something else that made her come to her room. The reason was her today's morning dream or "Deja vu" which kept her mind captivated the whole time because she just wanted to find out the truth behind it but how, how could she?
An idea came to her mind. She thought of taking a quick nap again so that she could know that she will get any "Deja vu" type dreams like that again and if yes then she could peep into the party in advance. She was unable to wait for the night and know if she had future-looking skills, the next day.
So she went to bed and tried to sleep, but it was difficult for her to sleep at that point of time. Naomi always had nightmares which she never liked, she was fed up with this problem but today she was waiting for her to sleep so that she could have a dream.
At the party-
The impromptu performances were going on, Amanda was eagerly waiting for modeling to happen, she was very good at modeling, she had a slender body like that and had participated in various modeling competitions previously. Now the impromptu contest was over, it was time for some volunteered performances. The performances started to happen one by one. People got busy with the snacks and drinks, others were enjoying the performances and made videos and took pictures with their group.
The guy was sitting at the corner sipping at his drink through a straw and looking towards the stage. Some girls were whispering to each other standing behind him. He was already somewhat popular in her class girls but now he became more popular after his performance. He became like talk of the day.
At the room-
Naomi went in her sleep by now. Maybe now she was nearer to the answer behind all the happenings which were happening in her life recently. Will she get all the answers answered? Answers to questions like, Is she really able to see the future? Why was she seeing the future and that too from lately? What was the reason behind it?
