Chapter 4 - Realisation

Feeling irritated at the absence of choice of food, Alinore decided to just feed on some nearby stray dogs to douse the fire in her throat. It was terribly pathetic but she was more curious about the state of Mystic Falls now. After hearing glasses clinking, she followed the sound the its source. As she walked into the dimly-lit bar, she saw a pair of eyes stare back.

"Hello Stefan, what in the world is going on? why is everyone gone?" she questioned the pair of eyes.

"We had a truce. In order for the heretics to stop hurting people, we decided to immediately evacuate Mystic Falls and in return, whoever trespasses is free range." answered a voice in the direction of the sound.

Stefan continued to update Alinore on all the things she missed since she left with the Mikaelsons a few years ago. Well, other than anger, Alinore did not know what to feel. She had a soft spot for blonds and after hearing what Caroline and Bonnie went through, she can't help feeling angry. She liked Bonnie because she was fiercely righteous and after hearing all the bullshit she went through, it felt as though she had been slacking for the past few years. Well it wasn't entirely true, she was sent away to another ancient Chinese world and had to stay there to settle some matters. But she felt bad she could not help her friends here.

That night, she decided to find a random house and took the bed. The restrictions of the vampires in this world do not apply to her, for she did not belong here. After collecting her thoughts, she decided to take a nap and decide on where to go instead. She dreamt that night, of the higher ups telling her that the vampires of Mystic Falls have to settle their own problems and she was needed elsewhere, where a greater abomination was waiting to be controlled. That thoroughly puzzled Alinore, for she was sent to Mystic Falls instead of some other place when she was needed elsewhere. But she quickly realised that the higher ups wanted to give her closure. The rest of her dreams were prophetic dreams of the future of this world.
