Chapter 2 - No's POV

"We are back!" sing-song by Mick, the guy with the red hair.

"What did you both found out about the enemy?" I questioned them since I mostly doubted that they would get any work done. The Papillons are very strong and diligent magi that I don't bother to encounter. If I did, I would only get a bloody face before I see my sister again.

For the last six years, I had been trying to find Ro, my twin. She's the reason why I left the orphanage early and I landed in this organization called the Dark Prism. Although aunties, the ones who raised me and Ro, didn't allowed me to enter the group, I decided to still follow my intentions to find her, but with carefulness since they told me that the Dark Prism is a dark organization led by a mysterious leader. Currently, I had been secretly investigating the leader. This mysterious one they so called isn't quite suspicious to me because he was the one who made a deal with me. He once told me that if I help him out complete all the crystals owned by the most powerful families in Prince City, he will lend a hand to find Ro. I have no idea what he wants to do with the crystals, but if it is a way to find my sister, I will do everything I can. But, I will make sure that it's the right decision.

Prince City is not seen from any maps because this is the city where all magi, people with magic, have gathered. The world government or the United Nations have made this city a secret and mayors of this place from generations have built up an invisible wall that no normal person can see. An ocean is what a normie can see as they look over Prince City. I had been wondering about how the current mayor continue this until the end of their life. It's such a mystery to me on how powerful magic surrounds the big city of magi. Maybe, it's a long lasting spell? But, it stills makes the spell caster lose mana.

The leader of the Dark Prism taught me a bunch of spells that can be useful with my rare magic. It was a hypothesis that the leader wanted my magic and research more about it since this magic I use wasn't on the city's records. Over years of the Prism's staying in this city, they still haven't been caught by the good guys. Hmm... Or maybe the Dark Prism are the good guys? Okay. I have been confusing myself in this part, but one things for sure that this leader of ours is a magical expert. And I mean it.

I was aged eight, a year after I lost Ro, when I crossed paths with him. He hasn't told me his name nor let me see his true face. A black with a silver lining was always covering up his face. He said that instead of me calling him by his name, I will call him---"Master". Of course, I followed him wherever he went. I still needed to know more about the world I'm living in. Who is the good, and who is the bad. Aunties back in the orphanage had taught me about the balance of life. Positivity and negativity. The world cannot be completed with the two properties, or so they say. They taught me that I should never accompany myself with the darkness because if I do, I will only get swallowed up and can't get out even with reflex. As a thirteen year old boy, I did not understand the matter of the situation. I'm hoping that I will understand it sooner or later.

"No, you are spacing out!" called out Mick. "Who are you thinking of? Was it Carolina?"

"What?!" I startled. "No, the heck why will I think of her? Mick, you are being too obvious that you like her."

"Wait, me? Like Carolina Favorito? No way, dude. She slaps me and beat me when I didn't even know what I did. But, with you, she is as sweet as a sugar. I'm telling you, No." Mick gradually teases me with some giggles and some 'Yiee's.

Carolina or Caro, is my best friend I met when I entered Dark Prism. She was here only two months before I did. She told me that I was her first friend. The young girl has blond hair and dazzling emerald eyes. Of course it is normally for a girl and a boy to be friends right? And since we met earlier than Caro and Mick did, I can only say that Mick's pretty jealous since he can't talk properly with a cute girl. Hey! I'm not saying that I like-like her. No. She's just a friend.

"Really?" a sudden question from Rav, the one with hazel hair. I suspect that he has been using his telephat skills on me and read my mind about how I feel about Caro.

I groaned. "Dude, you heard me. She is just a friend! Can't a boy and a girl be just friends? Not all relationships between two opposite genders end up with their lives entwined with each other."

"What ever you say," Rav stated with a tone of teasing just like Mick.

The two left and headed towards the Center. It is where we tell the secretary of the organization what happened with our missions. I told them that I'll see them later before Rav and Mick left. I exited the building and sat on my black Porsche Boxter and turned on the engine. As I was about to take off, a blond haired girl jumped in and punched me. However, before her right fist hit my head, I managed to stop her attack. I instantly knew who this girl is and what she is doing here. "Leave me alone, Caro. You are not supposedly going to join me on my own mission."

"Dear No, you know that you need help on finding your sister, right? That 's what I'm here for." Caro sat down comfortably beside me.

I sighed. I had told her this a hundred times yet she still doesn't learn. "Caro, Master will be helping me. I have no needs for you."

She pouted. "You are starting to sound like Master, arrogant and has a bad boy personality. Argh! I hate those types of guys. Come on, No. Give me a chance. I'll prove myself that I can help you with finding Ro. It's just easy peasy, your twin sister looks like you. Dark hair and red eyes?"

"You don't even know what she looks like. You based her looks with my face."

"Well, twins are meant to look alike. Ain't it right?"

"Actually, they also take up the looks of their mother and father. I, however, was told that Ro was a splitting image of our mother and mine was our father, who apparently none knows."

"I'm sorry alright?! So, what's her looks?"

"She looks like but not at the same time."

"I'm not getting you." Caro is puzzled. "Explain it further, No."

"Ro is a girl with a pair of diamond eyes and red hair. She is caring, friendly, sweet, loving, and hasn't known how to control her own powers."

"I believed that I heard from you years ago that she was lost the night of your seventh birthdays? It was a long time ago. Aren't you sure that it wasn't outdated?"

"I'm very sure." I did hesitate for a moment and added, "Maybe not?"

"Jeez, No. Now, tell me where Master found out your sister's location."

I didn't answer her for a moment. I checked out my phone to see any messages. Apparently, there were none, and I had to say to her that I haven't recieved any news about it. On the contrary, before I was about to say what I was about to speak out, my phone buzzed and alerted a message. I opened it and read it.

"Who is that?" Caro asked me.

"It's from Mick and Rav," I reported. "They said that they will be joining us since they know where my sister is and-"

I stopped for a minute to reread everything. I couldn't believe this. How could this possibly happen? This shouldn't be the outcome of her disappearance. How could Ro be with the enemy?!

"And what?" She inquired.

I stuttered. "She knows where the crystal is. Right now, they are at the current mayor's school and Master had prepared files for us. Undercover. Rav said that they need to retrieve the crystal."

"Why are you anxious?" Caro had completely read my face.

I mumbled it but she still could hear me. "Which means that Ro will be in danger."
