the city was huge bustling with merchants, and commoners. people haggling for a lower price on goods, and people just talking and having a good time.
by the time Zane and the adventurers reached the sight of the kingdom, Zane unsummoned the wolf, he didn't want any trouble.
Zane also told the adventurers that they could leave at which point they did. but currently Zane is walking into the guild to register so he would be able to make money.
"Hello how are you doing today!" a perky female elf says as Zane walks up to the desk. "I'd like to register as an adventurer."
"Of course tell me your level and job and you be all set!" the elf replied. " I'm level 2, my job is swordsman." Zane told the elf. he didn't tell the truth because he thought it would create a problem. "May I ask your name?". the elf asked.
"Zane Baal." Zane answered. "okay then your all set!" the elf exclaimed. "you are you are currently E rank if you want to go into higher ranks you must complete quests!"
"I understand." Zane replied when he then turned around and walked toward the quest board. "oh and I should tell you can only accept E and D rank quests at your current rank!" the elf yelled out. Zane simply nodded and turned his head back to the quest board.
Zane excluded all the quests that looked boring and chose one that seemed good for him. it was a D rank quest which was to kill a group of Goblins that were causing trouble in a nearby village. Zane then walked up to the desk and said "I want this one." the elf looked at him in shock and replied "thats a D rank usually a group of E rank adventurers would take this one. Zane simply stood there and said, "I understand, but I want this one." after a couple seconds the elf said that he has a week to take care of the quest before he no longer can get a reward. Zane turns around and heads for the bar. but then a large noise comes from the door. "is that the silver knight!" a random person yells out, Zane then redirects his attention to a group of adventurers one was of course a knight in silver armor, the others were a male healer, and a female attack mage. Zane simply cared less and ordered a drink, that is until the group comes and sits right next to him. "3 rounds for us please" the knight says. Zane was never really social so the next thing that happened was a new experience for him. "you in the black cloak you look like you want to hear a story!" the knight exclaims waiting for a response, Zane... did not respond, instead he just kept taking sips of his drink waiting for some food. this however annoyed the knight, "you in the black cloak do you wish to hear a story!" people were starting to stare at Zane and the knight, witnessing the rage building up inside the knight. "how dare you not respond the only people who don't respond to me are people of higher power than me!" the knight stood up starting to get angry, Zane finally stopped drinking his drink and stands up. "so you finally wish to speak!" the knight said mockingly. "I do not care for stories" Zane said as he pit his mask back on. the knight was confused as to why he was standing. "Then what do you care for?" the knight asked with annoyance in his voice. and As Zane was walking to the doors he simply said "silence." the doors then slammed behind him.
