Freya screamed and jerked away from the wolf. She fell backwards, which was the worst move. Alec was taking no prisoners as he moved to push himself up to place a paw on either side of her head. His large body placed itself to stand over her while tilting his head to the side in confusion of her reaction. Despite that, she could see the dance of amusement in his clear green eyes. He enjoyed her reaction. No, he probably enjoyed the way her cheeks burned harshly, and her body heated more with each second that passed by. She just froze there... not moving as she stared. It was Alec that finally backed away Even in his canine form, she could tell he was smirking as he stepped away slowly and came to force himself into a sit. His tail flickered behind him as his ears pointed in her direction. Simply put, he was watching her.
She mumbled under her breath while she sat up and moved to her feet. Brushing her hands down her pants she spoke. "What the hell Alec? You could have woken me up." Her voice was shaking slightly in her embarrassment. She could not even bring herself to look back at the male. Even so, she felt the eyes burning into her. Alec did not answer her while she glanced in search for the other two canines, yet found neither.
"Drole and Tristan went home." Freya glanced over at him and yelped. She snapped her head away when she realized the male had changed back. However, he wore no clothing. She had not even seen the cat fur clothing that was laying on the ground, but now he was picking it up to slip back on to cover himself. He said nothing to her reaction though. Having put himself back together, she risked a look in his direction again to find the bandages were still in place. She was glad to know they were not torn off, but that would not satisfy her. She wanted him to be treated as well, at least beyond what her abilities allowed. She just hoped Mouse would no longer be in a horrible mood. Her anger still burned under her skin at the thought he would blame the beta for a foe's attack, which lead her to another question. Why were they even there in the first place? Could they have been after her?
Freya suddenly felt cold. Her arms wrapped around herself as she finally spoke. "May-"
Alec interrupted. "I would rather you checked my wounds." His eyes half closed even as he watched the house. Alec could not bring himself to face Mouse or even Justin yet. He needed to go back, but he refused to leave his delta behind. Mouse may have had his exile uplifted when he became beta, however he did not trust Justin to remember that. A matter of fact, he worried Justin might try to kill the man the instant he woke up... if he woke up. It had been years since the two had been left alone together, but Alec knew Justin still blamed Mouse for that day... the day he lost her. Although, it was also the day he too lost Mouse's trust and his respect. There would never be a way to recover that. He had just accepted it.
Swallowing thickly, Alec's eyes landed back on the female who seemed like she would argue. Freya wanted to, yet there was something in his gaze. It had darkened and almost looked... broken. It was not something she had seen from him before, thus she simply waved for him to sit. The beta did what he was told. Sitting down, he leaned back against the tree again as Freya sat down at his side. With that, she begun to undo the bandages from last night. "You need these to be cleaned, you know?" She stated with a frown.
Alec growled low in his throat at what he took as a command. She was of lower status, and he still did not appreciate her tone towards him. However, they shared the night together, so he decided to let it pass. After all, she had been brave enough to help his wound.
"Just wrap it up." Freya huffed as the male begun to retract into himself again, but she said nothing to it. Instead, she used the old bandages to rub at the wounds in hopes of cleaning them some. She found surprise in the fact they were almost healed though.
"We heal quickly." Alec found himself explaining. "Or have you forgotten that?" Freya's body tensed slightly at the question.
Their eyes meet again as he watched her with an unflinching gaze. Their sweetness had disappeared, and the kind Alec she found was gone. The eyes she found was the beta... the cold blooded beta that she had no doubt would kill her one day. Cold and hard, he reached up the hand to grip her chin. She narrowed her eyes at him in a challenge as if daring him to try something... anything to provoke her further. She debated on showing him exactly what kind of teeth she had. "What are you suggesting Alec?"
Alec's lips pulled back to flash his fangs as he leaned down slowly. A soft brush against her flesh had him humming at the taste, yet it had Freya shivering. This version of the male left Freya feeling cold... restless, and abandoned. It felt fake, yet the feel of his mouth on her made her wish to yank him against her body. In a way, she wanted him to possess her. She forced the thoughts away though as she instead waited for his answer. "I'm suggesting you're hiding something, and I want to find out. Perhaps during your punishment for running away."
Freya suddenly shoved him and yanked herself from his body. Her eyes were on fire as she glared down at the wolf at her feet who looked at her with little care. For a moment, she had thought this man was kind, however he had done well to prove her wrong. "Touch me Alec, and I promise you will regret it." Whipping herself from the male, she started back towards the house. Alec let her go... for now, but smirked in delight of her. It would seem he hit a nerve, and he planned to hit many more in the future.

"Justin?" The words whispered causing for the male to peek his eyes open slowly. They glanced around in the darkness as he felt the trail of fingers along his bare chest.
"What?" He yawned and rolled over to place his body over his lover. Two hands placed themselves on either side of her head while his knees straddled her small waist. Alissa looked up at him with a gentle smile that brought out her beautiful blue eyes. They were clear as crystal and the color of ice. However, they showed every single emotion she felt as she gazed upon the husky with love. There was no shadow of a doubt how much she loved the man that lowered himself to almost lay on top of her. His lips grazed down her throat slowly while his nose nudged her golden hair away. He found that sensitive spot on her shoulder with his teeth. She cried out at the bite of pain only for his tongue to cool it.
