Alright, remember when I said that this would be hard? It kinda is, sorry if I dont go on full detail.
Well, I started to like her sometime during my Freshman Year. Next thing I knew, she was dating one of my friends. At that point I didn't care well cause, you know. Plus I really wouldn't call them my friends at this point, more like aquantece. Then my Sophomore Year, I started to have some feelings but they weren't all that there yet.
During 3rd period, her, me and another friend of ours would sit in the back of the room and just talk shit to each other. At one point, I started to really like her then the bell rang and those feelings disappeared. I remember sometimes me and her would watch, Lucifer, on her phone and just chill out. There were moments where we got to close to each other, but it didn't seem to bother her none, so it didn't bother me none.
This year, I dont know what happened and know the full story behind it, but they broke up. What I heard was that he didn't text her or call her all summer. She tried to text him but he wouldn't reply. This made me both sad and glad. One she was available. Two the crew we once had is broken apart. Sophomore Year, those two were really the glue to all out friends and now that they have broken up. It's a whole lot different. I can tell you that.
Now, during homecoming some of our friends hung out there. After my football game I went up to the school and chilled there. Minded my own business, saw my stepbrother there too with his girlfriend, which I helped him get btw. Saw my friends and hung out with them. Boy it was a wild night, best school dance I've ever been in.
During one of the songs, all of the friends but me and the girl were dancing. I was tired and couldn't anymore, so I looked around to see where I could sit. The girl stood by me. She said, "We are just 'single pringles' huh?" I replied, "Yeah, can't help it when no one likes me." I smiled after. We ended up sitting on the floor and if no one interrupted us, I think we would be together today. But that couldn't happen one of our friends saw us and sat with us and starting talking about the dance.
I had enough money for us to take a picture together, so I rounded up all of my friends and we took a picture. I still have the picture, it's in my wallet now. I would never forget that night, we had a blast and I think we could've worked out if I just had asked her out when she hinted about it.
Things are the usual though. In the end she got a boyfriend, who lives quite aways from here. I dont mind at all though, because she has never been more happy. We still talk of course, I mean she is still a friend. Plus, there is more girls out there than just the one. I just haven't found her yet.
