Chapter 1 - Epilogue

"Miss Natalie Alison, you are the worst person I have ever met! You stole my husband, my inheritance, our parents love. YOU STOLE EVERYTHING OF MINE! How dare you think I'll let you get away with it!" My younger sister yelled at the top of her lungs.

" How can you be calm with this loaded gun is being pointed at you?" Even with a gun pointing at me, I know my sister will never shot me. Of course not.

"I'm calm because I know you, and you are just a kid who needs to let out her anger." I said with a response, "I also know best that you care and love me a lot. We only have each other."

" You're right; I'm not going to shoot you. I'm going kill myself." Turning the gun, she had pointed at me on to her head. The gun's trigger was on! If she were to pull it she would hurt her self. Is she insane?

"Amaya, please don't kill yourself. You don't deserve to do this to yourself. Please, I promise our parents to protect you. Any harm you want to put on yourself infect it on me instead." I begged. I thought she was getting out her anger.

"Natalie, now you're scared! Why weren't you afraid when I pointed the gun at you? Don't answer that because you're just going to making me pity you. I wonder if you feel guilty? I wish I can see what will happen now when I pull the trigger but I can't since I'll be dead. Trust me this won't be the last of me!" With that, the trigger of the gun was pulled.

As her body went down, so did mine. Today I had lost the only family I had left. As l sat there, crying sirens came closer.

Bang,

Bang,

My house door went down. As the cops came in, I knew what they saw. Me, Natalie Allison, a 20-year-old still in college and my younger sister, Amaya Allison, a 19-year-old with a gun beside her and bullet in her head. An ambulance came, I quickly grabbed my sister's hand. There I pulled her birthstone ring and stared at her Sapphire jewel.

If only she knew the truth. She claims I took everything away from her when she was the one who made it be taken away or was until she understands that she is not a teenager anymore. She claimed our parent's love was only given to me. Instead, before they died after their car accident, they ask me to protect my sister and that they loved her also with all their heart. Her part of the inheritance was given to me so I can save her money when she chooses to act like a grown-up and can manage her own money. Her marriage to her ex-husband was ruined because she had cheated on him. I only started dating him because I had fallen in love with him. She was right. I do feel guilty; I should have told her this...