"I-I think s-someone w-was calling for you." Alissa stuttered out. He groaned low in his throat as he yanked the blanket further down to expose her. His tongue lavished against her nipple making her squeal as her body tensed. A hand scratched down his back, and he growled in pleasure at having been marked. It only encouraged him to wrap his skillful mouth around the pink bug to force another gasp to leave her. He loved the way she trembled under him, and the way she squirmed in delight. She was flawless in every single way, beautiful, and she was his... only his. After being alone all these years, Justin had found the one he would forever love... forever be with. Born with impure blood, watching his mouth be executed, and then being abandoned by his father.. someone had accepted him. Even after being invited into Bellaroos and clawing his way to delta he had been shunned. To think, she had chosen him. Justin smiled at that thought.
"I love you." Justin whispered as he peppered kisses down her stomach and found his teeth brushing against her inner thigh.
"Ju...st....in." The wet sound had the male's body freezing. His body went cold, and his breath caught in his throat. Slowly, blue eyes traveled up the female. He choked at the sight of blood gushing from her mouth. It stained her lips red and pooled to the ground. Her eyes, white and cloudy, laid on the ground at her side. Large plump worms wiggled about as they happily ate at the flesh and penetrated the skin of them. They had long begun to decay, and the juices had started to seep out to mix with the crimson. It left her with two large gaping black holes in her face. Blood poured from them along with her nose. The red liquid was everywhere... trailing down her once living skin. A slight smoke begun to rise from where the blood touched to start melting away flesh to reveal first the muscle. Thus, that blood begun to pour to leave ugly scars behind until only the bones remain.
Pushing herself up slowly, Justin could only stare as she smiled. Worms dripped from her mouth, her eyes, nose, and ears. They slipped down her body and drilled their way into now rotting flesh that was swelled from fluid. No longer did a living body sit before him. Her blond hair had long fell away, and she became painted in death. Her mouth parted to breath out a sickening rotten breath as she spoke. "Why did you let me die?"
---
Justin jerked away with a yell while the hissing voice rang in his ears. Instantly, he leaned over and was thankful for the bucket next to him as he threw up... once... twice... and finally a third time. He was wrecked with dry heaves as he tried to empty his stomach further, but there was nothing left. The memory of the decaying body brought shivers down his spine and an acid taste in his mouth. His throat burned from the memory, and only when he had emptied himself completely was he able to lay down. He forced his eyes to remain open even as they attempted to close. He wanted to escape the thought of his lover turning into.... that. He could not bare to think about it, but before long his mind did indeed drift elsewhere. The first being how hot he felt. He was on fire with sweat dripping down him as if he had just gone swimming. Justin could smell the salt in the air from it, and he groaned at the dizziness it caused. He wanted to clean himself, but his body refused to move.
His back was tight, his body heavy, and he ached from head to toe. It was not a feeling he was used to. Glancing his eyes from where he laid, he quickly noted he was in Mouse's home. He knew the moment he glanced out the window at the unfamiliar land where he was, and it was further confirmed by the strong smell of the other male. He growled at that. For Mouse to have helped him, he must have been in danger. "Well, you survived. Congrats."
He knew that voice, which was why he bared his fangs. The coyote did not even notice as he pulled a chair up to the table. "Drink." He had no strength to refuse as the water was pressed to his mouth. He drank it with greed, gulp after gulp until the bastard pulled it away. The husky whimpered in want for more, and after a few seconds the healer let him have it. This continued until finally Justin refused anymore. Mouse stood up and moved away to the kitchen before coming back against. This time, he had a rice mixture.
"How did you get rice?" The husky forced out with a small smile. It was rare in Bellaroos to find rice. Even being canines, they could eat it, but it was not always a preferred food.
"Shut up and eat." Justin groaned in refusal, yet the healer insisted as he pressed it the male's lips. One bite in, he found a burning hunger to take the whole bowl. The bastard only gave him two more spoons full. "You can have more if you keep that down." The healer insisted and sat it aside as he begun to check on the male's back.
Justin frowned and tensed at the touch. He did not trust the albino... not one bit. "Oh get over yourself." Mouse snapped.
"You didn't save her. For that, I-"
"She told me to save you first, so I did. Grow up." The healer snapped and removed himself from the table. The slashes were healing, but Mouse was glad he had stitched them. Justin would have been in great danger if he hadn't, but he did wish he had given him a drug for sleeping. Every single time they were alone, it was the same conversation. Justin's anger still raged that Mouse had disobedient him. Instead of saving his lover, he saved his delta. He saved the General, and because of that the canine had never forgiven him. Truth be told, he was not sure she could have been saved either way. That knowledge had been the key factor in his choice, but he had never told Justin that. That secret stayed with him because he knew it would destroy the him. Justin would not be able to forgive himself, thus Mouse was fine being the one to blame. After all, it was never like they got along anyway.
Mouse's lip twitched at the thought as he grabbed the bucket of water and came back to start washing the wound clean as he listened to the husky's snarls. "There were other healers, but only you could have saved her! You chose not to!"
Mouse said nothing even as his mind drifted back to that day.... The day everything went wrong between the two.
