Chapter 1 - Episode 1: Pilot

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to a long awaited event. In one corner we have a Jedi, Cass Klein. In the other corner we have a bounty hunterrrr." An announcer says.

A man with a white robe on, walks out into the colosseum. He reaches into his robe pulling out a lightsaber handle. He turns the weapon on, a blue light igniting and extending from the handle.

A bounty hunter, walks out from a entrance on the opposite side of the stadium. There'd be a familiar logo, or tattoo on the bounty hunter's arm, where in the last match they were in, damaged their armor.

"Mandalorian..." The Jedi would say, quietly.

The mandalorian grabs something that hung, right on their side. He ignites, what looks like a dark saber.

Both of them circle around, waiting for each other to slip up or strike first. Cass Klein and the Mandalorian jump at the same exact time, right towards each other. Their sabers come into contact, the Mandalorian moves his arm up, right in front of the Jedi's face. Cass kicks the man's arm, forcing it into the air where a bullet fires into the air.

"And that would've been bad for Cass Klein if he stood there and didn't do anything against that." The announcer says.

Cass Klein runs right at the Mandalorian, he then jumps right into the air, force pushing the Mandalorian into the ground before landing behind them, he force pushes the mandalorian once more, right into a pillar. Cass grabs his lightsaber throwing it like a boomerang at the opponent. The Mandalorian grabs their dark saber, slashing at the saber, slicing it in half. He jumps into the air, his jet pack starting as he flies towards Cass.

Cass tries force jumping once more to get out of the way, the opponent fires another bullet from the gun that sat on his forearm. The bullet shoots into Cass' knee before he is able to jump out fo the way, instead of jumping he collapses, he knee falling to the ground. The Mandalorian grabs his dark saber, and lands behind Cass.

"You failed my son..Cass.." The Mandalorian says.

The Mandalorian disconnects the Jedi's head from his body, blood dripping from the corpse as it falls to the ground.

I wake up, screaming, sitting up quickly. I look around my room, a couple Mandalorian banners hanging from the ceiling, a Mandalorian helmet sits on my desk, across the room next to a walk in closet. The helmet used to belong to my mother, before she passed away suddenly. By the windows, with a couple more Mandalorian logos on the blinds and the curtains. A table sits, with a couple projects laying beside it and around it, where room to fit a tall droid, a droid I have been working on for a while but haven't gotten very far with unfortunately. I call him Drillbit, some days he works fine, some days he straight up pisses me off because I cant understand how to get him to be active longer than a couple hours. I hope to one day figure it out and have my very own droid by my side. Drillbit is a full silver droid, with a little bit of black and gold around him. I made a gun that fits just perfectly into Drillbit's grip. I look back at my desk, where a couple picture frames sit, my father, my mother, my older sister, and myself in it looking like a great family. After my mother passed away, my sister left us, she went to go study somewhere. I can never remember because I don't really care about it honestly. My father became very distant but he's still my father who I sometimes hate to call my father. In another frame myself, a girl, and a younger boy, in it are happy. The girl is Thalia Richards a close friend since forever, the boy is John John, yeah kind of a weird name Thalia and I always make fun of his name, Thalia is a very pretty girl, she has long black hair, blue eyes, her personality is why I might like her a lot honestly, she never stops trying to get what she wants, she gets back up whenever she's knocked down, she's very competitive if you lose to her in anything you'll never hear the end of it. John is a intelligent guy, very uhm I guess bigger than what some people might say, I'm just trying to say it in a nicer way...Just be careful around him he always has this habit of having to belly dance whenever someone new is around, embarrass himself, or embarrass his only friends. My computer also sits on the desk, where I have a code ready to transfer to my droid whenever he's ready to activate.

The door to my room, opens. My father walks in.

"You okay, son?" He asks calmly.

"Yeah, dad, just a dream.." I reply.

"You've been having these for a while now, they began when you were a child, and now they seem to be getting worse." He says, worried.

"Dad, I'm fine it was just a dream, no need to be worried." I lie, honestly freaking out about what just happened.

"Okay, son. But, just know that I'll always worry about you." He says, still worried. "But, you should get cleaned up, and come downstairs for breakfast. I made your favorite chocolate chip waffles, with whipped cream on them, strawberries, maple syrup and some bacon on the side."

My mouth drops. "Better save some for me, dad" I glare, getting hungry by the thought of those waffles. I jump out of bed, going into my walk in close to grab some clean clothes. I walk into the bathroom to clean up.

I look in the mirror, seeing a 16 year old in the reflection. He has black hair, a muscular body, green eyes. I removing my shirt revealing where a fresh cut along my chest rests. Dried blood stained to my shirt. I sigh remembering last night, I had gotten home, and my father was a drunken mess. I tried getting him to his room, I made a couple mistakes a couple days before. He was very angry last night, and attacked me. Some days I would just love to runaway and leave him, I just can't stand the guy anymore. I get my clothes off and go clean up.

