Ji-hyun sat at her favorite spot at the in town coffee shop. Her computer stared back at her, giiving her a headache. She wanted to write the next big seller, but had no clue how. None of her ideas had an appeal to her. All of her ideas had seemed common to her and at some point, she attributed it to her surroundings. Stereotypical writers come to the coffee shop to write pages of a book that no one will see. Ji-hyun crashed he face into the keyboard and hoped that it would make a better story than anything she could come up with.He phone alarm signal that her hour had come to an end.
She quickly checked her social media accounts and just as her writing, there was nothing new on her pages. No one wanted to pay or take advice froma Dominatrix with no experience. She sent a push notification to her friend, asking them to like her pages. She packed up her things and hopped in her car to head across town to pick up her partner. Tate had just finished a counseling session as he entered the car. He tried to hold her hand but she refused.
"How was your session?"
"It was ok."
Tate declined to offer anymore information and Ji-hyun did not bother pushing. Their relationship had soured a few years back. The incident had left them both upset and callous towards eachother yet, they never addressed it. Just like the incident, they do not talk about it.
"Did your mom feed the kids?"
"I don't know." She replied.
He fiddled with his keys. "Juju. This silence after i get done therapy, it needs to stop. "
"It will stop on my own time."
"Juju, it is just therapy."
"Tate, i do not see why YOU need to go to therapy."
"It was very traumatizing."
The silence grew.
That was usually how the arguments ended. It was traumatizing but, they do not talk about it.
Ji-hyun pulled into their driveway and kept the car running. Tate gathered his things and held the door handle.
"You aren't coming in?" He asks but, he already knows the answer.
"I'll wait until she is gone." She turns her ehad to face the hedge as she grabs her phone.
"She is your mother."
"That never stopped things before did it."
Tate scoffs and heads inside the house before sending Ji-hyun's mother out. Daisy stops to knock on Ji-hyun's window. Ji-hyun does not open the window. Instead she checks her phone. From Sushi mix to Facebook, she checks everything to avoid Daisy. When Ji-hyun looks up, Daisy is gone. Ji-hyun stays in her car longeer for extra measure as he phone pings.
-hyunny! We need to go to the club tonight! St.Andrews is having a super awesome d/s mixer tonight!
Usually, when Keri invited her out, she declined. Today Ji-hyun felt like she needed to take a break.
-see you at 10
She shot Keri a text then headed inside. Tate was busy reading their girls a bedtime story as Ji-hun walked by.
"I'm leaving for St.Andrews in an hour." She announced.
Tate put two fingers up in the air and motioned them in a circle without breaking from the story. Ji-hyun nodded before smiling at Rini and Neli as she said goodnight. Once she reached the bedroom, she changed into a simple black cocktail dress and kitten heels. Sitting at the vanity, she sweeped on a very light amount of makeup. She wanted to accent her natural looks without attracting too much attention tonight. As she finished, Tate slipped a thing black collar around her neck and locked it in place with a small padlock.
"Remember who you belong to when you go to St. Andrews tonight."
She turns her head away in defiance but, he grabs her chin and forces her to look at him.
"Juju. Who do you belong to?"
She looks at him with pain in her eyes before slowly kissing his cheek.
"...you..."
