Friday Morning
Kody's POV
This morning, Lumine and I were practicing trap spells when suddenly one of my spell circles took turn for the worst.
It was supposed to capture people not change their appearance.
Let's just say Lumine is now a girl for the day.
Well heck, even his clothes have changed.
His t-shirt becomes a blouse and his pants became a skirt.
I have to say, he didn't look half bad either.
At least his hair didn't change colors or else dad and the others won't be able to recognize him (her in this case).
On the plus side, female ware wolves can run faster and jump higher than males can.
I just don't understand how I gave her wings.
I walk over the spell book to see if I had the wrong spell and of course I did.
It was a dang gender switch spell for undercover missions in case it if a place didn't allow men into the mix.
I called my dad on my phone tell him about mine and Lumine's little mishap.
Dad told us to look through book to see if there was a counter spell and there sure except we need the light of a full moon to do the spell which isn't until tonight.
It says in the book that there is a pond in our part of the woods that can undo any spell used on any person (human or not). The only side effect is that it only works during a full moon.
As we were waiting for time to pass until Mitsuki's concert, Aiden and I were cooking lunch in the kitchen while Lumine was trying to test out her new wings to see if she fly. After a minute of recollecting herself, she kept calm and gave herself a quick burst of speed then she up into the air like a little bird.
The only mistake she made was not knowing how to steer which caused her to crash right into our kitchen window.
At least she didn't break it or else our meal would be ruined.
Since since concert is around 4 o'clock pm and it's like 1:30 pm, we all took the time to eat lunch and take a shower.
Sherry gave Lumine a dress for her to wear tonight after got out of the shower.
Her dress was white with gold glitter that seemed to sparkle like stars. Since Lumine's hair has a sheen to it, it was a huge compliment.
Once everyone was in their dress clothes, we all headed off to the courtyard of the school for the concert.
While Dad was paying for his admission, Lumine and I found us all some seats in the front row.
Once everyone was seated, the concert was ready to start.
4 hours later
After the concert ended, we walked up to the stage to congratulate Mitsuki for the awesome concert.
"Hi guys, glad you could make it! Who's your friend here?" She asked.
I told her that our "friend" was actually Lumine due to a little misread spell.
While Mitsuki and the others were socializing, we made our way to the pond in order to undo our mistake of a spell.
Once we got to the woods, we saw a bright white light shining the bushes.
As we stepped through the bushes, we saw a huge pond glittering under the light of the moon.
Lumine took a picture to remember this moment and to also to forget where it was.
Lumine gives me his phone and then he walks into the pond.
As he makes it towards the middle, she is bathed in a brilliant white light.
Her hair starts get shorter, the dress turns into a guy's dress clothes, and then the wings sank into Lumine's skin which is now a permanent tattoo.
Once he walked out of the pond, I noticed that he wasn't even wet!
How can you walk into a pond and come out as if you haven't went in?
We turned around and took ourselves a selfie to remember this moment.
I am glad to have such a great friend.
