C woke up early in the morning to find Edward sprawled across the sofa, while Sophie was sleeping in her chair. He pulled her up and carried her to the bedroom. He left Ed as the way he was, and went for the morning walk.
He bought breakfast along the way and when he came inside, he saw that Edward was snoring lightly while Sophie was knitting her eyebrows in discomfort. 'Maybe she is having yet another nightmare.' C thought and rushed to her side, and slowly brushed her hair, muttering slowly, "Nothing will happen. I am here. Nothing will happen."
His words comforted her and she sighed deeply in her sleep and turned around muttering incoherently in her sleep, and slept again. This time there was no signs of discomfort on her face. C went to her office desk, and collected the scattered papers, and arranged them to the side of the desk. He shut her open laptop, keeping it on top.
Sophie woke up at 11 a.m. and panicked a bit.
"Why have I slept for so long? Oh God!" she screamed. Edward, who was sleeping on the couch was startled and rushed to her room.
"What happened?"
"Uh… I have slept for so long."
Edward was disoriented for a while and did not register her words at first.
"What? Even I have slept for so long. What is the problem?"
She got up from the bed and rushed to freshen up immediately. Edward was dumfounded.
Sophie went to the Atmosphere along with C and Edward. She designed their dresses. Actually, she designed C's dress and hers. She brought a readymade dress for Edward from their boutique.
When they put on the dress they looked absolutely stunning. Both C and Edward had the same type of dress, and Sophie's dress looked like she was going to a masquerade party.
Sophie wore an emerald green long full sleeved gown with a thin lace belt tied around her waist. The gown had two layers. The inner layer was of satin. The outer layer was of sequin fabric. It was embellished with various minute emerald green stones throughout the gown. A deep V cut could be seen at the front and the back. Her raven black hair was curled and laid on her back. She paired the gown with emerald earrings which had emerald stones at the middle and small sparking diamonds circling it. The necklace was made of varying sizes of emerald stones with small sparkling diamonds fixed below it. She put on an emerald lace gloves which was tied to her middle finger and put on an emerald green round ring of while gold with diamonds surrounding it on middle finger of her right hand. She wore a small dial watch of silver colour, matching her dress and jewellery. She took a masquerade mask of the same colour with gold inscriptions throughout it. It had various gold embellishments, and a peacock feather attached to it. The peacock feather was small but it added charm to the mask, and to the wearer.
Gasps of admiration left their mouth watching her. "Wow, you look so so so beautiful." She made necessary adjustments to their suits after they tried them. They wore green shirts, matching with Sophie, and paired them with black pants and blazer. They wore similar watches. Their style was almost identical.
