After calming Kana down we said our goodnights and she hands me the envelope as she leaves for her room. I walk back into my room seeing that Kirito had fallen asleep on my bed I set the envelope inside a book on my shelf deciding to not look at it until I was alone, I then walk up to a sleeping Kirito and notice something I never really realized before.
(Kirito looks so cute when he's peacefully asleep, He truly looks at peace.)
I silently smile at his gorgeous looks and then turn off my light and climb into bed soon falling asleep as well.
(The next morning Saturday)
Upon waking up I felt strong arms around me keeping me in place, I try to move but hear Kirito's husky voice from behind.
"Just a few more minutes babe..."
I instantly blush at the word 'babe.'
"Geez, Kirito we have things to do today let me go haha..."
I say as I giggle from him tickling me. Finally, after wrestling him for a few minutes to get out of bed I succeeded and make my way to the bathroom to freshen up leaving him to his groggy state on my bed.
Once I have finished getting ready for the day I walk back into my room to see Kirito has left, I decide to leave and close the door behind me. While on my way out I'm met by Kadachi.
"Hey short stuff, we gotta head to the council room for an emergency meeting so don't be late, got it?"
Before I could retort back to his comment he runs off catching up to Kana and Naiomi who had already started to head that way. As I walk to the room I realize It'll be my first time here since becoming a member of this school. I never really went here since I had no need. I start to become worried about what it could be about, Once I finally arrive, everyone was already in their seats from night class to day class, each seat had their names on it and mine was on the right-hand side of Kirito who looked a bit dazed. I take my seat and glance over at Kirito who has a serious but gloomy face also in his own world, everyone at this point was whispering to each other about each possibility of what could be wrong, Just then Kirito slaps the table and stands up abruptly making the chair he was once sitting on fall to the floor in a loud thud, I instantly get anxious.
(Well this can't be good...)
I gulp as Kirito starts to speak in a serious tone.
"Alright listen up council members! I just got a very important message from the headmaster...I have no answers to the questions that will come once I tell you why you were all summoned. All I can say is that this is to protect everyone in the country so as of right now Rose Academy will be closing down and sending each and everyone home to their families until this war is over, the government has announced that the state emergency level is raised to level 6 meaning everyone is to be on lockdown until further notice, Military forces will be visiting each home to supply you of every necessity to live on until the lockdown is lifted. If no one has a home to return to you will be sent to a safe haven place amongst the military camps based for military families. We as student council members of each day and night will be in charge of paperwork about each student and their whereabouts so that when the school starts back up we have documented everything, Also we must pass out each note and form to each student in an orderly fashion, Headmaster will announce the news to the other students over the intercom in 2 hours, we have a head start so everyone grab a laptop and notebook to start working, Suzaku, Naiomi, Yuki, Kitachi and Achi come with me to get the notes and forms ready to pass out, Shun you're in charge of the documents and reviewing or helping everyone get finished, we should get done with all of this tonight if we work hard enough, we have to leave by 10 pm tonight to get back to our families as well. Yuji help Shun whenever he needs it, Masaki keep everyone hydrated and prepare foods. Now, let's move out!"
With that said everyone immediately starts doing as they are instructed and the rest of us follow Kirito out, I couldn't help but feel nervous considering the only home I had was abandoned and I had no idea where my mother could be at right now, the anxiety made me shudder as I thought about it but just then a jacket covers my shoulders and I look to my right to see Kirito with an indifferent face.
"Stay warm it's getting cold out, here are the papers you go to the east wing and set up a booth to hand these out, write down each name of the person you hand these out to in a notepad. The headmaster should announce soon so be quick alright?"
I nod not really knowing what else to say and he rubs my head before walking away, I clutch his jacket that's now on me as I watch him walk away further and further till he was finally out of sight then go do as I was directed.
Once I had set up my booth and the headmaster's message was broadcasted all of the students from the east wing gathered to my booth in a crowd, I took the microphone I had borrowed and began to speak.
"Here are some forms you must take with you and once you pick up your form please write your name down in this booklet, once you have finished the form keep the front page for yourself and deposit your form in the school mailbox by the cafeteria, I need one single file line! The faster you follow my directions the faster you will all be able to go home!"
After my directions, everyone did as I told them, and one by one they came and went.
(A few hours later.)
Time flew by really slow, I had been standing for at least 6 hours now and it was now 7 pm but all of the east wing students finally came and went, I quickly take my booth down and return the microphone to where I borrowed it and went to look for Kirito to see what else I could do, My leg was in pain still not fully healed but I pushed myself to keep going.
(I can't slow anyone down, just walk it off, Yuki.)
I kept repeating those words as I walked to where Kirito was, he also had just finished and was directing the few students that were left to the buses.
"Kirito what's next?"
He looks at who was speaking to him and smiles once he sees it was me.
"Let's go see if the other council members are almost finished."
