Headmaster Chen looks around the room before sighing a long sigh.
"I've got some good news and some bad news, I'll start with the good news!"
He pauses for a moment before continuing.
"Kana had her baby this morning and it's a perfectly healthy baby boy!"
I smile thinking about the baby as he mentions the topic.
(He sure is a handsome little guy, I so adore this child already.)
I feel Kirito throw his arm around my shoulders, I look up to see him smirking as Headmaster Chen continues.
"The bad news...I got word a little while ago that the vampire king died last night."
Shocked by what he says I immediately sit up and began to question Chen.
"What?! How did he die??"
Chen sighs before answering.
"It's still under investigation but rumors have been going around that his first born son Rode quickened his illness causing him to pass away. Rode has since taken over the thrown and is now planning on a world wide attack."
My thoughts begin racing as I try to think of any possible reason for him to quicken his death but none come to mind.
(Rode doesn't seem to be the type of textbook ruling. He's got a plan but what is it?)
Just as I linger on my thoughts Chen continues to talk.
"There's more to the story...President Akira asked Rode what his intentions were and wether or not they could sign a treaty, What Rode said was he only wanted three things then he'd leave everyone in peace."
Kadachi stands up anxiously.
"Well? what are the three things?!"
Chen looks at Me then back at Kanas room.
"He wants Yuki, Kana's child and complete rule over every nation willingly. He said in return he'd let things stay the same just the only difference would be that everything he said to do or not to do would be law."
Kirito stands up immediately and shakes his head.
"No way, What did president Akira say?!"
Chen shakes his head and lowers his eyes.
"He agreed."
As Chen says those two words complete silence fills the room. Suzaku was first to break it.
"Considering we are here, Even though he agreed there is nothing he can do to locate us, So at this time we still have the upper hand to turn this all around because there's no way in hell will I ever agree to hand over two innocent lives plus an entire nation."
Kirito also chimes in as well.
"Suzaku is right, why not lay low for awhile and figure out a strategy, that way we can take them by surprise. I don't think President Akira willingly said yes to any of these demands. Something must have happened when we left."
Chen nods and turns towards me as he speaks.
"Ok then I guess it's settled, Let's all train, and strategize. If we can watch in the dark silently and see what goes on in the world around us then we can have a better understanding in all of this. As of right now we are rogues to our home and to our nation. To this day and forward let's make an effort to break this never ending cycle of war."
Feeling anxious about the whole ordeal I lean back into my seat to think about it all.
(What Chen says is right. No matter how much I want to help everyone right now we aren't strong enough alone. We must wait and strike at the right moment. Only then can we obtain some kind of peace.)
I feel a someones hand grab mine and look up to see Kirito.
"Since we're going to be here for awhile, Let's go to our little spot to train."
I couldn't help but smile at his gentle face at this moment. It was at this moment I finally felt that even though what we want in this life will be hard to obtain. Doing it alongside the people we love and care about makes things a little bit easier.
I nod and he helps me to my feet.
"Sure lets go before anyone tries to follow us."

sorry that this chapter is short and took me awhile to release but I wanted to work on season 2 so that you all will not have to wait as long as u did for season one to be completed.
