Chapter 2 - Bellaroos

Mouse, the white haired boy, pulled his lips back to reveal two razor sharp fangs. His pink eyes narrowing in warning before he spoke. "Tristan, leave the room." The shorter man snapped his head around with confusion, but said nothing. Tristan's eyes looked nervous and for a moment he considered his next move. The two ears were pressed against his skull before glancing in the direction of the third man in the room. The taller one nodded in response. Tristan slowly released Freya's foot before moving to place his hands up. His head lowering as if to show he was no harm before he turned to leave the room.

It was then Freya realized where she was. She was laying on a table. It was... stone with animal skin laid over it. Her fingers brushed against it making her realize it was deer skin. The room was small with them in the middle, a dirt floor, and the walls made of wood. It was placed perfectly to give a look of a log cabin. Glancing up at the roof she noted it was made of wood as well, but it had some straw throughout it. Most likely to help with the rain. Candles were twisted throughout the whole place with two windows place side by side at the back of the room. She saw two doors both made of the same wood.

Mouse sat by her feet in a wooden chair with a deer skin bag opened by her legs. It had several knives, wraps, small containers, swabs, and other items. Freya's eyes settled on him for a moment for further inspection before her eyes turned to look over at the second male. Golden eyes slowly traveled from his face, down his chest, along his legs, and finally onto his feet. He wore no shoes, which strangely fit him rather well. Frowning at him, she finally meet his eyes. He was glaring down at her with his fangs displayed as a low warning growl left him. Freya did not understand the defense, but then again she was disoriented. Perhaps, he was trying to put her in place or make sure she did not attack him. She struggled to process what was going on until she felt the shiver.

"Shit!" Freya twisted and forced herself onto her side. They did not try to stop her as she moved her arm to cover her chest. Her shirt was gone along with her bra. However, her arm did not hurt. It had been bandaged as well. The deep musky smell told her the same treatment had been given to it as her ankle. Her body though was a sorry sight. She was covered in bruising and scrapes. Her whole body looked black and blue, but nothing felt broken. She simply felt as if she had been beaten with a stick, which did not make her feel any better. It only meant she was weakened in front of possible enemies, which in turn could mean her downfall. She did not like this at all. Her body tensed while her eyes glanced around to watch them again. Her mind was already calculating a away to get away.

"Don't move quite yet girly." The larger man said, which only made Freya snap.

"Where am I? Where the hell have you t-"

"Shut your filthy mouth, duck brain!" Mouse shoved himself onto his feet causing for the medical equipment to find a new home on the floor. Behind him a tail flickered in annoyance. It was white just like his hair with a slight grey stripe down the middle.

Before he could speak again, Freya shoved upwards. A gasp left her as a dizziness slammed into her and she fell back again. Her hand shooting to cover her mouth to prevent herself from being sick, but that did not stop her from throwing her legs over the table to touch the ground. Sitting, her gold eyes glanced over to watch the larger male move slowly to lean against the wall behind her. It was obvious he was watching her, assessing, and trying to decide what to do with her. Freya did not like this at all.

"Tsk." Mouse huffed out as he flopped back into his seat. Watching her, he bent his elbow and leaned it against the table. His cheek moving to place itself against the palm of his hand as he watched her. "I swear, females as such a pain. Rude and brainless."

"Excuse me?" Freya snapped her head back around. "I wake up to three-" The taller man begun to chuckle, but that did not stop the female from speaking, "large men standing over me, and you expect me not to freak out?"

Mouse smirked slightly at that as he flickered his tail slightly. "Should we not have saved you from the feline?"

Freya huffed. "I was fine, and w-" Wait a moment. The female's eyes stared at the flicker of the tail... the sight of it causing her to tense in confusion. Mouse's eyes brow rose before following the line of her sight. The male frowned before turning back to her. His eyes narrowed slightly as if offended before standing. "You have a tail." The women spatted out. Humans do not have tails. Wait, that man... he had ears. They all had... strange hair color, eyes.. and that cat. What was going on? Where was she, and who were these people.

"Justin, watch her until Alec is back." Mouse's voice was flat, pained almost as he threw himself from his chair. It crashed loudly against the wood as he whipped himself around. With one last glance, he yanked the door open and stepped out of the hut. The slamming door caused for Freya to jump as she lowered her head slightly.

"Don't take offense, girly." The male spoke with a rich accent. It reminded her of the cold of the forest and far away lands. It was even, quiet almost, and she rather liked it. It put her at ease. Even as she stared at the door, he came around to her side and laid a deer skinned coat along her shoulders. It had wooden buttons to tie, and instantly she pulled it tight against her. The stranger then sat beside her and instantly Freya flinched away. Twisting in his direction, she watched him in defense. However, she was growing tired the longer they played this game. Still, she had no idea where she was. "Mouse doesn't take well to being stared at."

Reaching his hand out his hand to tie the buttons, Freya moved to the edge of the table just out of reach. Instead, she begun to work them together herself. Justin didn't seem to even notice or even care. He simply knew if she pulled away further she would be on the ground and unable to get back up. The ankle was heavily damaged after all. If Mouse had been in a better mood, he may had simply... healed it. Justin brushed his bottom lip at the thought as he watched her. "Justin Silverwing, Delta of Bellaroos." Bellaroos? Before she could ask, he continued. "Mouse is our healer, and the other was Tristan Mcdog, an omega. Welcome to Bellaroos. Now, mind telling me why you were in the middle of Cathilon territory and refused to shift?"

Bellaroos? Delta? Omega? This almost sounded like a wolf pack. This made no sense. "You guys have been away from town for to long." Freya smiled slightly at that while refusing to laugh. These people could not be serious. These people were downright crazy, and she found herself glancing around for cameras.

