The dinner lasts longer then expected and we're both forced to stand there for at least three hours.
Considering I had been shot just a few of those hours ago I was in quite a bit of pain, so much so I could feel myself start to sweat.
(Why do their dinners last this long...Please just hurry up...)
Just as I think that thought Rode stands up along with two men I hadn't recognized and the mansions head master.
"Master Rode, would you like one of my maids to escort you down? I'll show the way but I must get back to my dying wife once I get you to the doors."
Rode nods while smirking.
"That's fine, I understand."
Just like that the head maid nudged me towards them. I follow them close behind. It wasn't long before we reached a sound proof dungeon. The mansions master bids us farewell and I quickly unlock the door, I hold the door open as they all walk in.
As soon as a lantern is lit my heart skipped beats as the sight before me was indeed heart wrenching.
There had to be at least 100 people or so all throughout these dungeons. Each one either looked, beaten, starved or already dead.
(All of these poor people, I hope that the boys are ok.)
I quickly become nervous thinking about the boys as we continue forward. After a minute we finally reach a rather large cage, in the cage sat three men who I immediately recognized. I became so over joyed to finally see them I couldn't help but smile under my mask.
(They are alive, that's so relieving!)
But before I could continue with my happy thoughts Rode's voice over powered my thoughts.
"Well, if it isn't Kirito, Suzuku and Kazuki's younger brother Ash! You know...A lot of people have been looking for you!"
The boys stayed silent as they looked at each other. Rode continues to talk to them either way.
"If it's the silent treatment I have the perfect way to get you to talk!"
Before I could react I'm pushed from behind and Rode grabs ahold of my wrist pushing me up against the cage bars where my back is facing Rode.
"Talk now or I'll suck this beautiful lady's blood dry! Where is Yuki, Kana and the kid!"
(I can not afford to fight at a time like this, all I can hope for one of the boys to notice me.)
Just like clockwork as soon as Kirito lifts his head up to see me his eyes looked shocked for a second but quickly goes back to his normal cold self before responding to Rode.
"Fine, it's not like you won't find out sooner or later...She's on a island. But I haven't been there, that's all I know."
Kirito grits his teeth as he speaks to make it more realistic. Rode snickers before letting me go.
"Good, I'm glad you came to your senses! But..."
My relief was short lived as I'm again forced back up against the bars. But this time I'm facing Rode as he immediately bites down into my shoulder.
"I'll still take some blood from this free loader."
(No matter how badly I want to kill him right now...I'm just going to have to put up with this for a bit longer if I want to rescue the boys.)
Kirito instantly tries to reach me but Suzuku and Ash quickly stop him. Suzaku was the first to speak up.
"Stop, we gave you what you wanted so leave the girl alone!"
Rode snickers and detaches from me, I slide down to the ground to try to catch my breath and Rode laughs even more as he stares at me.
"Why leave this cutie alone, look she's even blushing right now!"
I quickly feel my cheeks and in a way he was right but it wasn't from him...I quickly realize what its from and silently gulp.
(No, I have an infection from the wound...)
Rode silently leaves as I sit there for a moment until I hear the doors close behind them, once clear I quickly turn around to see Kirito, Susaku, and Ash. They looked as handsome as ever and not in terrible condition. Kirito puts his hand through the bars to cup my cheek.
"You weren't supposed to come, are you alone?"
I shake my head and hand him the keys.
"Here are the keys, in 2 hours make your escape, I'll try to find a way to clear everyone away from the exits."
Kirito nods, his face quickly going from serious to compassionate.
"You have a fever don't you?"
I shake my head.
"It's nothing, let's get everyone out of here. Break out time is in exactly 2 hours so be ready!"
They nod and I quickly leave to start preparing for the next step of the mission. I locate a young nurse and began to spread rumors.
"Hey, did you hear?!"
The maid looked a bit curious and shrugged.
"No, what?"
I look her dead in the eyes with the most serious face I could manage.
"Once master Rode came out of the dungeon he started to get very sick, they think he was poisoned!"
The other maid gasps and covers her mouth.
"So what are they going to do?"
The other maid shivers.
"They just announced they are pulling every kitchen maid in for an interview, lucky for us we didn't have kitchen duty today."
(This isn't good...I need to move fast or else I'll surly get caught. If Rode is sick he probably got sick from drinking my blood, They will surly find out in no time.)
I go around leaving little clues in different areas, I place my name tag outside the door on the opposite end of the house away from the back entrance which is closest to the dungeon doors. I then write a note near the front entrance for Rode.
I smirked knowing how much Rode was going to be mad after reading it. The note said.
"Hope you liked my infectious blood, Love Yuki."
(This should hold them off for a little while, I still have about 20 minutes left, I need to get the guards all at the front of the house.)
I walk outside in the cold night and get one guards attention.
"Sir, Master requests everyone to go to the front of the house to do patrol, They think master Rode was poisoned and that the culprit is planning to escape out the front somewhere!"
The guard immediately looked horrified and nods.
"I understand, I'll gather them now!"
He immediately runs off and I silently smile.
(So far so good, now all that's left is for the boys to come out.)
I go back inside and grab a random coat off a coat rack. It was long and heavy so it helped cover part of my body. I patiently wait by the backdoor watching the time slowly go by, Right at the dot I hear the door open next to me and out walks the boys.
"Oh thank God you all are ok, lets get out of here quickly!"
Kirito nods.
"We have the other prisoners coming too, they agreed to make a rucus so we can get away faster, lets move now."
He grabs ahold of my hand and the 4 of us scour the wall and run through the woods.
