Chapter 1 - Prologue

That day, on December 25th, Year 2019.

It was snowing. Pure white flakes of snow drifted down onto the ground, creating a peaceful scenery. However, no one would have known that this peaceful scenery would soon be stained by red blotches of blood.

A young fifteen-year-old teen who was currently chatting with his group of friends couldn't have possibly known what was going to happen to him on that special Christmas day.

"MANIAC!" shouted a nearby person.

That group of friends were startled by that shout. One of them turned around and took a step back. A middle-age man wearing torn clothing held a gun in his hands. He was charging forward with his gun pointed ahead, his finger on the trigger.

"Everyone, step aside!" yelled another person.

The group of friends quickly stepped aside. However, one girl stood petrified, her legs locked in place.

"Evelyn, move aside!" shouted one of the friends.

"I... I..."

A memory flashed by. In it, she saw a young girl desperately protecting her father from a man with a gun...

Evelyn closed her eyes, waiting for her death. But even after the gunshot was heard, she was still standing. Yet an ominous dripping noise was heard...

Evelyn eyes widened.

"N-no..."

That fifteen-year-old teen was standing with his arms spread wide with blood dripping down his shirt.

"NO!"

Evelyn caught the collapsing teenager. The man with the gun tried to run away but the group of friends manage to tackle the killer out of anger. Bystanders were calling for the police and the ambulance.

Evelyn didn't pay attention to any of it. Tears trickled down her pale cheeks.

"Why..."

The teenager smiled faintly and his eyes started to close. And he said something that Evelyn would have never forget.
