Once we return home it was dark, we still had about 6 days left till we were going to meet the new Headmaster and the president so in the meantime we decided to head back to town to get some late dinner since it was already after 10.
(Yuki's Pov)
"Hey, Kirito why do you think the vamps are breaking the treaty?"
he stops eating for a second and shrugs.
"They probably have lots of reasons but what's most important right now is the safety of the citizens and councilman. There is no telling how much they have gotten stronger since the last war. They may have even planned this from the start of the treaty, Thankfully I'm sure the capital higher-ups have thought of this first though, and have already had a counterattack planned too. Right now it is just a waiting game to see what's next."
I nod in agreement and think back about my elder brother from when we went to the Party.
"Kirito I think my brother has something to do with this too but I am not sure how deep this conspiracy goes."
Kirito places his now empty dish in the middle of the table and stands up.
"I think my brother as well has something to do with this but right now I can't tell if it's a good intention or bad one..."
I couldn't help but feel sorry for Kirito as he spoke about Mr. Lee.
"Kirito even though I didn't know your brother very well I can tell Mr. Lee is a good person, maybe it is just all a misunderstanding and we just do not have all the information to know his true intentions."
Kirito looks at me with a glimmer in his eyes but then looks away before speaking again.
"Thank you for that but my Father knew something was up and the last message he said to you before his passing is conviction enough for me."
I lower my eyes and sigh thinking back on that moment his father died in my arms whispering his last words to me...
"Yuki, you coming?"
I look up to see Kirito walking towards the exit and follow behind.
"Ya so what do you want to do now?"
Kirito looks up at the full moon above before answering.
"Well since it is so late now I do not think Ms. Natsumi would be too happy with late visitors lets go back to the dorms and wait till morning to speak with her."
I nod in agreement and with that said we head back to the dorms.
(The next morning)
Once morning broke we got up and ready and headed to Ms. Natsumi's office and upon entering she looks up at us and smiles.
"Well what are you guys doing here I thought you left town?"
we both look at each other then both backs at her before I speak first.
"Ms. Natsumi we got back last night we have something disturbing to tell you-"
just as I spoke we hear the door behind us slide open abruptly and Suzaku walks in franticly and profusely sweating.
"Hey, guys there you are! we have a problem!"
Ms. Natsumi quickly stands up and we follow Suzaku out into the front gates where a small group had gathered, after pushing through the crowd we see a young boy who looks to be 17 with long white hair and slender red eyes and standing by him were 6 men in black suits and black sunglasses. Ms. Natsumi steps forward first.
"Mr. Dan Gu what brings us the pleasure of you being here...You know that your kind is in war with ours aren't you afraid of being slandered?"
(He's a vampire?? why is he allowed here?!)
Mr. Gu smiles showing his fangs causing shivers to run through my back.
"My kind is indeed in war with yours but there are a few who still hold dear to the treaty and have not shown violence towards you like myself. My family, in particular, is very creditable for your dear councilmen. We have no obligation to our kind on the other side and like being here..."
Mr. Gu looks at me and I could feel the intense power radiating off him. Kirito seemed to have sensed where Mr. Gu's gaze was and positioned himself in front of me separating me from Mr. Gu's stare.
"Ms. Natsumi I'm here because I came to get an education and I have my enrollment form already signed and notarized from the Councilmen."
He takes out a sheet of paper and holds it up for Ms. Natsumi to see. She sighs once reading it and nods.
"Ok, I see so where are the others who were accepted too? it says there are 3 more."
Mr. Gu places the letter back into his pocket after Ms. Natsumi hands it back to him.
"They will be joining us later this week due to their family's being interrogated making sure they are still on 'Our' side. Once they are fully interrogated and set to be cleared they will be here."
Ms. Natsumi waves her hand to the crowd to disperse.
"Ok, then I will show you to your room for right now..."
Mr. Gu shakes his head.
"That won't be necessary I will have that young lady show me alone"
he points towards me and it felt as if the whole world had stopped at that moment.
