Ferris was hesitant or rather nervous to approach him, he took a deep breath before walking forward to wake him up. One step, two steps, three steps then four steps, Ferris was now right in front of him. He reached out his hand in order shake his shoulder to wake him up but before he could even touch him, the beast slowly woke up. It surely wasn't a coincidence, it's as if the beast had radar installed inside his body to detect any objects approaching him.
""hey, can I go out" Ferris said to him while his lips was slightly trembling
"... Alright but I have to follow you" he replied while rubbing his eyes, it seemed like he was also sleeping
The giant slowly got up, it felt like an entire mountain was about to walk on two legs. Ferris felt something as the giant beast stood up, was it just him or he felt that the entire building was shaking just from the beast standing up. Doesn't matter Ferris said to himself, as long as nothing bad happened it's fine.

It was quiet but peaceful and soothing, the many plazas inside the building only had a few people. Only a few lights were open so the place was mostly dark, most of the stores were closed but some stores were open 24/7. Some of the adventurers were wearing full gear as if they had a night shift and some just wore pajamas, some loitered around with gear sometimes drenched with fresh blood and some just drank coffee.
(.. Moonbucks? Isn't that a ripoff of another papular coffeehouse? Whatever, im too lazy to find the original one) Ferris thought
He approached the coffeehouse which basically had zero customers, he ordered his food and quietly sat down on a dining table outside the coffeehouse. His meal was nothing unusual, an ordinary coffee with a side of sandwich and eggs. Although he ate his early breakfast peacefully, it was kinda weird for a beast sitting right in front of Ferris eating.
"oh? Siddra, why are up so early?" A woman asked
She suddenly came out of nowhere to drop by, she wore simple civilian clothing but that simple clothing didn't match her sheer preference at all. She had long white hair with ocean eyes, this beautiful appearance of hers triggered something inside Ferris's head, it was similar to when you hear a familiar word and you suddenly end up remembering the whole sentence with that one specific word attached to it.
(huh... It's that orphan kid who greeted me before I died) Ferris thought with a mediocre expression
"oh! is this a new friend of yours Siddra?" the woman said
"Im just keeping an eye on h-
"I'm Artria, you?" she said while reaching her out hand out to Ferris
Ferris was surprised by her straightforwardness, Ferris quickly shaked her hand while answering her questions. When he said his name was Ferris, she was just as surprised as him. To her it felt like that single word brought a whole flood of memories inside her head which made her brain go numb for a while, she sat down on a chair right beside Ferris while holding her hot forehead, it was hot probably because her brain was calculating too many lost information, similar to a computer.
"aah.. Ferris.."
"ise bothering you?" Ferris asked
"no it's just... it's the name of my dad, he's dead so it feels weird calling you Ferris" Artria replied
"could you tell me about your dad then" Ferris asked again but he already knew what he was like
They chatted for a while, it seemed like talking about her dad relieved her for some reason. All the things she said about her dad was to be expected by Ferris, honestly for him, it was like rewatching your same favorite movie for the tenth time but some of the things she said was surprising for him.
"it was so annoying, be nice, sharing is caring, be nice blah blah blah.. He really nailed that into our heads" Artria complained but still she had a smiling expression
"how nice, my father is similar to him"
"we're in the same boat then, hehe..."
"how about you? Could you tell me more about yourself" Ferris asked yet again
Artria looked at the clock to check what time it currently is, surprisingly they still had a good hour till the sun pops out of the ground. She was still willing to talk to him because she had nothing else to do, in fact she was pretty happy to be with him.
"well.. You already know my name, I'm just an adventurer who works here nothing much"
"oh, then what rank are you on?" Ferris curiously asked
"heh.. You really wanna know, Diamond S-rank.. did that fulfill your desires? Oh and~ Siddra is also a diamond S-rank"
Ferris was honestly shocked, to think that this girl was at the top of the ranks. Ferris even had a hard time replying to that answer of hers.
"shocking right? I'd be a normal farmer if it hadn't been for Sabaoth, if it weren't for him I'd never even knew how much potential I had... Even dad said he had bad influence but I don't agree with him one bit" She said while looking into an empty dining table
