Chereads / Mister Sliver Fox / Chapter 8 - Yama

Chapter 8 - Yama

Mary yawned drawing in her art class, she missed lessons and had to stay after class to get her assignments done for the day. She decided to go to the library to do more research on the mysterious sliver fox though she still found it interesting in her case. On the other hand, she hasn't seen Mathias since their date, is it bad to say that she doesn't want anything to do with the man she could tell time was slowly running out for her it may be foolish but her heart was telling her something to run away with her child.

"Excuse me, ma'am May I get through here? Mary looked up seeing a male close to her face as she backed up her chair seeing how far out she was, she couldn't help but feel embarrassed.

"Oh sorry, didn't mean to be in your way!?" Mary flustered at her sudden approach.

He shook his head laughing "oh no you're fine, I was going to ask if I could sit next to you. Hope you don't mind?"

Mary took her things out of the chair placing them on the other side of her he thanked her as he sat down next to her. Black hair with gorgeous grey-colored eyes somewhat muscular with a slender but had a very tone body.

"Oh sorry to be so cute my name is Yamamuro Shunso but you can call me Yama." He said as he typed away on his laptop.

"It's nice to meet you Yama I'm Mary Price. Hope we can be good friends, what are you working on by the way."

"Just a couple of essays that need to be done, I see that your drawing is for one of your classes?"

Mary smiled "Yeah it's pretty important my um husband kinda helped me out but he hasn't been around much not like he used to be."Mary frowned at her choice of words.

Yama stopped typing and scanned over his typed essay he felt her pain but to realize that she's married and doing college will take a toll on her eventually. On the inside he was happy as a butterfly, he finally found his wife. He could sense her pressure but he was never sure where her location was.

"Is it easy to be married and still go to college?"

She laughed "Yes and no it's a bit of a struggle. I don't think my husband loves me anymore."

Yama Frowned "Love fades away he might be cheating on you."

"Oh he's been cheating on me for the longest time, I know he is -"Mary puts her hand on her forehead she shouldn't be talking to strangers about her problems it would get worst. Yama placed his hand on her back rubbing it slightly Mary somehow smiled the stress was becoming overbearing in her opinion.

"Why be with a man that constantly cheats on you, he should make you feel loved every second of the day. I don't see a wedding ring on your finger did he not give you one?"

Mary shook her head not even realizing that she never got a ring from him maybe he simply forgot or simply didn't care. She shouldn't just make assumptions but her memory was becoming clear and vibrant of her past life.

"Mary I think you should be with someone who's going to make you happy not hurt you in the process of your marriage than as you know it you guys will just end up getting a divorce. Is that something you want?"

"I don't know it's been a few days I've been a bit worried he hasn't been here for at least a couple of days. I just want someone who is going to be there for me other than hurting me in the process."

Marty smiled go herself trying her best not to cry. Yama stood up putting his things away as he extended his hand to Mary she looked up at him with wonder him her eyes.

"Can I take you somewhere? Do you have a favorite place?"Yama smiled at her, making Mary blush.

Mary put her things up as well grabbing a hold of his hand "Well anywhere is fine? I just need to relax and need to have fun, I think I'm missing out on that. I'm kinda lonely is it bad to say that."

"Not at all I sometimes feel like that so you're not alone there, let's go!" Yama pulled her closer to his body as she blushed at his excitement. Rushing out of the library he took her somewhere pretty close to her home a cafe of some sort, more so of a romantic cafe with a lot of Couples.

The outside of the café was filled with paper-shaped hearts and a flower stand. Mary looked down slightly thinking about the argument that led Mathias to leave her for a couple of days or more she hadn't counted his departure since then. Yama nudged her with a warm-hearted smile that somehow made her stomach catch butterflies. She couldn't explain it but she felt an instant spark between them.

"Well then since we're here, we can maybe have a bit of fun. I want to get your mind off of this Mathias guy and enjoy the time you have here."

Mary smiled "Thank you Yama ."

They both went inside as a Waiter sat them at a table enjoying themselves with studies and tricks/tips they could use to better themselves at their craft. While Mary was studying Yama looked over to the window and saw Mathias in the distance fuming with anger, his face was bright red and his fist clenched tightly. Yama gave him a sly smile, loving the attention he so-called received from his lover wondering what he might do though he didn't care. He could sweep her off her feet just like he, Yama did that long time ago when she wasn't with Mathias, they had a child together and even got married in secret.

They were completely happy but Mathias became head leader of the clan he needed a wife so if the leader died then the wife would someone would take his place. Of course, Yama was heartbroken but he was determined to win her over even if it gets him killed in the process.

"Yama you alright, you have been looking at the window for a while is something bothering you?"

Yama looked at her tilting his head slightly" Oh just some rodent I noticed in the distance, don't worry it's gone for now. let's say I have my ways of making people angry but I don't care." Yama said with a huge smile plastered on his face.

Mary was about to look out the window when Yama puts something in front of her face to keep her distracted which only made Mathias more upset in a sense.

"Mary why don't you look at this menu for a second you might find something you like to eat.

Mary smiled "Thank you I'll pay-"

"You don't have to pay for it, it's on me."

She nodded her head slowly looking at the menu and carefully deciding what to get. Yama took a peek out the window seeing Mathias's figure disappear, nearly causing him to smirk wondering what would be next up to his sleeve.