"Town?" Justin smirked a bit at that. "Girly, we are in town." Standing up, he held his arm out to her. For a moment, Freya just stared at the arm.

"Come on girly. I don't bite." Justin chuckled. Freya knew his intentions, but something told her he was harmless. He kept his voice even, his body language was calm, and he did not seem demanding. The male just reminded neutral, yet she could still see the fangs he displayed before hand. Although, she quickly glanced for a tail, ears, something that she saw before and found herself feeling relieved when she saw something. She knew she was seeing things. Breathing in deeply, she finally moved to reach a hand out. Instead of him letting her take his arm though, he gripped her hand and moved it around his neck.

"Wai-" Not waiting for her response, the male moved his arm under her legs and his other around her back to yank her into his arms. She yelped out and clawed at his shoulder. The pain burned through her and for a moment she thought she would be sick. Her back curled, her body tensed, and yet he waited. Wordlessly, he waited until she was panting in his arms before turning to the door.

"Unless you want me to." The male whispered softly against her ear before smiling slightly. Freya's face burned while growling under her breath slightly. She, for a moment, wanted to elbow him in the chest. However, her mind turned back to the idea of leaving the hut. Something inside of her had to see outside of the hut. Something inside of her had to know where she was, but when he opened the door her eyes widened in utter shock of where she found herself. Unlike the winter wonderland from before, the outside was chilly yet covered in grass. The open area had dirt roads that lead about to other buildings with some being homes. Rich colors of different stones, wood, and even straw covered buildings. Some were crafted from old trees. Some were large and beautifully crafted from stone, while others seemed to be simple boxes. There looked to be no yards, however it would surprise her if there was. Many of the buildings were close together with dirt roads leading to them or outwards. Some roads moving into a thicket of trees which indicated some people may live further out. Farther down, she could see a large opening she guessed was a plaza or maybe a market of some kind. Freya could hear the hum of voices and smell the food from where she was.

Although, what caught her eye was the sight of just how close the mountains were. She could see roads that lead further into them, which made her guess they were possibly at the base of them. This only confirmed it when she noted some buildings were actually seated onto the slope of the mountains and cliffs. Breathlessly, her eyes flickered from the scene before her to glance behind her. Her whole entire body buzzed with energy as her eyes widened in shock of what she found. The healer hut had been pushed slightly to the side against the base of just where a mountain started, and pressed into the mountain laid a castle. It looked to be etched into the mountain by using the same stone. It was square like with pyramid roofs. A stone pathway lead to a bridge which overhung a cliff to finally get inside. She could not help but note the guards that stood by the path, along with two large black canines by the gates.

The village was by no means empty either. They were covered with men, women, and children. Canines walked the streets of all different colors, sizes, and species. Wild dogs, foxes, domesticated breeds, wolves, coyotes, jackals, and even some raccoon dogs littered the streets. Many of the species should not even be together, yet here they were from large beasts to tiny yorkies. The villagers wore different skins of creatures from deer to scales from reptiles. There was even some individuals wearing leather, teeth, claws or nothing at all. Their hair all seemed to have different color patterns from simple black, brown, or blond to spots or stripes. Others had tails or ears that were different shapes, sizes, and colors. It was hard to miss the fangs some of them wore, and the sharpened nails. Blue, black, white, red, yellow, and other colors were painted on some individuals, along with tattoos. Freya was no longer in her own world. That much was for certain now.

"Where am I?" Freya mumbled.

"Bellaroos."

Freya's head snapped around just as she heard Justin speak. "My beta, welcome back." A few feet away a man had begun to approach them. His eyes narrowing as they turned to glare at her. They were deep green that belonged to a young man. He had long raven black hair that created a mane along his shoulders and neck. He was about the same height of Justin who was 6'1 by her guess. He was fit with lean muscles and a six pack. There looked to be not even an inch of fat on the male, rather he looked to have been purposely sculpted with long legs, long black lashes, and a slight teasing smile. The perfection was only broken by three large scars over his right eye. A black string necklace held a canine fang that laid against a sweaty and bloody drenched chest. The blood was probably from the boar corpse which was dripping the red liquid down his arms and neck as well. His chin even had a smear of it. He wore sandy spotted pants which took Freya a moment to realize it belonged to the serval that had attacked her. However, further in the pattern it looked to include strips and spots from another species of animal.

Beside the male stood a redish colored canine with black muzzle and tail. It was a perhaps a dhole that looked to weigh about 30 pounds. Its muzzle was slightly parted as it panted happily with its tail flickering back and forth. Its ears were slightly pointed towards her, yet as soon as the stranger came to them it flopped onto the ground. Its body moving to lay on its side while its tongue fell out. It was clear the canine was tired from the hunt, yet it looked rather content. It was covered in blood, fur, but looked to be untouched. Poking out behind the human male though came yet another canine. This one was for sure female. The very sight of the creature looked fragile, delicate, and small. She was 60 pounds at most. Her eyes were a chocolate brown that only seemed to shine against her golden fur. After all, she was a well groomed golden retriever. She, unlike the dhole, simply moved to place herself into a sit behind the stranger. Curiosity caused her to tilt her head as she watched them.

"Thank you Justin." The strange male responded without taking his eyes from Freya.

"Bellaroos?" Freya pressed which made those beautiful eyes narrow at her. She swallowed harshly against the intense stare. Her body warming and clenching. This man.... how she wanted to reach out and touch him. "What is.... Bellaroos?"

A slight twitch left the male as he released the boar. It slammed to the ground as he folded his arms over his chest. "Have you been living under a rock, fish bait? Bellaroos is home of the canines."
