Oberon requested a meeting with the Rakshakas first. This gave the Pixie a chance to sneak away. She was supposed to lead astray, not lead co-operations! Though, considering the fey were always at odds with each other, maybe this co-operating thing WAS a kind of leading astray.... This kind of thinking was giving her a headache. It was way above her pay grade.
The Pixie went to a set of rail tracks where others of her kind congregated to freak out humans, knowing that multiple Pixies would throw off Oberon from finding her. She enjoyed scaring the young humans coming to see the "ghost lights". There were multiple stories about why they congregated there, and of course the main reason of the location being a ley line intersection was only believed by a few. Most thought it was some supernatural curse. But really, Pixies in general are just lazy and the Power of the intersection led to greater willow-wisp lights. The lights of course, added to the story, whether it was a dead railman, or a mother searching for her lost infant.
She often played the mourning mother, leading the teens into brambles and ditches. It got boring though, so she decided to go check out the Kelpie's pond, just to see how he was doing. Plus she had not had any eye candy as a "ghost". Every girl needs eye candy. She popped in very quickly, using some energy she stored from the ley lines. However, Oberon had thought of this, and she was trapped.....
"Aaaaaaaaaaagggghhhhhhh! What the fuck? A damn gold cage? Are you fucking kidding me?"
"Well, Pixie, I never knew you liked me, til Oberon set up the trap. I wish I had known before your Consort status... But I feel honored you would come back for me" the Kelpie even had the nerve to wink at her, his black silky hair blowing in the wind. He was so good-looking it made her heart hurt. Then Puck, Oberon's left hand pet appeared.
"Boy, you are really stupid. I thought you had at least a modicum of smarts. Nope! Right in the Love trap!" Puck laughed uproariously at his joke. "Love trap, get it?" Which set him off sniggering again.
The Pixie just glowered at both Puck and the eye candy, though looking at the Kelpie uplifted her mood some. He was just so damn pretty. So pretty. Her adoring gazes were interrupted once again by Puck.
"I am just going to leave you here for awhile. Oberon has business elsewhere, so just hang around!" Then Puck vanished laughing at his own joke again.
