Just as he reached me I duck and go in for the blow to his heart. But just before I make contact, someone kicks him away from me and grabs ahold of my wrist.
"What-The..."
A tall man with a blank expression and long silver-white hair, slender white eyes stood in front of me.
The other guy quickly stands back up and is also stunned to see the man.
"Zaki? What the hell man!"
The man Zaki narrows his eyes to me and then back at his friend.
"I don't understand how stupid you are to go up against an attack like that. If she would have successfully hit your heart you would have died instantly!"
The guy I was just fighting stumbles on his words as he realizes his mistake.
"I-I...well your here now so you deal with it then!"
(Oh no...)
I try to pull away but he had a firm grip around my wrist. He narrows his eyes back towards me.
"My pleasure."
(Crap, what can I do? I already used up most of my magic in that final attack...)
Before I could react it was as if he had vanished and appeared directly behind me with one of my arms pinned behind my back and his free hand holding my chin tilting my neck to reveal it.
"I'll just drink her blood till she passes out."
I shudder at that thought and begin to squirm. Just as he gets close to my neck I swing my head into his nose. He stumbles back letting go of me to clutch his face.
"Damn this brat, Hoko get her!"
Just as they both rush in I make a few hand signs and chant some words in my head.
(Snow flies high and as thick as fog.)
Just then the snow from the ground rises up into the air causing a thick fog no one not even myself can see through, I take this opportunity to grab my perfume and pour it out everywhere and some onto the some around me. I then run in the opposite direction. I don't stop until I reach an abandoned house which I take shelter in to redress my wound.
(If he can smell me from a long way then that perfume should mask my scent for the time being.)
I finish dressing my wound and sit back to think about my options.
(I have two already tailing me, the boys were more than likely caught by them to considering I'm so close to the corrodents they sent us. I can't be risked being caught if this isn't right. This may just be a coincidence.)
I sigh and stand back up to keep moving.
(I guess I should go scout this place out first.)
I make my way to the corrodents.
(Zaki pov)
"Damn, she got away...Hoko you good?"
Silence.
"Hoko?"
The snow slowly starts to lighten up. I take a look around to see Hoko laying on the ground half unconscious.
"Hoko what happened to you?!"
Hoko covers his nose.
"She poured perfume everywhere and now that's all I can smell. There's so much of it my nose is burning!."
I shake my head in disbelief.
"Idiot..."
(Yuki pov)
After reaching my destination I come across a mansion. I scour the wall and make my way around the building scouting the entire thing outside. Once finished I make my way inside and quickly notice the maids.
(If I can dress like them then I could easily blend in.)
After careful examination, I find one of their rooms and take an extra maid's outfit. Luckily they wear face masks because of cleaning dust all day. I pull my hair up into a ponytail and walk out slowly closing the door behind me. I grab a broom and make my way to different rooms.
After several minutes of other people walking around me, I take the next step and find the kitchen where various maids are cooking and cleaning.
After arriving, I'm instantly stunned as someone grabs my arm and pulls me inside.
"Good, you must be the new maid Lilly right?"
While my heart feels like it's about to pound out of my chest I gulp and shake my head timidly yes.
"Awesome, we're behind and need your help at the moment or else we all will be punished so hurry!"
She hands me a name badge that says Lilly on it and directs me to a station to put already made plates on to the treys ready to be taken out. I do as I am told and once were finished she then directs me to follow her out.
"Ok, follow me out and always serve the food in the middle so everyone can choose what they want to eat. Also, do not make eye contact with Master Rode, or else hell get angry!"
Stunned by the news of Rode being here I feel a bit dazed from the information. I quickly nod and grab ahold of the tray and follow her out.
(At this point there is no use arguing with her, I don't want to give myself away at the very start. Besides this might be a great opportunity to find out some things.)
As we approach the dining room I can feel my heart race even more. We enter and place the food where I was directed to. After that, I follow her lead and stand next to her as we watch them eat. In the center sat Rode, on his right side sat Kazuki, everyone else I did not recognize. They paid no attention to us maids as they are, talking about various subjects.
"The food is great, now onto the reason why we're here. We were told you caught three people that resemble some of our most wanted. After dinner, I'd like to have a word with them."
A man sitting next to them nods with a big smile.
"Of course your excellency."
(I need to know more, I'm sure they are talking about Kirito and the others!)
I look to the maid who then looks at me.
"Are you curious as well?"
I nod.
"Yes ma'am, I want to learn more so I can do my job better!"
She smiles softly at me and then hands me some keys.
"Ok, just follow them when they leave, then you can unlock the doors for them but...I'm only doing this because you asked for it...just be wary when you go down there..."
I gulp as she speaks but nod.
(She willingly gave these to me, the conditions down there must be traumatizing...Lucky for me I'm used to this kind of stuff.)
I clutch the keys in confidence.
