I kept my gaze stern as I answered.
"Yes, I am fully prepared to end his life."
He smirks then backs up a little bit giving me some space.
"Yuki theirs no going back once this is done, he may have done those horrible things to you but he is still your half-brother, and love for a family member is unconditional you can't hesitate for even a second. If you get the chance you have to take it or..."
His voice trailed off and I nod.
"Yes your right, and you don't have to worry because I know I won't hesitate. No, this time I'll finish what he started that night."
He nods and holds his hand out to me.
"Then let's make a deal from here on out we both will change this world and overcome our goals together."
I couldn't help but smile and feel at ease with his words.
( Now I understand why you are President of the student council Kirito. )
I take his hand and we shake on it while looking into the eyes of each other.
"Ok it's a deal Kirito, But May I ask what your goal is?"
He smirks and begins to draw his hand near my face and then
*thump*
He flicks my forehead and I place my hand over where he flicked me.
"Hey what'd you go and do that for!"
He laughs a little.
"Dummy Yuki I just told you my goal, I said I wanted to change this world...not only for me but for you and everyone else."
His smile looked gentle and pure for a moment. It was a weird but pleasurable sight to see so much it stired something in me and I lower my eyes placing my hand on my stomach.
( For a second there I felt weird...his true self was not just a cold and distant man but also this mature, confident and honest man. His goal is so heroic! )
After a brief silence I smile and look back at him, he was staring at me with a grin.
"What's wrong Yuki? "
I instantly blush a little
"Oh uh...well that's an amazing goal to have Kirito...I promise I'll help you achieve it no matter what!"
He smirks
"Great now let us go get something to eat."
Once he mentions food my stomach rumbles and I blush even harder at the loud noise it made, Kirito chuckles and then makes his way out of the room with me right behind him.
( Oh how embarrassing! )
I was cursing myself silently.
-A week before the ball-
"Hey, Naiomi could you hand me that spice there?"
She hands me what I asked for and looks over my shoulder.
"Yuki what are you doing?"
Her eye twitched as she saw all of the dishes I had prepared for dinner.
"Why did you make so much food?! You can feed two whole classes with this much food!"
I giggle and turn to face her before answering her.
"Every time I make dinner all the boys say there's not enough so this time I made 3 times the amount I made last time!"
Naiomi nearly facepalmed
"You know that they could just go get something from the cafeteria right?"
I nod
"But it's healthier if they eat home-cooked meals!"
Naiomi smiles at my words.
"You are so caring I envy you, Yuki, let me help you carry these out."
She grabs two plates and I do the same.
We begin to set up the table. After a minute we had finally finished and Naiomi yelled out loud.
"Dinners ready! come and get it!!!"
-Dinner-
Everyone but Kirito, Kana, And Kai came out. We sat at the table and all began to eat. The table was low to the ground so we sat on the floor, I was a bit disappointed that Kirito hadn't come out to eat so I sat there in silence while everyone talked amongst themselves till Naiomi poked my arm, I look next to me and she's holding up a newspaper
"Look, Yuki! The Shun family's having a royal ball in a week! Oh, how I wish I could go to such an event! I'd look so beautiful in a ball gown don't you think?!"
I gave her a small smile and agreed.
"I think your beautiful even if your not in a ball gown Naiomi! You have so many fanboys already and school just started a month ago!"
Naiomi giggles and cups her cheeks in her hands.
"Your right Yuki! Your such a good friend I don't know what I'd do without you!"
She continues to daydream and I go back to eating, then we hear a door open and Kadachi's loud voice rang out from across the table.
"Hey, Kirito you are missing out on some delicious food-dude why do you look so horrible?"
( Huh? )
I turn around to see Kirito who was in his ball shorts and T-shirt with his hair a bit messy, he runs his fingers through his hair and chuckles.
"I'm just now waking up I fell asleep while working on some paperwork. But the food smelled so nice that it woke me up."
Kadachi grinned really big as he dug into his food, Kirito then grabbed a plate and sat down in the open spot next to me while Naiomi is on the other side of me, I couldn't help but smile softly as he began to eat.
-After dinner-
Once dinner was finished I put up the leftovers and started on the dishes, everyone had gone back to their rooms so I took the opportunity to turn on some music while I cleaned. As I turn around to place the last dish up I was startled to see Kana standing behind me staring at me that I dropped the dish and it crashes to the floor. Kana smirked rather deviously
( I didn't even sense her presence at all, how did she get behind me like that! )
Kana then began to speak
"Your really clumsy aren't you? No wonder so many pity you, you can't even do a simple task without messing it up can you?"
( What on earth is with this girl?! )
"Ms. Kana I don't know what I've done to offend you but if I have I do apologize I don't wish to be enemies with you..."
She laughs at me
"You didn't offend me I just don't like you, your way out of your league here and I don't think you should have the title of Vice I think that title should have been mine!"
( So she's one of them girls huh...)
"Ms. Kana I can't help that you feel that way but I can assure you that I earned this title fair and square!"
She moves her hair off of her shoulders and turns away from me to leave.
"Yuki you have the richest and most influential family name in the world and no one knows that, and you think I'll believe that you just simply earned your title?"
Shocked by her knowledge I instantly reply.
"How do you know about me?!"
She turns her head to the side to look back at me before walking away.
"It doesn't matter, all that matters now is that what will everyone else think of you if they knew you paid your way in!"
I wanted to fight her at this moment but kept my composure and smiled back at her.
"Kana I did not pay my way in I earned it, so whatever you think is up to you but if you keep being shameless like this and making those horrible faces I'm sure your face will be even uglier than it already is..."
Her face grew livid that instant and she nearly yelled back at me but we hear a door open and our attention shot towards the noise to see Kirito walking towards the kitchen, Kana took this opportunity to walk back to her room and I begin to clean up the shards of glass when Kirito walks in.
"What happened here?"
I look up to see him staring at the broken glass.
"Oh, I accidentally dropped the plate-"
He bends down and starts to help me clean it up.
"Here let me help you, you cut yourself last time so be careful."
I smile and thank him, I then look behind him to see Kana staring at us with a jealous glare, I flash a devious smirk that only she could see and she looked even more livid before slamming her door shut, Kirito shoots his head behind him to see what the noise was but saw nothing then looks back at me missing my silent attack on Kana.
"What was that noise?"
I shrug my shoulders
"I'm not sure? Maybe a rat fell or something."
He chuckles
"I hope there are not any rats here."