After I finish cleaning up and changing into a fresh pair of clothes. My jacket with black and green, my pants black. I walk out of my bathroom, over to the window to open the curtains, and the blinds, revealing my home, Mandalore. Some ships would be entering and exiting the planet delivering or receiving goods, some on missions for the leader of the Mandalorians, if I didn't mention it before, my father is the leader of the Mandalorians.

I open the window, to let some fresh air into the room. I go downstairs to grab some breakfast, seeing my friends at the table joining us.

"Hey Thalia, and John." I say, happy to see them.

"Hey Brady!" Thalia says, seeming to also be happy to see me.

"Hi!" John says with a mouth full of food.

"I hope you saved some breakfast for me." I say, with hope in my chest.

"Just in time, John almost ate everything." Thalia laughs.

I sit down beside Thalia, her hair was pulled up into a ponytail, she wore a yellow t-shirt, and blue shorts, her brand new Mandalorian earrings add to the beauty.

John keeps his hair down, he never does anything to it by the way. He wears a red t-shirt, with long grey pants on.

I quickly grab some breakfast, before John can devour everything.

"So, how's your droid coming along?" Thalia asks.

"It's coming slow, I can never get him to stay active for more than four hours. I feel like a failure honestly."

"Hey! Don't give up, in the end it'll be worth it. You'll be able to say you made your very own droid." She says, trying to be encouraging.

"Thanks Thalia." I say, happy that she's not letting me give up.

"Alright kiddos, I have to get going. Brady don't forget to lock up before you leave." My father says.

"Yes sir." I say, trying to avoid eye contact with him.

Both Thalia and John notice the conflict between us.

"Bye, sir." Thalia says.

"Bye." John waves.

As soon as my dad leaves, Thalia looks at me.

"Did something happen between you two again?" She asks concerned.

"Yeah, some days I just want to run away and not look back." I finish eating.

John grabs more food, stuffing his face. "Can we take a look at the droid?" He says with a mouth full of food.

"Maybe later, John."

"We better get going anyways. Our teacher is going to kill us if we're late." Thalia says.

"Yeah, I'm not dying today." I get up, grabbing their plates to put them in the dishwasher.

"But I'm still hungry!" John says, sad.

"You're always hungry John." I say, grabbing my adventure backpack instead of my school backpack.

"Uh, Brady, that's not the backpack you have for school.." Thalia says.

"I know, that's because I'm not going to school." I say, smirking.

"Uh, really you're gonna leave me with her?" John says, worried.

Thalia punches him.

"OW!" He yells. "What was that for?!"

"Being a douche." She says. "Anyways." She turns to me. "You can't skip class.."

"Watch me, Thalia."

"First, tell me where you're going." She says.

"Don't do it Brady." John says, smirking.

"Somewhere, I need to check something out."

"Like?" She asks.

"This is going to sound absurd, but I had this dream..."

"You're right that does sound absurd. Anyways, what exactly happened in this "dream"?" She asks.

"There was this Jedi.."

"A Jedi was in the dream?" John asks concerned. "You know they aren't good people, Brady."

I look at Thalia to help me out here.

She nods. "John, wait, lets hear what happened first." She says, not knowing if this was the right call or not.

"It all seemed so real, they were in a colosseum, similar to the one here on Mandalore, except it was much, much bigger. There was a fight between the Jedi, and a Mandalorian."

"Wait, there was a Mandalorian?" John asks, confused.

I nod. "They were in this intense battle, in the end, the Jedi lost, and his head was decapitated from the body.."

"Okay, you could've left some details out.." Thalia says, grossed out.

"Wait, what was the name of this Jedi?" John asks.

"His name was..." I pause trying to recall their name. "Cass..."

"Cass Klein?" John asks.

"Yeah.." I say confused. "How'd you know that name?"

"One word, nerd." Thalia says, chuckling.

"So, can I go?" I ask, looking her in her eyes.

"Nope." John says.

"Finally he says something that I agree with-" She gets cut off.

"Not without backup you ain't." He smirks.

Thalia sighs, "You guys can go, I'm staying out of it." She grabs her bag, heading to school.

John shrugs. "So, where does our bromance take us?"

"To the colosseum." I say, walking into the garage.

"This doesn't look like a colosseum." John says, following.

I look at him, glaring. "I know that. This is why I came in here." I pick up a long, black case.

"What is that?" He asks, curious.

"A DLT-19, also known as a Heavy Blaster Rifle." I say, swinging It over my shoulders, resting it on my back.

I grab keys to one of two landspeeders. I walk over to the gold one, setting the case behind the seats. I jump into the drivers side of the speeder.

"I'm horrified." John says. "I think I should've went with Thalia.."

"Don't be a chicken, John."

"I'm not a chicken!" He yells.

"Prove it then." I smirk.

He gulps before hopping into the other seat.

We soon take off, heading towards the colosseum...
