So this train had been some twisted experiment which allowed people to teleport around the world at the cost of half the passengers? That was... not what he expected... And it was definitely a LOT to take in. How many had perished? Whole towns and cities had fallen to this disgusting thing. He had figured out what happened, but now he needed a way out.
Just then, the train returned in the station. Shaun and Justin ran to greet anyone on it, but there was no one. Shaun headed up to the front to see if there was a conductor, no one. But there was some sort of controls panel. Upon inspection, Shaun realized he could set the system to bring them back home... but if only they got on, one of them wouldn't see their home ever again. They needed at least two other people to get on with them to even have a chance at survival. But there was no one else around, and who knew how much time Justin had.
Shaun didn't have a choice, they both boarded the train, and they both knew one of them would never get off. Justin and Shaun ran to the front of the ship, and selected their home town. It was finally time to go home... but Shaun was so nervous. Even if he didn't have anyone he wanted to go back to, he didn't want to die. But he couldn't do anything now, Justin pressed the button and all the doors shut. The train started to race down the tracks, faster and faster. This was all over so fast, he didn't know what was happening.
It was going faster and faster.
Until everything was still.
